Levítico 18

1 Y habló Jehová a Moisés, diciendo:

And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

2 Habla a los hijos de Israel, y díles: Yo soy Jehová vuestro Dios:

Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, I am the LORD your God.

3 No haréis como hacen en la tierra de Egipto, en la cual morasteis: ni haréis como hacen en la tierra de Canaán, en la cual yo os meto: ni andaréis en sus estatutos.

After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein you dwelled, shall you not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, where I bring you, shall you not do: neither shall you walk in their ordinances.

4 Mis derechos haréis, y mis estatutos guardaréis andando en ellos: yo soy Jehová vuestro Dios.

You shall do my judgments, and keep my ordinances, to walk therein: I am the LORD your God.

5 Por tanto mis estatutos y mis derechos guardaréis, los cuales haciendo el hombre, vivirá en ellos: Yo Jehová.

You shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the LORD.

6 Ningún varón se allegue a ninguna cercana de su carne, para descubrir las vergüenzas: yo Jehová.

None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am the LORD.

7 Las vergüenzas de tu padre, o las vergüenzas de tu madre no descubrirás: tu madre es; no descubrirás sus vergüenzas.

The nakedness of your father, or the nakedness of your mother, shall you not uncover: she is your mother; you shall not uncover her nakedness.

8 Las vergüenzas de la mujer de tu padre no descubrirás; las vergüenzas de tu padre son.

The nakedness of your father’s wife shall you not uncover: it is your father’s nakedness.

9 Las vergüenzas de tu hermana, hija de tu padre, o hija de tu madre, nacida en casa, o nacida fuera, no descubrirás sus vergüenzas.

The nakedness of your sister, the daughter of your father, or daughter of your mother, whether she be born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness you shall not uncover.

10 Las vergüenzas de la hija de tu hijo, o de la hija de tu hija, no descubrirás sus vergüenzas, porque tus vergüenzas son.

The nakedness of your son’s daughter, or of your daughter’s daughter, even their nakedness you shall not uncover: for theirs is your own nakedness.

11 Las vergüenzas de la hija de la mujer de tu padre, engendrada de tu padre, tu hermana es, no descubrirás sus vergüenzas.

The nakedness of your father’s wife’s daughter, begotten of your father, she is your sister, you shall not uncover her nakedness.

12 Las vergüenzas de la hermana de tu padre no descubrirás: parienta de tu padre es.

You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s sister: she is your father’s near kinswoman.

13 Las vergüenzas de la hermana de tu madre no descubrirás, porque parienta de tu madre es.

You shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother’s sister: for she is your mother’s near kinswoman.

14 Las vergüenzas del hermano de tu padre no descubrirás, no llegarás a su mujer: mujer del hermano de tu padre es.

You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s brother, you shall not approach to his wife: she is your aunt.

15 Las vergüenzas de tu nuera no descubrirás: mujer es de tu hijo, no descubrirás sus vergüenzas.

You shall not uncover the nakedness of your daughter in law: she is your son’s wife; you shall not uncover her nakedness.

16 Las vergüenzas de la mujer de tu hermano no descubrirás: vergüenzas son de tu hermano.

You shall not uncover the nakedness of your brother’s wife: it is your brother’s nakedness.

17 Las vergüenzas de la mujer y de su hija no descubrirás: no tomarás la hija de su hijo, ni la hija de su hija para descubrir sus vergüenzas: parientas son, maldad es.

You shall not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, neither shall you take her son’s daughter, or her daughter’s daughter, to uncover her nakedness; for they are her near kinswomen: it is wickedness.

18 Ítem, mujer con su hermana por concubina no tomarás para descubrir sus vergüenzas delante de ella en su vida.

Neither shall you take a wife to her sister, to vex her, to uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her life time.

19 Ítem, a la mujer en el apartamiento de su inmundicia, no llegarás para descubrir sus vergüenzas.

Also you shall not approach to a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is put apart for her uncleanness.

20 Ítem, a la mujer de tu prójimo no darás tu acostamiento en simiente, contaminándote en ella.

Moreover you shall not lie carnally with your neighbor’s wife, to defile yourself with her.

21 Ítem, no des de tu simiente para hacer pasar a Moloc: ni contamines el nombre de tu Dios. Yo Jehová.

And you shall not let any of your seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shall you profane the name of your God: I am the LORD.

22 Ítem, con macho no te echarás como con mujer: abominación es.

You shall not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

23 Ítem, con ningún animal tendrás ayuntamiento ensuciándote con él: ni mujer se pondrá delante de animal para ayuntarse con él: mezcla es.

Neither shall you lie with any beast to defile yourself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.

24 En ninguna de estas cosas os ensuciaréis: porque en todas estas cosas se han ensuciado las gentes, que yo echo de delante de vosotros.

Defile not you yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:

25 Y la tierra fue contaminada, y yo visité su maldad sobre ella; y la tierra vomitó a sus moradores.

And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof on it, and the land itself vomits out her inhabitants.

26 Guardád pues vosotros mis estatutos, y mis derechos, y no hagáis ninguna de todas estas abominaciones, el natural ni el extranjero, que peregrina entre vosotros.

You shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourns among you:

27 Porque todas estas abominaciones hicieron los hombres de la tierra, que fueron antes de vosotros, y la tierra fue contaminada.

(For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled; )

28 Y la tierra no os vomitará, por haberla contaminado, como vomitó a la gente, que fue antes de vosotros.

That the land spew not you out also, when you defile it, as it spewed out the nations that were before you.

29 Porque cualquiera que hiciere alguna de todas estas abominaciones, las personas que tal hicieren, serán cortadas de entre su pueblo.

For whoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.

30 Guardád pues mi observancia no haciendo algo de las leyes de las abominaciones, que fueron hechas antes de vosotros, y no os ensuciéis en ellas: Yo Jehová, vuestro Dios.

Therefore shall you keep my ordinance, that you commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that you defile not yourselves therein: I am the LORD your God.
