Salmos 75

1 Alabarte hemos, o! Dios, alabar te hemos; que cercano está tu nombre: cuenten todos tus maravillas.

“To the chief musician, Al-tashcheth, a psalm or song of Asaph.” We give thanks unto thee, O God, we give thanks, and nigh is thy name: men relate thy wondrous deeds.

2 Cuando yo tuviere tiempo, yo juzgaré rectamente.

“For I will take up a fixed time when I will judge uprightly.

3 La tierra se arruinaba, y sus moradores: yo compuse sus columnas. (Selah)

The earth and all her inhabitants are melting away: I myself establish firmly her pillars.” (Selah)

4 Dije a los malvados: No os enloquezcáis: y a los impíos: No alcéis el cuerno.

I said unto the arrogant, Deal not arrogantly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn.

5 No levantéis en alto vuestro cuerno; no habléis con cerviz gruesa.

Lift not up on high your horn, speak not with a stiffly erect neck.

6 Porque ni de oriente, ni de occidente, ni del desierto viene el ensalzamiento.

For neither from the rising [of the sun], nor from [his] setting, nor from the wilderness of mountains [cometh this];

7 Porque Dios, que es el juez; a este abate, y a aquel ensalza.

But God is the judge: he lowereth one, and lifteth up another,

8 Que el cáliz está en la mano de Jehová, y lleno de vino bermejo de mistura, y él derrama de aquí: ciertamente sus heces chuparán, y beberán todos los impíos de la tierra.

For there is a cup in the hand of the Lord, and the wine foameth, it is full of mixture: and he poureth out of the same; but its lees they drain, they drink—all the wicked of the earth.

9 Y yo anunciaré siempre: cantaré alabanzas al Dios de Jacob.

But I will declare for ever, I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

10 Y quebraré todos los cuernos de los pecadores: y los cuernos del justo serán ensalzados.

And all the horns of the wicked will I hew off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
