Salmos 77

1 Mi voz a Dios, y clamé: mi voz a Dios, y él me escuchará.

Unto the end, for Idithun, a psalm of Asaph. I cried to the Lord with my voice; to God with my voice, and he gave ear to me.

2 En el día de mi angustia al Señor busqué: mi llaga se desangraba de noche, sin estancarse: mi alma no quería consuelo.

In the day of my trouble I sought God, with my hands lifted up to him in the night, and I was not deceived. My soul refused to be comforted:

3 Acordábame de Dios, y me sobresaltaba: quejábame, y desmayaba mi espíritu. (Selah)

I remembered God, and was delighted, and was exercised, and my spirit swooned away.

4 Tenías los párpados de mis ojos: estaba quebrantado, y no hablaba.

My eyes prevented the watches: I was troubled, and I spoke not.

5 Contaba los días desde el principio: los años de los siglos.

I thought upon the days of old: and I had in my mind the eternal years.

6 Acordábame de mis canciones de noche: meditaba con mi corazón, y mi espíritu escudriñaba.

And I meditated in the night with my own heart: and I was exercised and I swept my spirit.

7 ¿Desechará el Señor para siempre, y no volverá más a amar?

Will God then cast off for ever? or will he never be more favourable again?

8 ¿Háse acabado para siempre su misericordia? ¿Háse acabado la palabra para generación y generación?

Or will he cut off his mercy for ever, from generation to generation?

9 ¿Ha olvidado Dios el haber misericordia? ¿Ha encerrado con la ira sus misericordias? (Selah)

Or will God forget to shew mercy? or will he in his anger shut up his mercies?

10 Y dije: Enfermedad mía es. En los años de la diestra del Altísimo.

And I said, Now have I begun: this is the change of the right hand of the most High.

11 Acordábame de las obras de Jehová: por tanto me acordé de tus maravillas antiguas.

I remembered the works of the Lord: for I will be mindful of thy wonders from the beginning.

12 Y meditaba en todas tus obras, y hablaba de tus hechos.

And I will meditate on all thy works: and will be employed in thy inventions.

13 O! Dios, en santidad es tu camino, ¿Quién es Dios grande, como el Dios nuestro?

Thy way, O God, is in the holy place: who is the great God like our God?

14 Tú eres el Dios que hace maravillas, haciendo notoria en los pueblos tu fortaleza.

Thou art the God that dost wonders. Thou hast made thy power known among the nations:

15 Redímiste con brazo tu pueblo, los hijos de Jacob y de José. (Selah)

With thy arm thou hast redeemed thy people the children of Jacob and of Joseph.

16 Viéronte las aguas, o! Dios, las aguas te vieron, temieron, también temblaron los abismos.

The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee: and they were afraid, and the depths were troubled.

17 Las nubes echaron inundaciones de aguas: los cielos dieron voz; asimismo discurrieron tus rayos.

Great was the noise of the waters: the clouds sent out a sound. For thy arrows pass:

18 El sonido de tus truenos anduvo en cerco: los relámpagos alumbraron al mundo: la tierra se estremeció, y tembló.

The voice of thy thunder in a wheel. Thy lightnings enlightened the world: the earth shook and trembled.

19 En la mar estuvo tu camino: y tus sendas en las muchas aguas; y tus pisadas no fueron conocidas.

Thy way is in the sea, and thy paths in many waters: and thy footsteps shall not be known.

20 Llevaste, como ovejas, tu pueblo, por mano de Moisés, y de Aarón.

Thou hast conducted thy people like sheep, by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
