< Salmos 14 >
1 Dijo el insensato en su corazón: No hay Dios: Corrompiéronse, hicieron obras abominables: no hay quien haga bien.
To the Chief Musician. David’s. The impious hath said in his heart—There is no God! They have acted corruptly, they have done an abominable deed, there is none that doeth good.
2 Jehová miró desde los cielos sobre los hijos de los hombres, por ver si hay algún sabio, que busque a Dios.
Yahweh, out of the heavens, looked down over the sons of men, —to see whether there was one that showed wisdom, enquiring after God: —
3 Todos declinaron a una, dañáronse; no hay quien haga bien, no hay ni aun uno.
The whole, have turned aside, Together have they become tainted, —There is none that doeth good, not so much as, one!
4 Ciertamente ¿no lo conocieron todos los que obran iniquidad, que comen mi pueblo, como si comiesen pan? a Jehová no invocaron.
Are all the workers of iniquity, without knowledge? devouring my people [as] they devour food! Upon Yahweh, have they not called.
5 Allí temblaron de espanto: porque Dios está con la nación de los justos.
There have they been in great dread, because, God, is in the circle of the righteous man.
6 El consejo del pobre avergonzasteis por cuanto Jehová es su esperanza.
The purpose of the poor, ye would put to shame, because, Yahweh, is his refuge.
7 ¡Quién diese de Sión la salud de Israel, tornando Jehová la cautividad de su pueblo! Gozárse ha Jacob, y alegrarse ha Israel.
Oh that, out of Zion, were granted the salvation of Israel! When Yahweh bringeth back the captives of his people, Jacob, shall exult, Israel, be glad.
