Salmos 47

1 Todos los pueblos batid las manos: clamád a Dios con voz de alegría.

For the Leader; a Psalm for the sons of Korah. O clap your hands, all ye peoples; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.

2 Porque Jehová es sublime y temeroso: Rey grande sobre toda la tierra.

For the LORD is most high, awful; a great King over all the earth.

3 Él someterá a los pueblos debajo de nosotros, y a las naciones debajo de nuestros pies.

He subdueth peoples under us, and nations under our feet.

4 El nos eligirá nuestras heredades; la hermosura de Jacob, al cual amó. (Selah)

He chooseth our inheritance for us, the pride of Jacob whom He loveth. (Selah)

5 Subió Dios con júbilo, Jehová con voz de trompeta.

God is gone up amidst shouting, the LORD amidst the sound of the horn.

6 Cantád a Dios, cantád; cantád a nuestro Rey, cantád.

Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises unto our King, sing praises.

7 Porque el Rey de toda la tierra es Dios: cantád entendiendo.

For God is the King of all the earth; sing ye praises in a skilful song.

8 Reinó Dios sobre las naciones: Dios se asentó sobre su santo trono.

God reigneth over the nations; God sitteth upon His holy throne.

9 Los príncipes de los pueblos se juntaron al pueblo del Dios de Abraham: porque de Dios son los escudos de la tierra; él es muy ensalzado.

The princes of the peoples are gathered together, the people of the God of Abraham; for unto God belong the shields of the earth; He is greatly exalted.
