Salmos 50
1 El Dios de dioses, Jehová, habló; y convocó la tierra desde el nacimiento del sol hasta donde se pone.
A psalm for Asaph. The God of gods, the Lord hath spoken: and he hath called the earth. From the rising of the sun, to the going down thereof:
2 De Sión, perfección de hermosura, Dios resplandeció.
Out of Sion the loveliness of his beauty.
3 Vendrá nuestro Dios, y no callará: fuego consumirá de su presencia: y al rededor de él habrá grande tempestad.
God shall come manifestly: our God shall come, and shall not keep silence. A fire shall burn before him: and a mighty tempest shall be round about him.
4 Convocará a los cielos de arriba: y a la tierra para juzgar a su pueblo.
He shall call heaven from above, and the earth, to judge his people.
5 Juntádme mis misericordiosos: los que concertaron mi concierto sobre sacrificio.
Gather ye together his saints to him: who set his covenant before sacrifices.
6 Y denunciarán los cielos su justicia; porque Dios es juez. (Selah)
And the heavens shall declare his justice: for God is judge.
7 Oye pueblo mío, y hablaré: Israel, y contestaré contra ti: Yo soy el Dios, el Dios tuyo.
Hear, O my people, and I will speak: O Israel, and I will testify to thee: I am God, thy God.
8 No te reprenderé sobre tus sacrificios; porque tus holocaustos delante de mí están siempre.
I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices: and thy burnt offerings are always in my sight.
9 No tomaré de tu casa becerros: ni machos de cabrío de tus apriscos.
I will not take calves out of thy house: nor he goats out of thy flocks.
10 Porque mía es toda bestia del monte: millares de animales en los montes.
For all the beasts of the woods are mine: the cattle on the hills, and the oxen.
11 Yo conozco a todas las aves de los montes; y las fieras del campo están conmigo.
I know all the fowls of the air: and with me is the beauty of the field.
12 Si tuviere hambre, no te lo diré a ti; porque mío es el mundo y su plenitud.
If I should be hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.
13 ¿Tengo de comer carne de gruesos toros, o, de beber sangre de machos de cabrío?
Shall I eat the flesh of bullocks? or shall I drink the blood of goats?
14 Sacrifica a Dios alabanza: y paga al Altísimo tus votos.
Offer to God the sacrifice of praise: and pay thy vows to the most High.
15 Y llámame en el día de la angustia; librarte he, y honrarme has.
And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
16 Y al malo dijo Dios: ¿Qué tienes tú que enarrar mis leyes: y que tomes mi concierto por tu boca:
But to the sinner God hath said: Why dost thou declare my justices, and take my covenant in thy mouth?
17 Aborreciendo tú el castigo, y echando detrás de ti mis palabras?
Seeing thou hast hated discipline: and hast cast my words behind thee.
18 Si veías al ladrón, tu corrías con él: y con los adúlteros era tu parte.
If thou didst see a thief thou didst run with him: and with adulterers thou hast been a partaker.
19 Tu boca metías en mal: y tu lengua componía engaño.
Thy mouth hath abounded with evil, and thy tongue framed deceits.
20 Asentábaste, hablabas contra tu hermano: contra el hijo de tu madre ponías infamia.
Sitting thou didst speak against thy brother, and didst lay a scandal against thy mother’s son:
21 Estas cosas hiciste, y yo callé: ¿pensabas por eso que de cierto sería yo como tú? argüirte he, y propondré delante de tus ojos.
These things hast thou done, and I was silent. Thou thoughtest unjustly that I should be like to thee: but I will reprove thee, and set before thy face.
22 Entendéd ahora esto, los que os olvidáis de Dios: porque no arrebate, y no haya quien os escape.
Understand these things, you that forget God; lest he snatch you away, and there be none to deliver you.
23 El que sacrifica alabanza me honrará: y el que ordenare el camino, yo le enseñaré la salud de Dios.
The sacrifice of praise shall glorify me: and there is the way by which I will shew him the salvation of God.
