Zacarías 12

1 Carga de la palabra de Jehová sobre Israel. Dijo Jehová, el que extiende los cielos, y funda la tierra, y forma el espíritu del hombre dentro de él:

The oracle of the word of Yahweh, on Israel, —Declareth Yahweh—Stretching out the heavens, and founding the earth, and fashioning the spirit of man within him:

2 He aquí que yo pongo a Jerusalem por vaso de veneno a todos los pueblos al derredor, y también a Judá la cual será en el cerco contra Jerusalem.

Lo! I am making Jerusalem a bowl of reeling to all the peoples, round about, —Moreover also, on Judah, shall it be in the siege against Jerusalem;

3 Y será en aquel día, que yo pondré a Jerusalem por piedra pesada a todos los pueblos: todos los que se la cargaren, despedazando serán despedazados; y todas las naciones de la tierra se juntarán contra ella.

And it shall come to pass, in that day, that I will make Jerusalem a lifting-stone, to all the peoples, all who seek to lift her, shall, cut themselves in pieces, —though all the nations of the earth, gather themselves together against her.

4 En aquel día, dijo Jehová, heriré con aturdimiento a todo caballo, y con locura al que sube en él: mas sobre la casa de Judá abriré mis ojos, y a todo caballo de los pueblos heriré con ceguera.

In that day, Declareth Yahweh, I will smite every horse with terror, and his rider with madness, —and, over the house of Judah, will I keep opening mine eyes, and, every horse of the peoples, will I smite with blindness.

5 Y los capitanes de Judá dirán en su corazón: Mi fuerza son los moradores de Jerusalem en Jehová de los ejércitos su Dios.

Then will the chiefs of Judah say in their hearts, —A strength unto me, [would be] the inhabitants of Jerusalem, in Yahweh of hosts, their God.

6 En aquel día pondré los capitanes de Judá como un brasero de fuego en leña, y como una hacha de fuego en gavillas; y consumirá a diestro y a siniestro todos los pueblos al derredor, y Jerusalem será habitada otra vez en su lugar, en Jerusalem.

In that day, will I make the chiefs of Judah like a pan of fire among sticks, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf, so shall they devour, on the right hand and on the left, all the peoples round about; so shall Jerusalem yet, be inhabited, in her own place, as Jerusalem.

7 Y guardará Jehová las tiendas de Judá como en el principio, porque la gloria de la casa de David, y del morador de Jerusalem no se engrandecerá sobre Judá.

But Yahweh will save the tents of Judah first, —lest the honour of the house of David, and the honour of the inhabitant of Jerusalem, should be magnified over Judah.

8 En aquel día Jehová defenderá al morador de Jerusalem; y el que entre ellos fuere flaco en aquel tiempo, será como David; y la casa de David, como Dios, como el ángel de Jehová delante de ellos.

In that day, will Yahweh, throw a covering, around the inhabitant of Jerusalem, so shall the tottering among them, in that day, become like David, —and the house of David—like God, like the messenger of Yahweh, before them.

9 Y será, que en aquel día yo procuraré quebrantar todas las naciones que vinieren contra Jerusalem.

And it shall come to pass, in that day, —That I will seek to destroy all the nations, that come against Jerusalem.

10 Y derramaré sobre la casa de David, y sobre los moradores de Jerusalem, espíritu de gracia y de oración: mirarán en mí, a quien traspasaron; y harán llanto sobre él, como llanto que se hace sobre unigénito, afligiéndose sobre él como quien se aflige sobre primogénito.

But I will pour out upon the house of David and upon the inhabitant of Jerusalem, the spirit of favour, and of supplications, and they will look unto me, whom they have pierced, —and will wail over him, as one waileth over an only son, and will make bitter outcry over him, as one maketh bitter outcry over a firstborn.

11 En aquel día habrá gran llanto en Jerusalem, como el llanto de Adadremón en el valle de Mageddón.

In that day, will the wailing, be great, in Jerusalem, as the wailing of Hadadrimmon, in the valley of Megiddon;

12 Y la tierra lamentará: cada linaje de por sí: el linaje de la casa de David por sí, y sus mujeres por sí: el linaje de la casa de Natán por sí, y sus mujeres por sí:

So shall the land, wail, family by family, apart, —the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart, the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;

13 El linaje de la casa de Leví por sí, y sus mujeres por sí: el linaje de Semeí por sí, y sus mujeres por sí:

The family of the house of Levi, apart, and their wives apart, the family of Shimei, apart, —and their wives apart:

14 Todos los otros linajes, los linajes por sí, y sus mujeres por sí.

All the families that remain, family by family, apart, —and their wives, apart.
