San Lucas 22
1 Y estaba cerca el día de la fiesta de los panes sin levadura, que se llama la pascua.
Now the feast of vnleauened bread drewe neere, which is called the Passeouer.
2 Y los príncipes de los sacerdotes, y los escribas procuraban como le matarían; mas tenían miedo del pueblo.
And the hie Priests and Scribes sought how they might kill him: for they feared the people.
3 Y entró Satanás en Júdas, que tenía por sobrenombre Iscariote, el cual era uno del número de los doce.
Then entred Satan into Iudas, who was called Iscariot, and was of the nomber of the twelue.
4 Y fue, y habló con los príncipes de los sacerdotes, y con los magistrados, de como se le entregaría.
And he went his way, and communed with the hie Priestes and captaines, how he might betray him to them.
5 Los cuales se holgaron, y concertaron de darle dinero.
So they were glad, and agreed to giue him money.
6 Y prometió; y buscaba oportunidad para entregarle a ellos sin estar presente la multitud.
And he consented, and sought opportunitie to betraye him vnto them, when the people were away.
7 Y vino el día de los panes sin levadura, en el cual era menester matar la pascua.
Then came the day of vnleauened bread, when the Passeouer must be sacrificed.
8 Y envió a Pedro, y a Juan, diciendo: Id, aparejádnos la pascua, para que comamos.
And he sent Peter and Iohn, saying, Go and prepare vs the Passeouer, that we may eate it.
9 Y ellos le dijeron: ¿Dónde quieres que la aparejemos?
And they saide to him, Where wilt thou, that we prepare it?
10 Y él les dijo: He aquí, como entraréis en la ciudad, os encontrará un hombre que lleva un cántaro de agua: seguídle hasta la casa donde entrare;
Then he said vnto them, Beholde, when ye be entred into the citie, there shall a man meete you, bearing a pitcher of water: folowe him into the house that he entreth in,
11 Y decíd al padre de la familia de la casa: El Maestro te dice: ¿Dónde está el aposento donde tengo de comer la pascua con mis discípulos?
And say vnto the good man of the house, The Master saith vnto thee, Where is the lodging where I shall eate my Passeouer with my disciples?
12 Entonces él os mostrará un gran cenadero aderezado, aparejád la allí.
Then he shall shewe you a great hie chamber trimmed: there make it ready.
13 Y yendo ellos halláronlo todo como les había dicho; y aparejaron la pascua.
So they went, and found as he had said vnto them, and made readie the Passeouer.
14 Y como fue hora, se sentó a la mesa; y con él los doce apóstoles.
And when the houre was come, hee sate downe, and the twelue Apostles with him.
15 Y les dijo: Con deseo he deseado comer con vosotros esta pascua antes que padezca.
Then he saide vnto them, I haue earnestly desired to eate this Passeouer with you, before I suffer.
16 Porque os digo, que no comeré más de ella, hasta que sea cumplido en el reino de Dios.
For I say vnto you, Hencefoorth I will not eate of it any more, vntill it bee fulfilled in the kingdome of God.
17 Y tomando la copa, habiendo hecho gracias, dijo: Tomád esto, y distribuíd lo entre vosotros.
And hee tooke the cup, and gaue thankes, and said, Take this, and deuide it among you,
18 Porque os digo, que no beberé del fruto de la vid, hasta que el reino de Dios venga.
For I say vnto you, I will not drinke of the fruite of the vine, vntill the kingdome of God be come.
19 Y tomando pan, habiendo hecho gracias, lo rompió, y les dio, diciendo: éste es mi cuerpo, que por vosotros es dado; hacéd esto en memoria de mí.
And he tooke bread, and when he had giuen thankes, he brake it, and gaue to them, saying, This is my body, which is giuen for you: doe this in the remembrance of me.
20 Asimismo también la copa, después que hubo cenado, diciendo: Esta copa es el nuevo testamento en mi sangre, que por vosotros se derrama.
Likewise also after supper he tooke the cup, saying, This cup is that newe Testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
21 Con todo eso, he aquí, la mano del que me entrega está conmigo en la mesa.
Yet beholde, the hand of him that betrayeth me, is with me at the table.
22 Y a la verdad el Hijo del hombre va según lo que está determinado; empero ¡ay de aquel hombre por el cual es entregado!
And truely the Sonne of man goeth as it is appointed: but woe be to that man, by whom he is betrayed.
23 Ellos entonces comenzaron a preguntar entre sí, cual de ellos sería el que había de hacer esto.
Then they began to enquire among themselues which of them it should be, that should do that.
24 Y hubo también entre ellos una contienda, quién de ellos parecía ser el mayor.
And there arose also a strife among them, which of them should seeme to be ye greatest.
25 Entonces él les dijo: Los reyes de las naciones se enseñorean de ellas; y los que sobre ellas tienen potestad, son llamados bienhechores:
But hee saide vnto them, The Kings of the Gentiles reigne ouer them, and they that beare rule ouer them, are called bountifull.
26 Mas vosotros, no así: antes el que es mayor entre vosotros, sea como el más mozo; y el que precede, como el que sirve.
But yee shall not be so: but let the greatest among you be as the least: and the chiefest as he that serueth.
27 Porque ¿cuál es mayor, el que se asienta a la mesa, o el que sirve? ¿No es el que se asienta a la mesa? mas yo soy entre vosotros como el que sirve.
For who is greater, he that sitteth at table, or he that serueth? Is not he that sitteth at table? And I am among you as he that serueth.
28 Empero vosotros sois los que habéis permanecido conmigo en mis tentaciones:
And yee are they which haue continued with me in my tentations.
29 Yo pues os ordeno un reino, como mi Padre me lo ordenó a mí;
Therefore I appoint vnto you a kingdome, as my Father hath appointed vnto me,
30 Para que comáis y bebáis en mi mesa en mi reino; y os asentéis sobre tronos juzgando a las doce tribus de Israel.
That ye may eate, and drinke at my table in my kingdome, and sit on seates, and iudge the twelue tribes of Israel.
31 Dijo también el Señor: Simón, Simón, he aquí, que Satanás os ha pedido para zarandearos como a trigo;
And the Lord saide, Simon, Simon, beholde, Satan hath desired you, to winowe you as wheate.
32 Mas yo he rogado por ti que tu fe no falte; y tú cuando te conviertas, confirma a tus hermanos.
But I haue prayed for thee, that thy faith faile not: therefore when thou art conuerted, strengthen thy brethren.
33 Y él le dijo: Señor, dispuesto estoy a ir contigo, tanto a la cárcel, como a la muerte.
And he said vnto him, Lord, I am ready to goe with thee into prison, and to death.
34 Y él dijo: Pedro, te digo que el gallo no cantará hoy, antes que tú niegues tres veces que me conoces.
But he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cocke shall not crowe this day, before thou hast thrise denied that thou knewest me.
35 Y a ellos dijo: Cuando os envié sin bolsa, y sin alforja, y sin zapatos, ¿os faltó algo? Y ellos dijeron: Nada.
And he saide vnto them, When I sent you without bagge, and scrip, and shooes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.
36 Entonces les dijo: Pues ahora el que tiene bolsa, tóme la; y también su alforja; y el que no tiene espada, venda su capa y cómprela.
Then he said to them, But nowe he that hath a bagge, let him take it, and likewise a scrip: and hee that hath none, let him sell his coate, and buy a sworde.
37 Porque os digo, que aun es menester que se cumpla en mí aquello que está escrito: Y con los malos fue contado; porque lo que está escrito de mí, su cumplimiento tiene.
For I say vnto you, That yet the same which is written, must be perfourmed in me, Euen with the wicked was he nombred: for doubtlesse those things which are written of me, haue an ende.
38 Entonces ellos dijeron: Señor, he aquí, dos espadas hay aquí. Y él les dijo: Basta.
And they said, Lord, beholde, here are two swordes. And he said vnto them, It is ynough.
39 Y saliendo, se fue, según su costumbre, al monte de las Olivas; y sus discípulos también le siguieron.
And he came out, and went (as he was wont) to the mount of Oliues: and his disciples also followed him.
40 Y como llegó a aquel lugar, les dijo: Orád para que no entréis en tentación.
And when hee came to the place, hee said to them, Pray, lest ye enter into tentation.
41 Y él se apartó de ellos como un tiro de piedra; y puesto de rodillas, oró,
And he was drawen aside from them about a stones cast, and kneeled downe, and prayed,
42 Diciendo: Padre, si quieres, pasa esta copa de mí, empero no se haga mi voluntad, mas la tuya.
Saying, Father, if thou wilt, take away this cuppe from mee: neuerthelesse, not my will, but thine be done.
43 Y le apareció un ángel del cielo esforzándole.
And there appeared an Angell vnto him from heauen, comforting him.
44 Y estando en agonía, oraba más intensamente; y fue su sudor como gotas grandes de sangre, que descendían hasta la tierra.
But being in an agonie, hee prayed more earnestly: and his sweate was like drops of blood, trickling downe to the ground.
45 Y como se levantó de la oración, y vino a sus discípulos, los halló durmiendo de tristeza.
And he rose vp from prayer, and came to his disciples, and found them sleeping for heauinesse.
46 Y les dijo: ¿Qué, dormís? Levantáos, y orád que no entréis en tentación.
And he said vnto them, Why sleepe ye? rise and pray, least ye enter into tentation.
47 Estando aun hablando él, he aquí, una multitud de gente, y el que se llamaba Júdas, uno de los doce, iba delante de ellos; y se llegó a Jesús, para besarle.
And while he yet spake, beholde, a companie, and he that was called Iudas one of the twelue, went before them, and came neere vnto Iesus to kisse him.
48 Entonces Jesús le dijo: ¿Júdas, con un beso entregas al Hijo del hombre?
And Iesus saide vnto him, Iudas, betrayest thou the Sonne of man with a kisse?
49 Y viendo los que estaban junto a él lo que había de ser, le dijeron: Señor, ¿heriremos con espada?
Now when they which were about him, saw what would follow, they said vnto him, Lord, shall we smite with sworde?
50 Y uno de ellos hirió al criado del sumo sacerdote, y le quitó la oreja derecha.
And one of them smote a seruant of the hie Priest, and strooke off his right eare.
51 Y respondiendo Jesús, dijo: Dejád hasta aquí. Y tocando su oreja, le sanó.
Then Iesus answered, and said, Suffer them thus farre: and he touched his eare, and healed him.
52 Dijo después Jesús a los príncipes de los sacerdotes, y a los capitanes del templo, y a los ancianos que habían venido contra él: ¿Cómo a ladrón habéis salido con espadas y con palos?
Then Iesus said vnto the hie Priests, and captaines of the Temple, and the Elders which were come to him, Bee ye come out as vnto a theefe with swordes and staues?
53 Habiendo estado con vosotros cada día en el templo, no extendisteis las manos contra mí; mas ésta es vuestra hora, y la potestad de las tinieblas.
When I was dayly with you in the Temple, yee stretched not foorth the handes against mee: but this is your very houre, and the power of darkenesse.
54 Y prendiéndole, le trajeron, y metiéronle en casa del príncipe de los sacerdotes. Y Pedro le seguía de lejos.
Then tooke they him, and led him, and brought him to the hie Priestes house. And Peter followed afarre off.
55 Y habiendo encendido fuego en medio del atrio, y sentándose todos al derredor, se sentó también Pedro entre ellos.
And when they had kindled a fire in the middes of the hall, and were set downe together, Peter also sate downe among them.
56 Y como una criada le vio que estaba sentado al fuego, puestos los ojos en él, dijo: Y éste con él era.
And a certaine mayde behelde him as hee sate by the fire, and hauing well looked on him, said, This man was also with him.
57 Entonces él lo negó, diciendo: Mujer, no le conozco.
But he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him not.
58 Y un poco después viéndole otro, dijo: Y tú de ellos eras. Y Pedro dijo: Hombre, no soy.
And after a little while, another man sawe him, and saide, Thou art also of them. But Peter said, Man, I am not.
59 Y como una hora pasada, otro afirmaba, diciendo: Verdaderamente también éste estaba con él; porque es Galileo.
And about the space of an houre after, a certaine other affirmed, saying. Verely euen this man was with him: for he is also a Galilean.
60 Y Pedro dijo: Hombre, no sé lo que dices. Y luego, estando aun él hablando, el gallo cantó.
And Peter saide, Man, I knowe not what thou sayest. And immediatly while hee yet spake, the cocke crewe.
61 Entonces, vuelto el Señor, miró a Pedro; y Pedro se acordó de la palabra del Señor, como le había dicho. Antes que el gallo dé voz me negarás tres veces.
Then the Lord turned backe, and looked vpon Peter: and Peter remembred the worde of the Lord, how he had said vnto him, Before the cocke crowe, thou shalt denie me thrise.
62 Y saliendo fuera Pedro, lloró amargamente.
And Peter went out, and wept bitterly.
63 Y los hombres que tenían a Jesús, burlaban de él, hiriéndo le.
And the men that helde Iesus, mocked him, and strooke him.
64 Y cubriéndole herían su rostro, y preguntábanle, diciendo: Profetiza, ¿quién es el que te hirió?
And when they had blindfolded him, they smote him on the face, and asked him, saying, Prophecie who it is that smote thee.
65 Y decían otras muchas cosas injuriándole.
And many other thinges blasphemously spake they against him.
66 Y como fue de día, se juntaron los ancianos del pueblo, y los príncipes de los sacerdotes, y los escribas, y le trajeron a su concilio,
And assoone as it was day, the Elders of the people, and the hie Priests and the Scribes came together, and led him into their councill,
67 Diciendo: ¿Eres tú el Cristo? dínoslo. Y les dijo: Si os lo dijere, no creereis;
Saying, Art thou that Christ? tell vs. And he said vnto them, If I tell you, ye wil not beleeue it.
68 Y también si os preguntare, no me responderéis, ni me soltaréis;
And if also I aske you, you will not answere me, nor let me goe.
69 Mas desde ahora el Hijo del hombre se asentará a la diestra del poder de Dios.
Hereafter shall the Sonne of man sit at the right hand of the power of God.
70 Y dijeron todos: ¿Luego tú eres el Hijo de Dios? Y él les dijo: Vosotros lo decís, que yo soy.
Then sayd they all, Art thou then ye Sonne of God? And he sayd to them, Ye say, that I am.
71 Entonces ellos dijeron: ¿Qué más testimonio deseamos? porque nosotros lo hemos oído de su boca.
Then sayd they, What neede we any further witnes? for we our selues haue heard it of his owne mouth.
