Josué 21
1 Y las cabezas de los padres de los Levitas, vinieron a Eleazar sacerdote, y a Josué hijo de Nun, y a las cabezas de los padres de las tribus de los hijos de Israel:
Then came the principall fathers of the Leuites vnto Eleazar the Priest, and vnto Ioshua the sonne of Nun, and vnto the chiefe fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel,
2 Y habláronles en Silo en la tierra de Canaán, diciendo: Jehová mandó por Moisés que nos fuesen dadas villas para habitar, con sus ejidos para nuestras bestias.
And spake vnto them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, The Lord commanded by the hande of Moses, to giue vs cities to dwell in, with the suburbes thereof for our cattell.
3 Entonces los hijos de Israel dieron a los Levitas de sus posesiones, conforme a la palabra de Jehová, estas villas con sus ejidos.
So the children of Israel gaue vnto the Leuites, out of their inheritance at the commandement of the Lord these cities with their suburbes.
4 Y salió la suerte por las familias de los Caatitas: y fueron dadas por suerte a los hijos de Aarón sacerdote de los Levitas por la tribu de Judá, por la de Simeón, y por la de Ben-jamín trece villas.
And the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites: and the children of Aaron ye Priest, which were of the Leuites, had by lot, out of the tribe of Iudah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Beniamin thirteene cities.
5 Y a los otros hijos de Caat, por las familias de la tribu de Efraím, y de la tribu de Dan, y de la media tribu de Manasés fueron dadas por suerte diez villas.
And the rest of the children of Kohath had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, tenne cities.
6 Y a los hijos de Gersón, por las familias de la tribu de Isacar, y de la tribu de Aser, y de la tribu de Neftalí, y de la media tribu de Manasés en Basán, fueron dadas por suerte trece villas.
Also the children of Gershon had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of ye tribe of Naphtali, and out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteene cities.
7 A los hijos de Merari por sus familias, por la tribu de Rubén, y por la tribu de Gad, y por la tribu de Zabulón fueron dadas doce villas.
The children of Merari according to their families had out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelue cities.
8 Y así dieron los hijos de Israel a los Levitas estas villas con sus ejidos por suerte, como Jehová lo había mandado por Moisés.
So the children of Israel gaue by lot vnto the Leuites these cities with their suburbes, as the Lord had commanded by the hand of Moses.
9 Y de la tribu de los hijos de Judá, y de la tribu de los hijos de Simeón dieron estas villas que fueron nombradas:
And they gaue out of the tribe of the children of Iudah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeo, these cities which are here named.
10 Y la primera suerte fue de los hijos de Aarón de la familia de Caat, de los hijos de Leví:
And they were the childrens of Aaron being of the families of the Kohathites, and of the sonnes of Leui, (for theirs was the first lot)
11 A los cuales dieron a Cariat-arbe, del padre de Enac, esta es Hebrón en el monte de Judá, con sus ejidos por sus al derredores:
So they gaue them Kiriath-arba of the father of Anok (which is Hebron) in the mountaine of Iudah, with the suburbes of the same round about it.
12 Mas el campo de aquesta ciudad y sus aldeas dieron a Caleb hijo de Jefone por su posesión.
(But the lande of the citie, and the villages thereof, gaue they to Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh to be his possession)
13 Y a los hijos de Aarón sacerdote dieron la ciudad de refugio para los homicidas; es a saber, a Hebrón con sus ejidos, y a Lebna con sus ejidos;
Thus they gaue to the children of Aaron the Priest, a citie of refuge for the slaier, euen Hebron with her suburbes, and Libnah with her suburbes,
14 Y a Jeter con sus ejidos, a Estemo con sus ejidos,
And Iattir with her suburbes, and Eshtemoa, and her suburbes,
15 A Helón con sus ejidos, a Dabir con sus ejidos,
And Holon with her suburbes, and Debir with her suburbes,
16 A Ain con sus ejidos, a Jutta con sus ejidos, a Bet-sames con sus ejidos, nueve villas de estas dos tribus.
And Ain with her suburbes, and Iuttah with her suburbes, Beth-shemesh with her suburbes: nine cities out of those two tribes.
17 Y de la tribu de Ben-jamín, a Gabaón con sus ejidos, a Gabaa con sus ejidos,
And out of the tribe of Beniamin they gaue Gibeon with her suburbes, Geba with her suburbes,
18 A Anatot con sus ejidos, a Almón con sus ejidos; cuatro villas.
Anathoth with her suburbes, and Almon with her suburbes: foure cities.
19 Todas las villas de los sacerdotes hijos de Aarón, son trece con sus ejidos.
All the cities of the children of Aaron Priests, were thirteene cities with their suburbes.
20 Mas las familias de los hijos de Caat Levitas, los que quedaban de los hijos de Caat, recibieron por suertes villas de la tribu de Efraím:
But to the families of the children of Kohath of the Leuites, which were the rest of the children of Kohath (for the cities of their lot were out of the tribe of Ephraim)
21 Y diéronles a Siquem, villa de refugio para los homicidas en el monte de Efraím con sus ejidos, a Gaser con sus ejidos,
They gaue them the citie of refuge for the slaier, Shechem with her suburbes in mount Ephraim, and Gezer with her suburbes,
22 Y a Cisaim con sus ejidos, y a Bet-orón con sus ejidos; cuatro villas.
And Kibzaim with her suburbs, and Bethhoron with her suburbes: foure cities.
23 Y de la tribu de Dan, a Eltecó con sus ejidos, a Gabotón con sus ejidos,
And out of the tribe of Dan, Eltekeh with her suburbes, Gibethon with her suburbes,
24 A Ayalón con sus ejidos, a Get-remmon con sus ejidos; cuatro villas.
Aiialon with her suburbes, Gath-rimmon with her suburbes: foure cities.
25 Y de la media tribu de Manasés, a Tanac con sus ejidos, y a Get-remmon con sus ejidos; dos villas.
And out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, Tanach with her suburbes, and Gath-rimmon with her suburbes: two cities.
26 Todas las villas de la resta de las familias de los hijos de Caat fueron diez con sus ejidos.
All the cities for the other families of the children of Kohath were ten with their suburbes.
27 A los hijos de Gersón de las familias de los Levitas, la villa de refugio para los homicidas de la media tribu de Manasés, que era Gaulón en Basán, con sus ejidos, y a Bosra con sus ejidos; dos villas.
Also vnto the children of Gershon of the families of the Leuites, they gaue out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, the citie of refuge for the slaier, Golan in Bashan with her suburbes, and Beeshterah with her suburbes: two cities.
28 Y de la tribu de Isacar, a Cesión con sus ejidos, a Daberet con sus ejidos,
And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishon with her suburbes, Dabereh with her suburbes,
29 A Jaramot con sus ejidos, y a Engannim con sus ejidos; cuatro villas.
Iarmuth with her suburbes, En-gannim with her suburbes: foure cities.
30 Y de la tribu de Aser, a Messal con sus ejidos, a Abdón con sus ejidos,
And out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal with her suburbes, Abdon with her suburbes,
31 A Jelcat con sus ejidos, a Rohob con sus ejidos; cuatro villas.
Helkah with her suburbs, and Rehob with her suburbes: foure cities.
32 Y de la tribu de Neftalí, la villa de refugio para los homicidas, Cedes en Galilea con sus ejidos, a Hammot-dor con sus ejidos, y a Cartán con sus ejidos; tres villas.
And out of the tribe of Naphtali, the citie of refuge for the slaier, Kedesh in Galil with her suburbes, and Hammoth-dor with her suburbes, and Kartan with her suburbes: three cities.
33 Todas las villas de los Gersonitas por sus familias fueron trece villas con sus ejidos.
Al the cities of the Gershonites according to their families, were thirteene cities with their suburbes.
34 Y a las familias de los hijos de Merari, Levitas, que quedaban, de la tribu de Zabulón les fueron dadas Jecnam con sus ejidos, Carta con sus ejidos,
Also vnto the families of the children of Merari the rest of the Leuites, they gaue out of the tribe of Zebulun, Iokneam with her suburbs, and Kartah with her suburbes,
35 Danna con sus ejidos, Naalot con sus ejidos; cuatro villas.
Dimnah with her suburbes, Nahalal, with her suburbes: foure cities.
36 Y de la tribu de Rubén, a Bosor con sus edijos, Jahesa con sus ejidos,
And out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer with her suburbs, and Iahazah with her suburbs,
37 Cedmod con sus ejidos, Mefaat con sus ejidos; cuatro villas.
Kedemoth with her suburbes, and Mephaath with her suburbes: foure cities.
38 De la tribu de Gad, la villa del refugio para los homicidas, Ramot en Galaad con sus ejidos, y Mahanaim con sus ejidos,
And out of the tribe of Gad they gaue for a citie of refuge for the slaier, Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbes, and Mahanaim with her suburbes,
39 Jesebón con sus ejidos, y Jazer con sus ejidos; cuatro villas.
Heshbon with her suburbs, and Iazer with her suburbes: foure cities in all.
40 Todas las villas de los hijos de Merari por sus familias, que restaban de las familias de los Levitas fueron por sus suertes doce villas.
So all the cities of the children of Merari according to their families (which were the rest of the families of the Leuites) were by their lot, twelue cities.
41 Y todas las villas de los Levitas en medio de la posesión de los hijos de Israel, fueron cuarenta y ocho villas con sus ejidos.
And all the cities of the Leuites within the possession of the children of Israel, were eight and fourtie with their suburbes.
42 Y estas ciudades estaban apartadas la una de la otra, cada cual con sus ejidos al derredor de ellas; lo cual fue en todas estas ciudades.
These cities lay euery one seuerallie with their suburbes round about them: so were all these cities.
43 Así dio Jehová a Israel toda la tierra, que había jurado a sus padres de dar; y poseyéronla, y habitaron en ella.
So the Lord gaue vnto Israel all ye land, which hee had sworne to giue vnto their fathers: and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.
44 Y Jehová les dio reposo al derredor, conforme a todo lo que había jurado a sus padres: y nadie de todos sus enemigos les paró delante, mas Jehová entregó en sus manos todos sus enemigos.
Also the Lord gaue them rest rounde about according to all that hee had sworne vnto their fathers: and there stoode not a man of all their enemies before them: for the Lord deliuered all their enemies into their hand.
45 No faltó palabra de todas las buenas palabras que habló Jehová a la casa de Israel, todo se cumplió.
There failed nothing of all the good things, which the Lord hath sayde vnto the house of Israel, but all came to passe.
