Números 10

1 Y Jehová habló a Moisés, diciendo:

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:

2 Hazte dos trompetas de plata; de obra de martillo las harás, las cuales te servirán para convocar la congregación, y para hacer mover el campo:

Make thee two trumpets of beaten silver, wherewith thou mayest call together the multitude when the camp is to be removed.

3 Y cuando las tocaren, toda la congregación se juntará a ti a la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio.

And when thou shalt sound the trumpets, all the multitude shall gather unto thee to the door of the tabernacle of the covenant.

4 Mas cuando tocaren la una, entonces se congregarán a ti los príncipes, las cabezas de los millares de Israel.

If thou sound but once, the princes and the heads of the multitude of Israel shall come to thee.

5 Y cuando tocareis júbilo, entonces moverá el campo de los que están alojados al oriente.

But if the sound of the trumpets be longer, and with interruptions, they that are on the east side, shall first go forward.

6 Y cuando tocareis júbilo la segunda vez, entonces moverá el campo de los que están alojados al mediodía: júbilo tocarán a sus partidas.

And at the second sounding and like noise of the trumpet, they who lie on the south side shall take up their tents. And after this manner shall the rest do, when the trumpets shall sound for a march.

7 Empero cuando juntareis la congregación, tocaréis, mas no jubilaréis.

But when the people is to be gathered together, the sound of the trumpets shall be plain, and they shall not make a broken sound.

8 Y los hijos de Aarón, los sacerdotes, tocarán las trompetas, y tenerlas heis por estatuto perpetuo por vuestras generaciones.

And the sons of Aaron the priest shall sound the trumpets: and this shall be an ordinance for ever in your generations.

9 Y cuando viniereis a la guerra en vuestra tierra contra el enemigo que os molestare, jubilaréis con las trompetas, y seréis en memoria delante de Jehová vuestro Dios, y seréis salvos de vuestros enemigos.

If you go forth to war out of your land against the enemies that fight against you, you shall sound aloud with the trumpets, and there shall be a remembrance of you before the Lord your God, that you may be delivered out of the hands of your enemies.

10 Ítem, en el día de vuestra alegría, y en vuestras solemnidades, y en los principios de vuestros meses tocaréis las trompetas sobre vuestros holocaustos, y sobre los sacrificios de vuestras paces, y seros han por memoria delante de vuestro Dios: Yo Jehová vuestro Dios.

If at any time you shall have a banquet, and on your festival days, and on the first days of your months, you shall sound the trumpets over the holocausts, and the sacrifices of peace offerings, that they may be to you for a remembrance of your God. I am the Lord your God.

11 Y fue en el año segundo, en el mes segundo a los veinte del mes, que la nube se alzó del tabernáculo del testimonio.

The second year, in the second month, the twentieth day of the month, the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle of the covenant.

12 Y movieron los hijos de Israel por sus partidas del desierto de Sinaí; y paró la nube en el desierto de Farán.

And the children of Israel marched by their troops from the desert of Sinai, and the cloud rested in the wilderness of Pharan.

13 Y movieron la primera vez al dicho de Jehová por mano de Moisés.

And the first went forward according to the commandment of the Lord by the hand of Moses.

14 Y la bandera del campo de los hijos de Judá comenzó a marchar primero por sus escuadrones: y Nahasón, hijo de Aminadab, era sobre su ejército.

The sons of Juda by their troops: whose prince was Nahasson the son of Aminadab.

15 Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Isacar era Natanael hijo de Suar.

In the tribe of the sons of Issachar, the prince was Nathanael the son of Suar.

16 Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Zabulón, Eliab hijo de Helón.

In the tribe of Zabulon, the prince was Eliab the son of Helon.

17 Y el tabernáculo era ya desarmado, y movieron los hijos de Gersón, y los hijos de Merari, que lo llevaban.

And the tabernacle was taken down, and the sons of Gerson and Merari set forward, bearing it.

18 Luego comenzó a marchar la bandera del campo de Rubén por sus escuadrones: y Elisur, hijo de Sedeur, era sobre su ejército.

And the sons of Ruben also marched, by their troops and ranks, whose prince was Helisur the son of Sedeur.

19 Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Simeón era Salamiel hijo de Surisaddai.

And in the tribe of Simeon, the prince was Salamiel the son of Surisaddai.

20 Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Gad, Eliasaf hijo de Dehuel.

And in the tribe of Cad, the prince was Eliasaph the son of Duel.

21 Luego comenzaron a marchar los Caatitas llevando el santuario: y entre tanto que ellos llegaban asentaron el tabernáculo.

Then the Caathites also marched carrying the sanctuary. So long was the tabernacle carried, till they same to the place of setting it up.

22 Después comenzó a marchar la bandera del campo de los hijos de Efraím por sus escuadrones: y Elisama, hijo de Ammiud, era sobre su ejército.

The sons of Ephraim also moved their camp by their troops, in whose army the prince was Elisama the son of Ammiud.

23 Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Manasés, Gamaliel hijo de Fadassur.

And in the tribe of the sons of Manasses, the prince was Gamaliel the son of Phadassur.

24 Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Ben-jamín, Abidam hijo de Gedeón.

And in the tribe of Benjamin, the prince was Abidan the son of Gedeon.

25 Luego comenzó a marchar la bandera del campo de los hijos de Dan por sus escuadrones recogiendo todos los campos: y Ahiezer, hijo de Ammisaddai, era sobre su ejército.

The last of all the camp marched the sons of Dan by their troops, in whose army the prince was Ahiezer the son of Ammisaddai.

26 Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Aser, Fegiel hijo de Ocrán.

And in the tribe of the sons of Aser, the prince was Phegiel the son of Ochran.

27 Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Neftalí, Ahira hijo de Enán.

And in the tribe of the sons of Nephtali, the prince was Ahira the son of Enan.

28 Estas son las partidas de los hijos de Israel por sus ejércitos: y así se partieron.

This was the order of the camps, and marches of the children of Israel by their troops, when they set forward.

29 Entonces Moisés dijo a Hobab hijo de Raguel Madianita su suegro: Nosotros nos partimos para el lugar del cual Jehová ha dicho: Yo os lo daré. Ven con nosotros, y hacerte hemos bien; porque Jehová ha hablado bien sobre Israel.

And Moses said to Hobab the son of Raguel the Madianite, his kinsman: We are going towards the place which the Lord will give us: come with us, that we may do thee good: for the Lord hath promised good things to Israel.

30 Y él le respondió: Yo no vendré, antes me iré a mi tierra, y a mi parentela.

But he answered him: I will not go with thee, but I will return to my country, wherein I was born.

31 Y él le dijo: Ruégote que no nos dejes, porque tú sabes nuestros alojamientos en el desierto, y nos serás en lugar de ojos.

And he said: Do not leave us: for thou knowest in what places we should encamp in the wilderness, and thou shalt be our guide.

32 Y será, que si vinieres con nosotros, cuando hubiéremos el bien que Jehová nos ha de hacer, nosotros te haremos bien.

And if thou comest with us, we will give thee what is the best of the riches which the Lord shall deliver to us.

33 Así partieron del monte de Jehová camino de tres días, y el arca del concierto de Jehová fue delante de ellos camino de tres días buscándoles reposo.

So they marched from the mount of the Lord three days’ journey, and the ark of the covenant of the Lord went before them, for three days providing a place for the camp.

34 Y la nube de Jehová iba sobre ellos de día desde que partieron del campo.

The cloud also of the Lord was over them by day when they marched.

35 Y fue, que en moviendo el arca, Moisés decía: Levántate Jehová, y sean disipados tus enemigos, y huyan delante de tu rostro los que te aborrecen.

And when the ark was lifted up, Moses said: Arise, O Lord, and let thy enemies be scattered, and let them that hate thee, flee from before thy face.

36 Y en asentando ella, decía: Vuelve Jehová a los millares de los millares de Israel.

And when it was set down, he said: Return, O Lord, to the multitude of the host of Israel.
