San Mateo 13
1 Y aquel día, saliendo Jesús de casa, se sentó junto a la mar.
The same day Jesus went out of the house, and sat by the shore of the lake;
2 Y se allegaron a él grandes multitudes; y entrándose él en una nave, se sentó, y toda la multitud estaba en la ribera.
and great multitudes were gathered together to him, so that he went into a boat, and sat down; and all the multitude stood on the beach.
3 Y les habló muchas cosas por parábolas, diciendo: He aquí, el que sembraba salió a sembrar.
And he spoke many things to them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow.
4 Y sembrando, parte de la simiente cayó junto al camino, y vinieron las aves, y la comieron.
And as he sowed, some seeds fell by the wayside; and the birds came and devoured them.
5 Y parte cayó en pedregales, donde no tenía mucha tierra; y nació luego, porque no tenía tierra profunda:
And others fell upon rocky places, where they had not much earth; and they sprung up immediately, because they had no depth of earth.
6 Mas en saliendo el sol, se quemó, y se secó, porque no tenía raíz.
But when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.
7 Y parte cayó entre espinas, y las espinas crecieron, y la ahogaron.
And others fell among thorns; and the thorns grew up, and choked them.
8 Y parte cayó en buena tierra, y dio fruto; uno de a ciento, y otro de a sesenta, y otro de a treinta.
And others fell upon good ground; and yielded fruit, some a hundred fold, some Sixty, some thirty fold.
9 Quien tiene oídos para oír, oiga.
He that hath ears, let him hear.
10 Entonces llegándose los discípulos, le dijeron: ¿Por qué les hablas por parábolas?
And the disciples came and said to him, Why dost thou speak to them in parables?
11 Y él respondiendo, les dijo: Porque a vosotros es concedido saber los misterios del reino de los cielos, mas a ellos no es concedido.
He answered and said, Because to you it hath been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven; but to them it hath not been given.
12 Porque a cualquiera que tiene, se le dará, y tendrá más; mas al que no tiene, aun lo que tiene le será quitado.
For whoever hath, to him will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever hath not, from him will be taken away even what he hath.
13 Por eso les hablo por parábolas; porque viendo no ven, y oyendo no oyen, ni entienden.
Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they see not, and hearing they hear not, nor understand.
14 De manera que se cumple en ellos la profecía de Isaías, que dice: De oído oiréis, y no entenderéis; y viendo veréis, y no percibiréis.
And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which saith, “Ye will hear indeed, and not understand; and ye will see indeed, and not perceive.
15 Porque el corazón de este pueblo está engrosado, y de los oídos oyen pesadamente, y de sus ojos guiñan; para que no vean de los ojos, y oigan de los oídos, y del corazón entiendan, y se conviertan, y yo los sane.
For this people's heart hath become gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and turn from their ways, and I should heal them.”
16 Mas bienaventurados vuestros ojos, porque ven; y vuestros oídos, porque oyen.
But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear.
17 Porque de cierto os digo, que muchos profetas y justos desearon ver lo que vosotros veis, y no lo vieron; y oír lo que vosotros oís, y no lo oyeron.
Truly do I say to you, that many prophets and righteous men desired to see the things which ye see, and did not see them; and to hear the things which ye hear, and did not hear them.
18 Oíd pues vosotros la parábola del que siembra.
Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.
19 Oyendo cualquiera la palabra del reino, y no entendiéndo la, viene el Malo, y arrebata lo que fue sembrado en su corazón. Este es el que fue sembrado junto al camino.
When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, the Evil One cometh, and snatcheth away that which was sown in his heart; this man is what was sown by the wayside.
20 Y el que fue sembrado en pedregales, éste es el que oye la palabra, y luego la recibe con gozo.
And what was sown on the rocky places, this is he that heareth the word, and immediately receiveth it with joy,
21 Mas no tiene raíz en sí, antes es temporal; porque venida la aflicción o la persecución por la palabra, luego se ofende.
but, having no root within him, endureth only for a time; and when tribulation or persecution ariseth on account of the word, he immediately falleth away.
22 Y el que fue sembrado en espinas, éste es el que oye la palabra; mas la congoja de este siglo y el engaño de las riquezas ahogan la palabra, y viene a quedar sin fruto. (aiōn g165)
And what was sown among the thorns, this is he that heareth the word, but the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. (aiōn g165)
23 Mas el que fue sembrado en buena tierra, éste es el que oye y entiende la palabra, el que también da el fruto; y lleva uno a ciento, y otro a sesenta, y otro a treinta.
And what was sown on the good ground, this is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; who also beareth fruit, and yieldeth, one a hundred fold, another sixty, another thirty fold.
24 Otra parábola les propuso, diciendo: El reino de los cielos es semejante a un hombre que siembra buena simiente en su campo.
Another parable he put forth to them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field.
25 Mas durmiendo los hombres, vino su enemigo, y sembró cizaña entre el trigo, y se fue.
But while men slept, his enemy came, and sowed tares among the wheat; and went away.
26 Y como la yerba salió, e hizo fruto, entonces la cizaña apareció también.
But when the blade grew up, and put forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
27 Y llegándose los siervos del padre de familias, le dijeron: Señor, ¿no sembraste buena simiente en tu campo? ¿Pues de donde tiene cizaña?
So the servants of the householder came and said to him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? Whence then hath it tares?
28 Y él les dijo: Algún enemigo ha hecho esto. Y los siervos le dijeron: ¿Pues quieres que vayamos, y la cojamos?
He said to them, An enemy did this. The servants say to him, Dost thou wish then that we go and gather them up?
29 Y él dijo: No; porque cogiendo la cizaña, no arranquéis también con ella el trigo.
But he said, Nay; lest, while ye gather up the tares, ye root up the wheat with them.
30 Dejád crecer juntamente lo uno y lo otro hasta la siega; y al tiempo de la siega yo diré a los segadores: Cogéd primero la cizaña, y atádla en manojos para quemarla; mas el trigo allegádlo en mi alfolí.
Let both grow together until the harvest; and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather up first the tares, and bind them in bundles, to burn them; but gather the wheat into my barn.
31 Otra parábola les propuso, diciendo: El reino de los cielos es semejante al grano de mostaza, que tomándolo alguno lo sembró en su campo:
Another parable he put forth to them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard, which a man took and sowed in his field.
32 El cual a la verdad es el más pequeño de todas las simientes; mas cuando ha crecido, es el mayor de todas las hortalizas; y se hace árbol, que vienen las aves del cielo, y hacen nidos en sus ramas.
Which is the least indeed of all seeds; but when it is grown, it is greater than the herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in its branches.
33 Otra parábola les dijo: El reino de los cielos es semejante a la levadura, que tomándola una mujer, la esconde en tres medidas de harina, hasta que todo se leude.
Another parable he spoke to them: The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
34 Todo esto habló Jesús por parábolas a la multitud; y nada les habló sin parábolas;
All these things Jesus spoke to the multitudes in parables, and without a parable he spoke nothing to them;
35 Para que se cumpliese lo que fue dicho por el profeta, que dijo: Abriré en parábolas mi boca: rebosaré cosas escondidas desde la fundación del mundo.
that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophet Isaiah, saying, “I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden from the foundation [[of the world]].”
36 Entonces, enviadas las multitudes, Jesús se vino a casa; y llegándose a él sus discípulos, le dijeron: Decláranos la parábola de la cizaña del campo.
Then he sent the multitudes away, and went into the house. And his disciples came to him, saying, Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field.
37 Y respondiendo él, les dijo: El que siembra la buena simiente es el Hijo del hombre.
He answered and said, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man.
38 El campo es el mundo; la buena simiente son los hijos del reino; y la cizaña son los hijos del Malo;
The field is the world; the good seed is the sons of the kingdom; but the tares are the sons of the Evil One;
39 El enemigo que la sembró, es el diablo; la siega es el fin del mundo; y los segadores son los ángeles. (aiōn g165)
the enemy that sowed them is the Devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are angels. (aiōn g165)
40 De manera que como es cogida la cizaña, y quemada a fuego, así será en el fin de este siglo. (aiōn g165)
As therefore the tares are gathered up and burned with fire, so will it be at the end of the world. (aiōn g165)
41 Enviará el Hijo del hombre sus ángeles, y cogerán de su reino todos los estorbos, y los que hacen iniquidad;
The Son of man will send forth his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all the stumbling-blocks, and those who do iniquity,
42 Y los echarán en el horno de fuego: allí será el lloro, y el crujir de dientes.
and will cast them into the furnace of fire; there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
43 Entonces los justos resplandecerán, como el sol, en el reino de su Padre. El que tiene oídos para oír, oiga.
Then will the righteous shine forth as the sun, in the kingdom of their Father. He that hath ears, let him hear.
44 También el reino de los cielos es semejante al tesoro escondido en un campo, el cual hallado, el hombre lo encubre; y de gozo de él, va, y vende todo lo que tiene, y compra aquel campo.
The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hid in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy thereof he goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
45 Asimismo el reino de los cielos es semejante a un hombre tratante, que busca buenas perlas:
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking goodly pearls.
46 Que hallando una preciosa perla, fue, y vendió todo lo que tenía, y la compró.
And having found one pearl of great price, he went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
47 También el reino de los cielos es semejante a una red, que echada en la mar, coge de todas suertes:
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net, cast into the sea, and bringing together fish of every kind;
48 La cual siendo llena, la sacaron a la orilla; y sentados cogieron lo bueno en vasijas, y lo malo echaron fuera.
which, when it was full, they drew upon the beach, and sat down and gathered the good into vessels, but threw the bad away.
49 Así será en el fin del siglo: saldrán los ángeles, y apartarán a los malos de entre los justos, (aiōn g165)
So will it be at the end of the world. The angels will come forth, and separate the wicked from among the righteous, (aiōn g165)
50 Y los echarán en el horno del fuego: allí será el lloro, y el crujir de dientes.
and will cast them into the furnace of fire; there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
51 Díceles Jesús: ¿Habéis entendido todas estas cosas? Ellos responden: Si, Señor.
Did ye understand all these things? They say to him, Yea.
52 Y él les dijo: Por eso todo escriba docto en el reino de los cielos es semejante a un padre de familia, que saca de su tesoro cosas nuevas y cosas viejas.
And he said to them, Thus then every scribe, instructed for the kingdom of heaven, is like a householder, who bringeth out from his storehouse things new and old.
53 Y aconteció que acabando Jesús estas parábolas, pasó de allí.
And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these parables, that he departed thence.
54 Y venido a su tierra, les enseñó en la sinagoga de ellos, de tal manera que ellos estaban fuera de sí, y decían: ¿De dónde tiene éste esta sabiduría, y estas maravillas?
And having come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and the miracles?
55 ¿No es éste el hijo del carpintero? ¿No se llama su madre María; y sus hermanos, Santiago, y Joses, y Simón, y Júdas?
Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary, and his brothers, James, and Joseph, and Simon, and Judas?
56 ¿Y no están todas sus hermanas con nosotros? ¿De dónde pues tiene éste todo esto?
And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?
57 Y se escandalizaban en él; mas Jesús les dijo: No hay profeta sin honra, sino en su tierra, y en su casa.
And they took offence at him. But Jesus said to them, A prophet is not without honor, except in his own country, and in his own house.
58 Y no hizo allí muchas maravillas, a causa de la incredulidad de ellos.
And he did not work many miracles there, because of their unbelief.
