Josué 15
1 Y fue la suerte de la tribu de los hijos de Judá por sus familias junto al término de Edom del desierto de Zin al mediodía al lado del Sur.
Now the part of the land marked out for the children of Judah by families, went up to the edge of Edom, as far as the waste land of Zin to the south, to the farthest point of it on the south.
2 Y su término de la parte del mediodía fue desde la costa de la mar salada, desde la lengua que mira hacia el mediodía.
Their south limit was from the farthest part of the Salt Sea, from the inlet looking to the south:
3 Y de allí salía hacia el mediodía a la subida de Acrabim pasando hasta Zín; y subiendo por el mediodía hasta Cádes-barne, pasando a Jesrón, y subiendo por Addar daba vuelta a Carcaa.
From there it goes south of the slope up to Akrabbim, and on to Zin, then south past Kadesh-barnea, and on by Hezron and up to Addar, turning in the direction of Karka:
4 De allí pasaba a Asemona, y salía al arroyo de Egipto: y sale este término al occidente. Este pues os será el término del mediodía.
Then on to Azmon, ending at the stream of Egypt: and the end of the limit is at the sea; this will be your limit on the south.
5 El término del oriente es la mar salada hasta el fin del Jordán: Y el término de la parte del norte, desde la lengua de la mar, desde el fin del Jordán.
And the east limit is the Salt Sea as far as the end of Jordan. And the limit of the north part of the land is from the inlet of the sea at the end of Jordan:
6 Y este término sube por Bet-agla, y pasa del norte a Bet-araba; y de aquí sube este término a la piedra de Boen hijo de Rubén.
Then the line goes up to Beth-hoglah, past the north of Beth-arabah, and up to the stone of Bohan, the son of Reuben;
7 Y torna a subir este término a Debera desde el valle de Acor: y al norte mira sobre Galgala, que está delante de la subida de Adommim, la cual está al mediodía del arroyo: y pasa este término a las aguas de Ensames, y sale a la fuente de Rogel.
Then the line goes up to Debir from the valley of Achor, and so to the north, in the direction of Gilgal, which is opposite the slope up to Adummim, on the south side of the river: and the line goes on to the waters of En-shemesh, ending at En-rogel:
8 Y sube este término del valle del hijo de Ennom al lado del Jebuseo al mediodía. Esta es Jerusalem. Y sube este término por la cumbre del monte que está delante del valle de Ennom hacia el occidente, el cual está al cabo del valle de los gigantes al norte.
Then the line goes up by the valley of the son of Hinnom to the south side of the Jebusite (which is Jerusalem): then up to the top of the mountain in front of the valley of Hinnom to the west, which is at the farthest point of the valley of Rephaim on the north:
9 Y rodea este término desde la cumbre del monte hasta la fuente de las aguas de Neftoa, y sale a las ciudades del monte de Efrón: y rodea este término a Baala, la cual es Cariat-jarim.
And the limit is marked out from the top of the mountain to the fountain of the waters of Nephtoah, and out to the towns of Mount Ephron, as far as Baalah (which is Kiriath-jearim):
10 Y torna este término desde Baala hacia el occidente al monte de Seir: y pasa al lado del monte de Jarim hacia el norte, esta es Queslón y desciende a Bet-sames, y pasa a Tamna.
Then turning west, the line goes from Baalah to Mount Seir, and on to the side of Mount Jearim (which is Chesalon) on the north, then down to Beth-shemesh, and on past Timnah:
11 Y sale este término al lado de Accarón hacia el norte, y rodea este término a Secrón, y pasa por el monte de Baala, y sale a Jebneel: y sale este término a la mar.
And out to the side of Ekron to the north: then it is marked out to Shikkeron and on to Mount Baalah, ending at Jabneel; the end of the line is at the sea.
12 El término del occidente es la mar grande. Y este término es el término de los hijos de Judá al derredor por sus familias.
And the limit on the west is the edge of the Great Sea. This is the line going round the land marked out for the children of Judah, by their families.
13 Mas a Caleb, hijo de Jefone, dio parte entre los hijos de Judá conforme al mandamiento de Jehová a Josué, a Cariat-arbe del padre de Enac, que es Hebrón.
And to Caleb, the son of Jephunneh, he gave a part among the children of Judah, as the Lord had given orders to Joshua, that is, Kiriath-arba, named after Arba, the father of Anak which is Hebron.
14 Y Caleb echó de allí tres hijos de Enac: Sesai, Ahimam, y Tolmai, que fueron hijos de Enac.
And the three sons of Anak, Sheshai and Ahiman and Talmai, the children of Anak, were forced out from there by Caleb.
15 De aquí subió a los que moraban en Dabir, y el nombre de Dabir era antes Cariat-sefer.
From there he went up against the people of Debir: (now the name of Debir before that was Kiriath-sepher.)
16 Y dijo Caleb: Al que hiriere a Cariat-sefer, y la tomare, yo le daré a mi hija Aja por mujer.
And Caleb said, I will give Achsah, my daughter, as wife to the man who overcomes Kiriath-sepher and takes it.
17 Y tomóla Otoniel hijo de Cenez hermano de Caleb: y él le dio por mujer a su hija Aja:
And Othniel, the son of Kenaz, Caleb's brother, took it: so he gave him his daughter Achsah for his wife.
18 Y aconteció que cuando la llevaban, él la persuadió que pidiese a su padre tierras para labrar. Ella entonces descendió del asno. Y Caleb le dijo: ¿Qué tienes?
Now when she came to him, he put into her mind the idea of requesting a field from her father: and she got down from her ass; and Caleb said to her, What is it?
19 Y ella respondió. Dáme alguna bendición: pues que me has dado tierra de secadal, dáme también fuentes de aguas. El entonces le dio las fuentes de arriba, y las de abajo.
And she said, Give me a blessing; because you have put me in dry south-land, now give me springs of water. So he gave her the higher spring and the lower spring.
20 Esta pues es la herencia de la tribu de los hijos de Judá por sus familias.
This is the heritage of the tribe of Judah, by their families.
21 Y fueron las ciudades del término de la tribu de los hijos de Judá hacia el término de Edom al mediodía, Cabseel, y Eder, y Jagur,
The farthest towns of the tribe of Judah in the direction of the limits of Edom to the south, were Kabzeel, and Eder, and Jagur;
22 Y Cina, y Demona, y Adada,
And Kinah, and Dimonah, and Adadah;
23 Y Cedes, y Asor, y Jetnán,
And Kedesh, and Hazor, and Ithnan;
24 Zif, y Telén, y Balot,
Ziph, and Telem, and Bealoth;
25 Y Asor, Hadata, y Cariot, Jesrón, que es Asor,
And Hazor-hadattah, and Kerioth-hezron (which is Hazor);
26 Amán, y Sama, y Molada,
Amam, and Shema, and Moladah;
27 Y Asar-gadda, y Hassemón, Bet-felet,
And Hazar-gaddah, and Heshmon, and Beth-pelet;
28 Y Haser-sual, Beer-seba, y Baziotia,
And Hazar-shual, and Beer-sheba, and Biziothiah;
29 Baala, y Jim, y Esem,
Baalah, and Iim, and Ezem;
30 Y Eltolad, y Cesil, y Jarma,
And Eltolad, and Chesil, and Hormah;
31 Y Siceleg, y Medema, Sensena,
And Ziklag, and Madmannah, and Sansannah;
32 Y Lebaot, Selim, y Aén, y Remmon; en todas veinte y nueve ciudades con sus aldeas:
And Lebaoth, and Shilhim, and Ain, and Rimmon; all the towns are twenty-nine, with their unwalled places.
33 En las campañas, Estoal, y Sarea, y Asena,
In the lowland, Eshtaol, and Zorah, and Ashnah;
34 Y Zanoe, y Engennim, Tappua, y Enaim,
And Zanoah, and En-gannim, Tappuah, and Enam;
35 Jerimot, y Adullam, Soco, y Azeca,
Jarmuth, and Adullam, Socoh, and Azekah;
36 Y Saraim, y Aditaim, y Gedera, y Gederotaim; catorce ciudades con sus aldeas:
And Shaaraim, and Adithaim, and Gederah, and Gederothaim; fourteen towns with their unwalled places.
37 Sanán, y Hadassa, y Magdalgad,
Zenan, and Hadashah, and Migdal-gad;
38 Y Deleán, y Masepa, y Jectel,
And Dilan, and Mizpeh, and Joktheel;
39 Laquis, y Bascat, y Eglón,
Lachish, and Bozkath, and Eglon;
40 Y Quebbón, y Lehemán, y Cetlis,
And Cabbon, and Lahmas, and Chithlish;
41 Y Giderot, Bet-dagón, y Naama, y Maceda; diez y seis ciudades con sus aldeas:
And Gederoth, Beth-dagon, and Naamah, and Makkedah; sixteen towns with their unwalled places.
42 Labana, y Eter, y Asán,
Libnah, and Ether, and Ashan;
43 Y Jefta, y Esna, y Nesib,
And Iphtah, and Ashnah, and Nezib;
44 Y Ceila, y Aczib, y Maresa; nueve ciudades con sus aldeas:
And Keilah, and Achzib, and Mareshah; nine towns with their unwalled places.
45 Accarón con sus villas y sus aldeas:
Ekron, with her daughter-towns and her unwalled places;
46 Desde Accarón hasta la mar; todas las que están a la costa de Azoto con sus aldeas:
From Ekron to the sea, all the towns by the side of Ashdod, with their unwalled places.
47 Azoto con sus villas y sus aldeas; Gaza con sus villas y sus aldeas hasta el río de Egipto, y la gran mar con sus términos:
Ashdod, with her daughter-towns and her unwalled places; Gaza, with her daughter-towns and her unwalled places, to the stream of Egypt, with the Great Sea as a limit.
48 Y en las montañas Samir, y Jeter, y Socot,
And in the hill-country, Shamir, and Jattir, and Socoh;
49 Y Danna, y Cariat-senna, que es Dabir,
And Dannah, and Kiriath-sannah (which is Debir);
50 Y Anab, e Istemo, y Anim,
And Anab, and Eshtemoh, and Anim;
51 Y Gosén, y Olón, y Gilo; once ciudades con sus aldeas:
And Goshen, and Holon, and Giloh; eleven towns with their unwalled places.
52 Arab, y Duma, y Esaán,
Arab, and Dumah, and Eshan;
53 Y Janum, y Bet-tappua, y Afeca,
And Janim, and Beth-tappuah, and Aphekah;
54 Y Atmata, y Cariat-arbe, que es Hebrón, y Sior; nueve ciudades con sus aldeas:
And Humtah, and Kiriath-arba (which is Hebron), and Zior; nine towns with their unwalled places.
55 Maón, Carmel, y Zif, y Jota,
Maon, Carmel, and Ziph, and Jutah;
56 Y Jezrael, Jucadam, y Zanoe,
And Jezreel, and Jokdeam, and Zanoah;
57 Accaim, Gabaa, y Tamma; diez ciudades con sus aldeas:
Kain, Gibeah, and Timnah; ten towns with their unwalled places.
58 Halul, y Betsur, y Gedeor,
Halhul, Beth-zur, and Gedor;
59 Y Maret, y Bet-anot, y Eltecon; seis ciudades con sus aldeas:
And Maarath, and Beth-anoth, and Eltekon; six towns with their unwalled places.
60 Cariat-baal que es Cariat-jarim, y Arebba; dos ciudades con sus aldeas:
Kiriath-baal (which is Kiriath-jearim), and Rabbah; two towns with their unwalled places.
61 En el desierto, Bet-araba, Meddín, y Sacaca,
In the waste land, Beth-arabah, Middin, and Secacah;
62 Y Nebsán, y la ciudad de la sal, y Engadí: seis ciudades con sus aldeas.
And Nibshan, and the Town of Salt, and En-gedi; six towns with their unwalled places.
63 Mas los Jebuseos que habitaban en Jerusalem, los hijos de Judá no los pudieron desarraigar: antes quedó el Jebuseo en Jerusalem con los hijos de Judá hasta hoy.
And as for the Jebusites living in Jerusalem, the children of Judah were unable to make them go out; but the Jebusites are living with the children of Judah at Jerusalem, to this day.
