Salmos 54

1 O! Dios, sálvame en tu nombre, y con tu valentía me defiende.

To the Chief Musician: with Stringed Instruments. A Psalm of Instruction, of David. When the Ziphites came and said unto Saul, Is not, David, hiding himself, with us? O God! by thine own Name, save me, And, by thine own strength, wilt thou vindicate me?

2 O! Dios, oye mi oración, escucha las razones de mi boca.

O God! Hear my prayer, Give ear to the sayings of my mouth;

3 Porque extraños se han levantado contra mí, y fuertes han buscado a mi alma: no han puesto a Dios delante de si. (Selah)

For, aliens, have risen up against me, And, men of violence, have sought my life, They have not set God before them. (Selah)

4 He aquí, Dios es el que me ayuda; el Señor es con los que sustentan mi vida.

Lo! God, is bringing me help, My Lord, is with the upholders of my life;

5 El volverá el mal a mis enemigos; córtalos por tu verdad.

Let him turn back the mischief upon mine adversaries, In thy faithfulness, destroy them!

6 Voluntariamente sacrificaré a ti; alabaré tu nombre, o! Jehová, porque es bueno.

With a freewill-offering, will I sacrifice unto thee, I will praise thy Name, O Yahweh, for it is good;

7 Porque me ha escapado de toda angustia, y en mis enemigos vieron mis ojos la venganza.

For, out of all distress, hath he rescued me, —And, upon my foes, hath, mine own eye, looked.
