Números 1

1 Y habló Jehová a Moisés en el desierto de Sinaí en el tabernáculo del testimonio, en el primero del mes segundo, en el segundo año de su salida de la tierra de Egipto, diciendo:

And the Lord spoke unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the congregation, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after their going out of the land of Egypt, saying,

2 Tomád la copia de toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, por la cuenta de los nombres, todos los varones por sus cabezas.

Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, every male according to their polls;

3 De veinte años y arriba, todos los que salen a la guerra en Israel; contarlos heis tú y Aarón por sus cuadrillas.

From twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel: these shall ye number according to their armies, thou and Aaron.

4 Y estarán con vosotros un varón de cada tribu, cada uno que sea cabeza de la casa de sus padres.

And with you there shall be one man each of every tribe; a man who is the head of his family division.

5 Y estos son los nombres de los varones, que estarán con vosotros. De Rubén: Elisur, hijo de Seduer.

And these are the names of the men that shall stand with you; of Reuben: Elizur the son of Shedeur.

6 De Simeón: Salamiel, hijo de Surisaddai.

Of Simeon: Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.

7 De Judá: Nahasón, hijo de Aminadab.

Of Judah: Nachshon the son of 'Amminadab.

8 De Isacar: Natanael, hijo de Suar.

Of Issachar: Nethanel the son of Zuar.

9 De Zabulón: Eliab, hijo de Helón.

Of Zebulun: Eliab the son of Chelon.

10 De los hijos de José: de Efraím: Elisama, hijo de Ammiud: de Manasés: Gamaliel, hijo de Fadassur.

Of the children of Joseph, of Ephraim: Elishama the son of 'Ammihud; of Menasseh: Gamliel the son of Pedahzur.

11 De Ben-jamín: Abidán, hijo de Gedeón.

Of Benjamin: Abidan the son of Gidoni.

12 De Dan: Ahiezer, hijo de Ammisaddai.

Of Dan: Achiezer the son of 'Ammishaddai.

13 De Aser: Fegiel, hijo de Ocrán.

Of Asher: Pagiel the son of 'Ochran.

14 De Gad: Eliasaf, hijo de Dehuel.

Of Gad: Elyassaph the son of Deuel.

15 De Neftalí: Ahira, hijo de Enán.

Of Naphtali: Achira the son of 'Enan.

16 Estos eran los nombrados de la congregación, príncipes de las tribus de sus padres, capitanes de los millares de Israel.

These were the selected of the congregation, the princes of the tribes of their fathers; the heads of the thousands of Israel were they.

17 Tomó pues Moisés y Aarón a estos varones, que fueron declarados por sus nombres:

And Moses and Aaron took these men who are expressed by name:

18 Y juntaron toda la congregación en el primero del mes segundo, y fueron juntados por sus linajes, por las casas de sus padres, por la cuenta de los nombres, de veinte años y arriba, por sus cabezas,

And all the congregation they assembled together on the first day of the second month, and they were enrolled in the lists of their pedigrees after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, according to their polls.

19 Como Jehová lo había mandado a Moisés: y contólos en el desierto de Sinaí.

As the Lord had commanded Moses, so did he number them in the wilderness of Sinai.

20 Y fueron los hijos de Rubén, primogénito de Israel, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, conforme a la cuenta de los nombres por sus cabezas, todos los varones de veinte años y arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra;

And there were of the children of Reuben the first-born of Israel, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names according to their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

21 Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Rubén, cuarenta y seis mil y quinientos.

Those that were numbered of the tribe of Reuben, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.

22 De los hijos de Simeón, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, los contados de él conforme a la cuenta de los nombres por sus cabezas, todos varones de veinte años y arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra;

Of the children of Simeon, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, those that were numbered of them, by numbering the names according to their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

23 Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Simeón, cincuenta y nueve mil y trescientos.

Those that were numbered of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.

24 De los hijos de Gad, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, conforme a la cuenta de los nombres, de veinte años y arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra;

Of the children of Gad, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

25 Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Gad, cuarenta y cinco mil y seiscientos y cincuenta.

Those that were numbered of the tribe of Gad, were forty and five thousand six hundred and fifty.

26 De los hijos de Judá, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, conforme a la cuenta de los nombres, de veinte años y arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra;

Of the children of Judah, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

27 Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Judá, setenta y cuatro mil y seiscientos.

Those that were numbered of the tribe of Judah, were seventy and four thousand and six hundred.

28 De los hijos de Isacar, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, conforme a la cuenta de los nombres, de veinte años y arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra;

Of the children of Issachar, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

29 Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Isacar, cincuenta y cuatro mil y cuatrocientos.

Those that were numbered of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred.

30 De los hijos de Zabulón, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, conforme a la cuenta de los nombres, de veinte años y arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra;

Of the children of Zebulun, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

31 Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Zabulón, cincuenta y siete mil y cuatrocientos.

Those that were numbered of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.

32 De los hijos de José, de los hijos de Efraím, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, conforme a la cuenta de los nombres, de veinte años y arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra;

Of the children of Joseph, namely, of the children of Ephraim, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war.

33 Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Efraím, cuarenta mil y quinientos.

Those that were numbered of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand and five hundred.

34 De los hijos de Manasés, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, conforme a la cuenta de los nombres, de veinte años y arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra;

Of the children of Menasseh, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

35 Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Manasés, treinta y dos mil y doscientos.

Those that were numbered of the tribe of Menasseh, were thirty and two thousand and two hundred.

36 De los hijos de Ben-jamín, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, conforme a la cuenta de los nombres, de veinte años y arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra;

Of the children of Benjamin, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

37 Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Ben-jamín, treinta y cinco mil y cuatrocientos.

Those that were numbered of the tribe of Benjamin, were thirty and five thousand and four hundred.

38 De los hijos de Dan, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, conforme a la cuenta de los nombres, de veinte años y arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra;

Of the children of Dan, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

39 Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Dan, sesenta y dos mil y sietecientos.

Those that were numbered of the tribe of Dan, were sixty and two thousand and seven hundred.

40 De los hijos de Aser, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, conforme a la cuenta de los nombres, de veinte años y arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra;

Of the children of Asher, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

41 Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Aser, cuarenta y un mil y quinientos.

Those that were numbered of the tribe of Asher, were forty and one thousand and five hundred.

42 De los hijos de Neftalí, sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, conforme a la cuenta de los nombres, de veinte años y arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra;

Of the children of Naphtali, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

43 Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Neftalí, cincuenta y tres mil y cuatrocientos.

Those that were numbered of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.

44 Estos fueron los contados, que contó Moisés, y Aarón y los doce varones príncipes de Israel, un varón por casa de sus padres fueron.

These are those that were numbered, whom Moses numbered with Aaron, and the princes of Israel, being twelve men; one man each for his family division were they.

45 Y fueron todos los contados de los hijos de Israel, por las casas de sus padres, de veinte años y arriba, todos los que podían salir a la guerra en Israel;

Thus were all those that were numbered of the children of Israel, by the descent from their fathers, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war in Israel, —

46 Fueron todos los contados seiscientos y tres mil, y quinientos y cincuenta.

Even all they that were numbered, were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.

47 Mas los Levitas no fueron contados entre ellos por la tribu de sus padres.

But the Levites, after the tribe of their fathers, were not numbered among them.

48 Y habló Jehová a Moisés, diciendo:

For the Lord had spoken unto Moses, saying,

49 Empero tú no contarás la tribu de Leví, ni tomarás la cuenta de ellos entre los hijos de Israel.

Only the tribe of Levi shalt thou not number, and their sum shalt thou not take, among the children of Israel;

50 Mas tú pondrás a los Levitas en el tabernáculo del testimonio, y sobre todos sus vasos, y sobre todas las cosas, que les pertenecen: ellos llevarán el tabernáculo y todos sus vasos, y ellos servirán en él, y asentarán sus tiendas al derredor del tabernáculo.

But thou shalt appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of the testimony, and over all its vessels, and over all things that belong to it: they shall carry the tabernacle, and all its vessels; and they shall minister unto it; and round about the tabernacle shall they encamp.

51 Y cuando el tabernáculo partiere, los Levitas lo desarmarán: y cuando el tabernáculo parare, los Levitas lo armarán: y el extraño que se llegare, morirá.

And when the tabernacle is to be carried forward, the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.

52 Y los hijos de Israel asentarán sus tiendas cada uno en su escuadrón, y cada uno junto a su bandera por sus cuadrillas;

And the children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, according to their armies.

53 Mas los Levitas asentarán las suyas al rededor del tabernáculo del testimonio, y no habrá ira sobre la congregación de los hijos de Israel: y los Levitas tendrán la guarda del tabernáculo del testimonio.

But the Levites shall encamp round shout the tabernacle of the testimony, that there be no wrath upon the congregation of the children of Israel: and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of the testimony.

54 E hicieron los hijos de Israel conforme a todas las cosas, que Jehová mandó a Moisés: así lo hicieron.

And the children of Israel did so: all, just as the Lord had commanded Moses, so did they.
