Apocalipsis 21
1 Y vi un cielo nuevo, y una tierra nueva: porque el primer cielo, y la primera tierra se fue, y la mar ya no era.
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.
2 Y yo Juan ví la santa ciudad de Jerusalem nueva, que descendía del cielo, aderezada de Dios, como la esposa ataviada para su marido.
And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 Y oí una gran voz del cielo, que decía: He aquí, el tabernáculo de Dios con los hombres, y él morará con ellos; y ellos serán su pueblo, y el mismo Dios será su Dios con ellos.
And I heard a loud voice out of the throne, saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them, their God;
4 Y limpiará Dios toda lágrima de los ojos de ellos; y la muerte no será más; ni habrá más pesar, ni clamor, ni dolor; porque las primeras cosas son pasadas.
and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall mourning, nor crying, nor pain he any more; for the former things are passed away.
5 Y el que estaba sentado en el trono, dijo: He aquí, yo hago nuevas todas las cosas. Y me dijo: Escribe; porque estas palabras son fieles y verdaderas.
And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he saith, Write; for these words are faithful and true.
6 Y díjome: Hecho es. Yo soy el Alfa y la Omega, el principio y el fin. Al que tuviere sed yo le daré de la fuente del agua de la vida de balde.
And he said to me, All things are accomplished. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To him that thirsteth I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7 El que venciere, heredará todas las cosas, y yo seré su Dios, y él será mi hijo.
He that overcometh shall inherit these things, and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
9 Y vino a mí uno de los siete ángeles, que tenían las siete redomas llenas de las siete postreras plagas, y habló conmigo, diciendo: Ven acá, yo te mostraré la esposa, mujer del Cordero.
And there came one of the seven angels who had the seven vials filled with the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither; I will show thee the bride, the wife of the Lamb.
10 Y llevóme en el espíritu a un gran monte y alto, y mostróme la grande ciudad, la santa Jerusalem, que descendía del cielo de Dios,
And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,
11 Teniendo la gloria de Dios; y su lumbre era semejante a una piedra preciosísima, como piedra de jaspe cristalizante.
having the glory of God; her light was like to a most precious stone, as it were a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
12 Y tenía un grande muro y alto, y tenía doce puertas; y en las puertas, doce ángeles; y nombres escritos sobre ellas, que son los nombres de las doce tribus de los hijos de Israel.
having a wall great and high; having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel;
13 Al oriente tres puertas: al aquilón tres puertas: al mediodía tres puertas: al poniente tres puertas.
on the east, three gates; and on the north, three gates; and on the south, three gates; and on the west, three gates.
14 Y el muro de la ciudad tenía doce fundamentos; y en ellos los nombres de los doce apóstoles del Cordero.
And the wall of the city had twelve foundation-stones, and on them the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15 Y el que hablaba conmigo, tenía una medida de una caña de oro, para medir la ciudad, y sus puertas, y su muro.
And he who talked with me had for a measure a golden reed, to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
16 Y la ciudad está situada y puesta en cuadro, y su longitud es tanta como su anchura. Y él midió la ciudad con la caña, y tenía doce mil estadios; y la longitud, y la anchura, y la altura de ella son iguales.
And the city lieth four-square, and its length is as great as its breadth. And he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.
17 Y midió su muro, hallóle de ciento y cuarenta y cuatro codos, de medida de hombre, la cual es de ángel.
And he measured the wall thereof, a hundred and forty-four cubits, according to a man's measure, which is that of an angel.
18 Y el material de su muro era de jaspe; empero la ciudad era de oro puro, semejante al vidrio limpio.
And the material of its wall was jasper; and the city was of pure gold, like to clear glass.
19 Y los fundamentos del muro de la ciudad estaban adornados de toda piedra preciosa. El primer fundamento era jaspe; el segundo, zafiro; el tercero, calcedonia; el cuarto, esmeralda;
The foundation-stones of the wall of the city were adorned with all manner of precious stones: the first foundation-stone was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald;
20 El quinto, sardónica; el sexto, sardio; el séptimo, crisólito; el octavo, beril; el nono, topacio; el décimo, crisoprasa; el undécimo, jacinto; el duodécimo, ametisto.
the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprasus; the eleventh, hyacinth; the twelfth, amethyst.
21 Y las doce puertas eran doce perlas; cada una de las puertas era de una perla. Y la plaza de la ciudad era oro puro, como vidrio trasparente.
And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.
22 Y yo no ví templo en ella; porque el Señor Dios Todopoderoso y el Cordero son el templo de ella.
And I saw no temple therein; for the Lord God Almighty is its temple, and the Lamb.
23 Y la ciudad no tenía necesidad del sol, ni de la luna para que resplandezcan en ella; porque la gloria de Dios la ha alumbrado, y el Cordero es su luz.
And the city hath no need of the sun, nor of the moon, to shine upon it; for the glory of God lightened it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
24 Y las naciones de los que hubieren sido salvos andarán en la luz de ella; y los reyes de la tierra traerán su gloria y honor a ella.
And the nations will walk by the light of it; and the kings of the earth bring their glory into it;
25 Y sus puertas no serán cerradas de día, porque allí no habrá noche:
and the gates of it shall not be shut by day, for there will be no night there;
26 Y llevarán la gloria, y la honra de las naciones a ella.
and they will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it.
27 No entrará en ella ninguna cosa sucia, o que hace abominación y mentira; sino solamente los que están escritos en el libro de la vida del Cordero.
And there shall not enter into it anything unclean, or that worketh abomination and falsehood; but only they that are written in the Lamb's book of life.
