Nehemías 12

1 Y estos son los sacerdotes y los Levitas que subieron con Zorobabel, hijo de Salatiel, y con Jesuá: Saraías, Jeremías, Ésdras,

Now these are the priests and the Levites that went up with Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra;

2 Amarías, Malluc, Hattus,

Amariah, Malluch, Hattush;

3 Sequanías, Rehum, Meremot,

Shecaniah, Rehum, Meremoth;

4 Iddo, Gineto, Abías,

Iddo, Ginnethoi, Abijah;

5 Mijamín, Maadias, Bilga,

Mijamin, Maadiah, Bilgah;

6 Samaías, y Joiarib, Jedaias,

Shemaiah, and Joiarib, Jedaiah;

7 Sellum, Amoc, Hilcías, Jedaias. Estos eran príncipes de los sacerdotes y sus hermanos en los días de Jesuá.

Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah. These were the chiefs of the priests and their brethren in the days of Jeshua.

8 Y los Levitas fueron Jesuá, Binnui, Cadmiel, Serebías, Judá, Matanías, sobre los himnos, y sus hermanos.

Moreover the Levites: Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, and Mattaniah, who was over the thanksgiving, he and his brethren.

9 Y Bacbucías, y Unni, sus hermanos, delante de ellos en las guardas.

Also Bakbukiah and Unni, their brethren, were over against them in wards.

10 Y Jesuá engendró a Joiacim, y Joiacim engendró a Eliasib, y Eliasib engendró a Joiada,

And Jeshua begot Joiakim, and Joiakim begot Eliashib, and Eliashib begot Joiada,

11 Y Joiada engendró a Jonatán, y Jonatán engendró a Jaddua.

and Joiada begot Jonathan and Jonathan begot Jaddua.

12 Y en los días de Joiacim fueron los sacerdotes cabezas de familias: a Seraias, Meraias; a Jeremías, Jananias;

And in the days of Joiakim were priests, heads of fathers' houses: of Seraiah, Meraiah; of Jeremiah, Hananiah;

13 A Ésdras, Mesullam; a Amarías, Johanán;

of Ezra, Meshullam; of Amariah, Jehohanan;

14 A Melicú, Jonatán; a Sequanías, José;

of Melicu, Jonathan; of Shebaniah, Joseph;

15 A Harim, Adna; a Meraiot, Helcai;

of Harim, Adna; of Meraioth, Helkai;

16 A Iddo, Zacarías; a Ginnetón, Mesullam;

of Iddo, Zechariah; of Ginnethon, Meshullam;

17 A Abiias, Ziqui; a Minjamín, Moadias, Piltai;

of Abijah, Zichri; of Miniamin; of Moadiah, Piltai;

18 A Bilga, Sammua; a Semaías, Jonatán;

of Bilgah, Shammua; of Shemaiah, Jehonathan;

19 A Joiarib, Matenai; a Jedaias, Uzzi;

and of Joiarib, Mattenai; of Jedaiah, Uzzi;

20 A Sellai, Callai; a Amoc, Eber;

of Sallai, Kallai; of Amok, Eber;

21 A Hilcías, Hasabías; a Jedaias, Natanael.

of Hilkiah, Hashabiah; of Jedaiah, Nethanel.

22 Los Levitas en los días de Eliasib, de Joiada, y de Johanán, y de Jaddua fueron escritos cabezas de familias: y los sacerdotes, hasta el reinado de Darío el Persa.

The Levites in the days of Eliashib, Joiada, and Johanan, and Jaddua, were recorded heads of fathers' houses; also the priests, in the reign of Darius the Persian.

23 Los hijos de Leví, que fueron escritos cabezas de familias en el libro de las crónicas hasta los días de Johanán, hijo de Eliasib:

The sons of Levi, heads of fathers' houses, were written in the book of the chronicles, even until the days of Johanan the son of Eliashib.

24 Las cabezas de los Levitas fueron Hasabías, Serebías, y Jesuá, hijo de Cadmiel, y sus hermanos, delante de ellos, para alabar y para glorificar, conforme al estatuto de David varón de Dios, guarda contra guarda.

And the chiefs of the Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua the son of Kadmiel, with their brethren over against them, to praise and give thanks, according to the commandment of David the man of God, ward against ward.

25 Matanías, y Bacbucías, Abdías, Mosollam, Talmón, Accub, guardas, porteros en la guarda en las entradas de las puertas.

Mattaniah, and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub, were porters keeping the ward at the store-houses of the gates.

26 Estos fueron en los días de Joiacim, hijo de Jesuá, hijo de Josedec, y en los días de Nehemías capitán, y de Ésdras sacerdote, escriba.

These were in the days of Joiakim the son of Jeshua, the son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the governor, and of Ezra the priest the scribe.

27 Y en la dedicación del muro de Jerusalem buscaron a los Levitas de todos sus lugares, para traerlos a Jerusalem, para hacer la dedicación y la alegría con alabanzas y con cantar, con címbalos, salterios, y cítaras.

And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to keep the dedication with gladness, both with thanksgivings, and with singing, with cymbals, psalteries, and with harps.

28 Y fueron congregados los hijos de los cantores, así de la campiña al rededor de Jerusalem, como de las aldeas de Netofati,

And the sons of the singers gathered themselves together, both out of the Plain round about Jerusalem, and from the villages of the Netophathites;

29 Y de la casa de Gálgala, y de los campos de Geba, y de Azmavet: porque los cantores se habían edificado aldeas al derredor de Jerusalem.

also from Beth-gilgal, and out of the fields of Geba and Azmaveth; for the singers had builded them villages round about Jerusalem.

30 Y fueron purificados los sacerdotes y los Levitas, y purificaron al pueblo, y las puertas, y el muro.

And the priests and the Levites purified themselves; and they purified the people, and the gates, and the wall.

31 E hice subir a los príncipes de Judá sobre el muro, y puse dos coros grandes, y procesiones, la una iba a la mano derecha sobre el muro hacia la puerta del muladar.

Then I brought up the princes of Judah upon the wall, and appointed two great companies that gave thanks and went in procession: on the right hand upon the wall toward the dung gate;

32 E iba tras de ellos Osaías, y la mitad de los príncipes de Judá,

and after them went Hoshaiah, and half of the princes of Judah;

33 Y Azarías, Ésdras, y Mesullam,

and Azariah, Ezra, and Meshullam,

34 Judá, y Ben-jamín, y Semaías, y Jeremías.

Judah, and Benjamin, and Shemaiah, and Jeremiah;

35 Y de los hijos de los sacerdotes con trompetas; Zacarías, hijo de Jonatán, hijo de Semaías, hijo de Matanías, hijo de Micaias, hijo de Zacur, hijo de Asaf,

and certain of the priests' sons with trumpets: Zechariah the son of Jonathan, the son of Shemaiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micaiah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Asaph;

36 Y sus hermanos Semaías, y Azarael, Milalai, Gilelai, Maai, Natanael, y Judá, Janani, con los instrumentos músicos de David varón de Dios; y Ésdras escriba delante de ellos.

and his brethren, Shemaiah, and Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanel, and Judah, Hanani, with the musical instruments of David the man of God; and Ezra the scribe was before them;

37 Y a la puerta de la fuente, y delante de ellos, subieron por las gradas de la ciudad de David, por la subida del muro, desde la casa de David hasta la puerta de las aguas al oriente.

and by the fountain gate, and straight before them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the going up of the wall, above the house of David, even unto the water gate eastward.

38 Y el segundo coro iba al contrario, y yo en pos de él, y la mitad del pueblo, sobre el muro, desde la torre de los hornos hasta el muro ancho;

And the other company of them that gave thanks went to meet them, and I after them, with the half of the people, upon the wall, above the tower of the furnaces, even unto the broad wall;

39 Y desde la puerta de Efraím hasta la puerta vieja, y a la puerta de los peces, y la torre de Hananeel, y la torre de Emat hasta la puerta de las ovejas: y pararon en la puerta de la cárcel.

and above the gate of Ephraim, and by the gate of the old city and by the fish gate, and the tower of Hananel, and the tower of Hammeah, even unto the sheep gate; and they stood still in the gate of the guard.

40 Y pararon los dos coros en la casa de Dios: y yo, y la mitad de los magistrados conmigo:

So stood the two companies of them that gave thanks in the house of God, and I, and the half of the rulers with me;

41 Y los sacerdotes Eliacim, Maasías, Minjamín, Micaias, Elioenai, Zacarías, Jananías, con trompetas;

and the priests, Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Micaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, with trumpets;

42 Y Maasías, y Semeías, y Eleazar, y Uzzi, y Johanán, y Malquías, y Elam, y Ezer: e hicieron oír su voz los cantores, y Jezraia el prepósito.

and Maaseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Uzzi, and Jehohanan, and Malchijah, and Elam, and Ezer. And the singers sang loud, with Jezrahiah their overseer.

43 Y sacrificaron aquel día grandes víctimas, e hicieron alegrías; porque Dios los había alegrado de grande alegría: y aun también las mujeres y los muchachos se alegraron, y la alegría de Jerusalem fue oída lejos.

And they offered great sacrifices that day, and rejoiced; for God had made them rejoice with great joy; and the women also and the children rejoiced; so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.

44 Y fueron puestos en aquel día varones sobre las cámaras de los tesoros, de las ofrendas, de las primicias, y de las décimas, para juntar en ellas de los campos de las ciudades las porciones legales para los sacerdotes, y para los Levitas: porque la alegría de Judá era sobre los sacerdotes y Levitas que asistían.

And on that day were men appointed over the chambers for the treasures, for the heave-offerings, for the first-fruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them, according to the fields of the cities, the portions appointed by the law for the priests and Levites; for Judah rejoiced for the priests and for the Levites that took their stations.

45 Y guardaban la observancia de su Dios, y la observancia de la expiación, y los cantores, y los porteros, conforme al estatuto de David, y de Salomón su hijo.

And they kept the ward of their God, and the ward of the purification, and so did the singers and the porters, according to the commandment of David, and of Solomon his son.

46 Porque desde el tiempo de David y de Asaf, y de antes, había príncipes de cantores, y cántico, y alabanza, y acción de gracias a Dios.

For in the days of David and Asaph of old there were chief of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving unto God.

47 Y todo Israel en los días de Zorobabel, y en días de Nehemías daba raciones a los cantores, y a los porteros, cada cosa en su día: y santificaban a los Levitas, y los Levitas santificaban a los hijos de Aarón.

And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, gave the portions of the singers and the porters, as every day required; and they hallowed for the Levites; and the Levites hallowed for the sons of Aaron.
