Levítico 8
1 Habló más Jehová a Moisés, diciendo:
Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,
2 Toma a Aarón, y a sus hijos con él, y las vestiduras, y el aceite de la unción, y el novillo de la expiación, y los dos carneros, y el canastillo de los panes cenceños.
“Take Aaron [Light-bringer] and his sons with him, and the garments, and the anointing oil, and the bull of the habitual sin ·miss the mark· offering, and the two rams, and the basket of matzah ·unleavened bread·;
3 Y junta toda la congregación a la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio.
and assemble all the congregation at the door of the Tent of Meeting.”
4 E hizo Moisés como Jehová le mandó: y la congregación se juntó a la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio.
Moses [Drawn out] did as Adonai enjoined him; and the congregation was assembled at the door of the Tent of Meeting.
5 Y dijo Moisés a la congregación: Esto es lo que Jehová ha mandado hacer.
Moses [Drawn out] said to the congregation, “This is the thing which Adonai has enjoined to be done.”
6 Entonces Moisés hizo llegar a Aarón, y a sus hijos, y lavólos con agua.
Moses [Drawn out] brought Aaron [Light-bringer] and his sons, and washed them with water.
7 Y puso sobre él la túnica, y ciñóle con el cinto, después vistióle el manto, y puso sobre él el efod, y ciñóle con el cinto del efod, y apretóle con él.
He put the coat on him, tied the sash on him, clothed him with the robe, put the ephod on him, and he tied the skillfully woven band of the ephod on him, and fastened it to him with it.
8 Y púsole encima el pectoral, y puso en el pectoral el Urim y Tumim.
He placed the breastplate on him; and in the breastplate he put the 'Urim ·Lights· and the Thummim ·Perfections·.
9 Después puso la mitra sobre su cabeza, y sobre la mitra delante de su rostro puso la plancha de oro, la corona de la santidad, como Jehová había mandado a Moisés.
He set the turban on his head; and on the turban, in front, he set the golden plate, the holy crown; as Adonai enjoined Moses [Drawn out].
10 Y tomó Moisés el aceite de la unción, y ungió el tabernáculo, y todas las cosas que estaban en él, y santificólas.
Moses [Drawn out] took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was in it, and sanctified them.
11 Y esparció de él sobre el altar siete veces, y ungió el altar, y todos sus vasos, y la fuente y su basa, para santificarlas.
He sprinkled it on the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all its utensils, and the basin and its base, to sanctify them.
12 Y derramó del aceite de la unción sobre la cabeza de Aarón, y ungióle para santificarle.
He poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron [Light-bringer]’s head, and anointed him, to sanctify him.
13 Después Moisés hizo llegar los hijos de Aarón, y vistióles las túnicas, y ciñóles con cintos, y apretóles los chapeos, como Jehová lo había mandado a Moisés.
Moses [Drawn out] brought Aaron [Light-bringer]’s sons, and clothed them with coats, and tied sashes on them, and put headbands on them; as Adonai enjoined Moses [Drawn out].
14 E hizo llegar el novillo de la expiación, y puso Aarón y sus hijos sus manos sobre la cabeza del novillo de la expiación:
He brought the bull of the habitual sin ·miss the mark· offering, and Aaron [Light-bringer] and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bull of the habitual sin ·miss the mark· offering.
15 Y degollólo, y Moisés tomó la sangre, y puso con su dedo sobre los cuernos del altar al derredor, y expió el altar, y echó la otra sangre al cimiento del altar, y santificólo para reconciliar sobre él.
He killed it; and Moses [Drawn out] took the blood, and put it around on the horns of the altar with his finger, and cleansed sin ·err (the standard goal)· from the altar, and poured out the blood at the base of the altar, and sanctified it, to make atonement for it.
16 Después tomó todo el sebo que estaba sobre los intestinos, y el redaño del hígado, y los dos riñones, y el sebo de ellos, e hizo Moisés perfume sobre el altar.
He took all the fat that was on the innards, and the cover of the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat; and Moses [Drawn out] burned it on the altar.
17 Mas el novillo, y su cuero, y su carne, y su estiércol quemó con fuego fuera del real, como Jehová lo había mandado a Moisés.
But the bull, and its skin, and its meat, and its dung, he burned with fire outside the camp; as Adonai enjoined Moses [Drawn out].
18 Después hizo llegar el carnero del holocausto; y Aarón y sus hijos pusieron sus manos sobre la cabeza del carnero.
He presented the ram of the burnt offering: and Aaron [Light-bringer] and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.
19 Y lo degolló, y esparció Moisés la sangre sobre el altar en derredor.
He killed it; and Moses [Drawn out] sprinkled the blood around on the altar.
20 Y cortó el carnero, en sus piezas; y Moisés hizo perfume de la cabeza, y piezas, y sebo.
He cut the ram into its pieces; and Moses [Drawn out] burned the head, and the pieces, and the fat.
21 Y lavó en agua los intestinos y piernas; y quemó Moisés todo el carnero sobre el altar: holocausto es en olor de holganza, ofrenda encendida a Jehová, como Jehová lo había mandado a Moisés.
He washed the innards and the legs with water; and Moses [Drawn out] burned the whole ram on the altar. It was a burnt offering for a pleasant aroma. It was an offering made by fire to Adonai; as Adonai enjoined Moses [Drawn out].
22 Después hizo llegar el otro carnero, el carnero de las consagraciones; y Aarón y sus hijos pusieron sus manos sobre la cabeza del carnero:
He presented the other ram, the ram of consecration: and Aaron [Light-bringer] and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.
23 Y lo degolló, y tomó Moisés de su sangre, y puso sobre la ternilla de la oreja derecha de Aarón, y sobre el dedo pulgar de su mano derecha, y sobre el dedo pulgar de su pie derecho.
He killed it; and Moses [Drawn out] took some of its blood, and put it on the tip of Aaron [Light-bringer]’s right ear, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot.
24 E hizo llegar los hijos de Aarón, y puso Moisés de la sangre sobre la ternilla de sus orejas derechas, y sobre los pulgares de sus manos derechas, y sobre los pulgares de sus pies derechos: y esparció Moisés la otra sangre sobre el altar en derredor.
He brought Aaron [Light-bringer]’s sons; and Moses [Drawn out] put some of the blood on the tip of their right ear, and on the thumb of their right hand, and on the great toe of their right foot; and Moses [Drawn out] sprinkled the blood around on the altar.
25 Después tomó el sebo, y la cola, y todo el sebo que estaba sobre los intestinos, y el redaño del hígado, y los dos riñones y el sebo de ellos, y la espalda derecha.
He took the fat, and the fat tail, and all the fat that was on the innards, and the cover of the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and the right thigh;
26 Y del canastillo de los panes cenceños, que estaban delante de Jehová, tomó una torta sin levadura, y una torta de pan de aceite, y una hojaldre, y púsolo con el sebo, y con la espalda derecha.
and out of the basket of matzah ·unleavened bread·, that was before Adonai, he took one unleavened cake, and one cake of oiled bread, and one wafer, and placed them on the fat, and on the right thigh.
27 Y púsolo todo en las manos de Aarón, y en las manos de sus hijos, e hízolo mecer en mecedura delante de Jehová.
He put all these in Aaron [Light-bringer]’s hands and in his sons’ hands, and waved them for a wave offering before Adonai.
28 Después tomó aquellas cosas Moisés de las manos de ellos, e hizo perfume en el altar sobre el holocausto: son las consagraciones en olor de holganza, ofrenda encendida a Jehová.
Moses [Drawn out] took them from their hands, and burned them on the altar on the burnt offering. They were a consecration for a pleasant aroma. It was an offering made by fire to Adonai.
29 Y tomó Moisés el pecho, y meciólo en mecedura delante de Jehová: del carnero de las consagraciones aquella fue la parte de Moisés, como Jehová lo había mandado al mismo Moisés.
Moses [Drawn out] took the breast, and waved it for a wave offering before Adonai. It was Moses [Drawn out]’ portion of the ram of consecration, as Adonai enjoined Moses [Drawn out].
30 Luego tomó Moisés del aceite de la unción, y de la sangre, que estaba sobre el altar, y esparció sobre Aarón, sobre sus vestiduras, y sobre sus hijos, y sobre las vestiduras de sus hijos con él: y santificó a Aarón y a sus vestiduras, y a sus hijos, y a las vestiduras de sus hijos con él.
Moses [Drawn out] took some of the anointing oil, and some of the blood which was on the altar, and sprinkled it on Aaron [Light-bringer], on his garments, and on his sons, and on his sons’ garments with him, and sanctified Aaron [Light-bringer], his garments, and his sons, and his sons’ garments with him.
31 Y dijo Moisés a Aarón, y a sus hijos: Cocéd la carne a la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio, y comédla allí con el pan, que está en el canastillo de las consagraciones, como yo he mandado, diciendo: Aarón y sus hijos la comerán.
Moses [Drawn out] said to Aaron [Light-bringer] and to his sons, “Boil the meat at the door of the Tent of Meeting, and there eat it and the bread that is in the basket of consecration, as I enjoined, saying, ‘Aaron [Light-bringer] and his sons shall eat it.’
32 Y lo que sobrare de la carne y del pan, quemarlo heis con fuego.
What remains of the meat and of the bread you shall burn with fire.
33 De la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio no saldréis en siete días, hasta el día que se cumplieren los días de vuestras consagraciones: porque por siete días seréis consagrados.
You shall not go out from the door of the Tent of Meeting seven days, until the days of your consecration are fulfilled: for he shall consecrate you seven days.
34 De la manera que hoy se ha hecho, mandó hacer Jehová para expiaros.
What has been done today, so Adonai has enjoined to do, to make atonement for you.
35 Y a la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio estaréis día y noche por siete días, y haréis la guarda delante de Jehová, y no moriréis, porque así me ha sido mandado.
You shall stay at the door of the Tent of Meeting day and night seven days, and thereby obeying what Adonai has ordered done, so that you may not die. For this is what I am enjoined.”
36 E hizo Aarón y sus hijos todas las cosas que mandó Jehová por mano de Moisés.
Aaron [Light-bringer] and his sons did all the things which Adonai enjoined by Moses [Drawn out].
