Marcos 7
1 Y se juntaron a él los Fariseos, y algunos de los escribas que habían venido de Jerusalem.
Then the Pharisees and some of the scribes gathered together to him, having come from Jerusalem.
2 Los cuales viendo a algunos de sus discípulos comer pan con manos comunes, es a saber, por lavar, los condenaban.
Now when they saw some of his disciples eating bread with defiled, that is unwashed, hands, they found fault.
3 Porque los Fariseos, y todos los Judíos, teniendo la tradición de los ancianos, si muchas veces no se lavan las manos, no comen;
(For the Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they wash their hands and forearms, holding to the tradition of the elders.
4 Y volviendo de la plaza, si no se lavaren, no comen; y otras muchas cosas hay que han recibido para guardar, como el lavar de las copas, y de los jarros, y de los vasos de metal, y de los lechos.
They do not eat when they come from the marketplace unless they bathe themselves, and there are many other things which they have received to hold to: washings of cups, pitchers, bronze vessels, and couches.)
5 Y le preguntaron los Fariseos y los escribas: ¿Por qué tus discípulos no andan conforme a la tradición de los ancianos, mas comen pan con las manos por lavar?
The Pharisees and the scribes asked him, “Why do not your disciples walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat their bread with unwashed hands?”
6 Y respondiendo él, les dijo: Hipócritas, bien profetizó de vosotros Isaías, como está escrito: Este pueblo con los labios me honra, mas su corazón lejos está de mí.
He answered them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, ‘This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
7 Mas en vano me honran, enseñando como doctrinas, mandamientos de hombres.
They worship me in vain, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’
8 Porque dejando el mandamiento de Dios, tenéis la tradición de los hombres: como el lavar de los jarros, y de las copas; y hacéis muchas otras cosas semejantes a estas.
“For you set aside the commandment of God, and hold tightly to the tradition of men—the washing of pitchers and cups, and you do many other such things.”
9 Les decía también: Bien invalidáis el mandamiento de Dios para guardar vuestra tradición.
He said to them, “Full well do you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition.
10 Porque Moisés dijo: Honra a tu padre y a tu madre; y: El que maldijere al padre o a la madre muera de muerte.
For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother;’ and, ‘He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him be put to death.’
11 Y vosotros decís: Si el hombre dijere a su padre o a su madre: El Corbán (que quiere decir, don mío) a ti aprovechará; quedará libre.
But you say, ‘If a man tells his father or his mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me is Corban,”’” that is to say, given to God,
12 Y no le dejáis más hacer nada por su padre, o por su madre;
“then you no longer allow him to do anything for his father or his mother,
13 Invalidando la palabra de Dios con vuestra tradición que disteis; y muchas cosas hacéis semejantes a estas.
making void the word of God by your tradition which you have handed down. You do many things like this.”
14 Y llamando a toda la multitud, les dijo: Oídme todos, y entendéd.
He called all the multitude to himself and said to them, “Hear me, all of you, and understand.
15 Nada hay fuera del hombre que entrando en él, le pueda contaminar; mas lo que sale de él, aquello es lo que contamina al hombre.
There is nothing from outside of the man that going into him can defile him; but the things which proceed out of the man are those that defile the man.
16 Si alguno tiene oídos para oír, oiga.
If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear!”
17 Y entrándose, dejada la multitud, en casa, le preguntaron sus discípulos de la parábola.
When he had entered into a house away from the multitude, his disciples asked him about the parable.
18 Y les dice: ¿Así también vosotros sois sin entendimiento? ¿No entendéis que todo lo de fuera que entra en el hombre, no le puede contaminar?
He said to them, “Are you also without understanding? Do not you perceive that whatever goes into the man from outside cannot defile him,
19 Porque no entra en su corazón, sino en el vientre; y sale a la secreta, purgando todas las viandas.
because it does not go into his heart, but into his stomach, then into the latrine, making all foods clean?”
20 Y decía: Lo que del hombre sale, aquello contamina al hombre.
He said, “That which proceeds out of the man, that defiles the man.
21 Porque de dentro, del corazón de los hombres, salen los malos pensamientos, los adulterios, las fornicaciones, los homicidios,
For from within, out of the hearts of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, sexual sins, murders, thefts,
22 Los hurtos, las avaricias, las maldades, el engaño, la lujuria, el ojo maligno, la blasfemia, la soberbia, la insensatez.
covetings, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, and foolishness.
23 Todas estas maldades de dentro salen, y contaminan al hombre.
All these evil things come from within and defile the man.”
24 Y levantándose de allí, se fue a los términos de Tiro y de Sidón, y entrando en casa quiso que nadie lo supiese; mas no pudo esconderse.
From there he arose and went away into the borders of Tyre and Sidon. He entered into a house and did not want anyone to know it, but he could not escape notice.
25 Porque una mujer, cuya hija tenía un espíritu inmundo, luego que oyó de él vino, y se echó a sus pies.
For a woman whose little daughter had an unclean spirit, having heard of him, came and fell down at his feet.
26 Y la mujer era Griega, Sirofenisa de nación, y le rogaba que echase fuera de su hija al demonio.
Now the woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by race. She begged him that he would cast the demon out of her daughter.
27 Mas Jesús le dijo: Deja primero hartarse los hijos; porque no es bien tomar el pan de los hijos, y echar lo a los perros.
But Jesus said to her, “Let the children be filled first, for it is not appropriate to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.”
28 Y respondió ella, y le dijo: Si, Señor, pero los perros debajo de la mesa comen de las migajas de los hijos.
But she answered him, “Yes, Lord. Yet even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.”
29 Entonces le dice: Por esta palabra, vé: el demonio ha salido de tu hija.
He said to her, “For this saying, go your way. The demon has gone out of your daughter.”
30 Y como fue a su casa, halló que el demonio había salido, y a la hija echada sobre la cama.
She went away to her house, and found the child having been laid on the bed, with the demon gone out.
31 Y volviendo a salir de los términos de Tiro y de Sidón, vino a la mar de Galilea por en medio de los términos de Decápolis.
Again he departed from the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and came to the sea of Galilee through the middle of the region of Decapolis.
32 Y le traen un sordo y tartamudo, y le ruegan que le ponga la mano encima.
They brought to him one who was deaf and had an impediment in his speech. They begged him to lay his hand on him.
33 Y tomándole de la multitud aparte, metió sus dedos en las orejas de él, y escupiendo tocó su lengua.
He took him aside from the multitude privately and put his fingers into his ears; and he spat and touched his tongue.
34 Y mirando al cielo gimió, y dijo: Ephphatha; es decir: Sé abierto.
Looking up to heaven, he sighed, and said to him, “Ephphatha!” that is, “Be opened!”
35 Y luego fueron abiertos sus oídos; y fue desatada la ligadura de su lengua, y hablaba bien.
Immediately his ears were opened, and the impediment of his tongue was released, and he spoke clearly.
36 Y les mandó que no lo dijesen a nadie; mas cuanto más les mandaba, tanto más y más lo divulgaban;
He commanded them that they should tell no one, but the more he commanded them, so much the more widely they proclaimed it.
37 Y en grande manera se espantaban, diciendo: Bien lo ha hecho todo: hace a los sordos oír, y a los mudos hablar.
They were astonished beyond measure, saying, “He has done all things well. He makes even the deaf hear and the mute speak!”
