Salmos 61

1 Oye, o! Dios, mi clamor; está atento a mi oración.

Hear my cry, O God. Attend to my prayer.

2 Desde el cabo de la tierra clamaré a ti, cuando desmayare mi corazón; a la peña más alta que yo, llévame.

From the end of the earth I will call to thee when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

3 Porque tú has sido mi refugio; torre de fortaleza delante del enemigo.

For thou have been a refuge for me, a strong tower from the enemy.

4 Yo habitaré en tu tabernáculo para siempre; estaré seguro en el escondedero de tus alas.

I will dwell in thy tabernacle forever. I will take refuge in the covert of thy wings. (Selah)

5 Porque tú, o! Dios, has oído mis votos; has dado heredad a los que temen tu nombre.

For thou, O God, have heard my vows. Thou have given me the heritage of those who fear thy name.

6 Días sobre días añadirás al rey: sus años serán como generación y generación.

Thou will prolong the king's life. His years shall be as many generations.

7 El estará para siempre delante de Dios; misericordia y verdad apercibe que le conserven.

He shall abide before God forever. O prepare loving kindness and truth that they may preserve him.

8 Así cantaré tu nombre para siempre, pagando mis votos cada día.

So I will sing praise to thy name forever, that I may daily perform my vows.
