Salmos 19
1 Los cielos cuentan la gloria de Dios; y el extendimiento denuncia la obra de sus manos.
To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the expanse sheweth the work of his hands.
2 El un día pronuncia palabra al otro día, y la una noche a la otra noche declara sabiduría.
Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
3 No hay dicho, ni palabras, ni es oída su voz.
There is no speech and there are no words, yet their voice is heard.
4 En toda la tierra salió su línea, y al cabo del mundo sus palabras: para el sol puso tabernáculo en ellos.
Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their language to the extremity of the world. In them hath he set a tent for the sun,
5 Y él como un novio que sale de su tálamo, alégrase, como un gigante, para correr el camino.
And he is as a bridegroom going forth from his chamber; he rejoiceth as a strong man to run the race.
6 Del un cabo de los cielos es su salida, y rodea por sus cabos; y no hay quien se esconda de su calor.
His going forth is from the end of the heavens, and his circuit unto the ends of it; and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
7 La ley de Jehová perfecta, que vuelve el alma, el testimonio de Jehová fiel, que hace sabio al pequeño.
The law of Jehovah is perfect, restoring the soul; the testimony of Jehovah is sure, making wise the simple;
8 Los mandamientos de Jehová rectos, que alegran el corazón: el precepto de Jehová puro, que alumbra los ojos.
The precepts of Jehovah are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of Jehovah is pure, enlightening the eyes;
9 El temor de Jehová limpio que permanece para siempre, los derechos de Jehová, verdad, todos justos.
The fear of Jehovah is clean, enduring for ever; the judgments of Jehovah are truth, they are righteous altogether:
10 Deseables más que el oro, y más que mucho oro afinado: y dulces más que miel, y que licor de panales.
They are more precious than gold, yea, than much fine gold; and sweeter than honey and the dropping of the honeycomb.
11 Tu siervo también es amonestado con ellos: en guardarlos, gran salario.
Moreover, by them is thy servant enlightened; in keeping them there is great reward.
12 Los errores, ¿quién los entenderá? de los encubiertos líbrame.
Who understandeth [his] errors? Purify me from secret [faults].
13 Asimismo de las soberbias detén a tu siervo, que no se enseñoreen de mí: entonces seré perfecto, y seré limpio de gran rebelión.
Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous [sins]; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be perfect, and I shall be innocent from great transgression.
14 Sean voluntarios los dichos de mi boca; y el pensamiento de mi corazón delante de ti, o! Jehová, roca mía, y mi redentor.
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, O Jehovah, my rock, and my redeemer.
