Juan 16

1 Estas cosas os he hablado, para que no seáis ofendidos.

These things I have spoken to you that not you may fall away.

2 Os echarán de las sinagogas: aun más, la hora viene, cuando cualquiera que os matare, pensará que hace servicio a Dios.

Out of the synagogues they will put you; but is coming an hour that everyone who having killed you may think [it is] a service to offer to God.

3 Y estas cosas os harán, porque no conocen al Padre, ni a mí.

And these things they will do (to you *k*) because not they know the Father nor Me myself.

4 Mas os he dicho esto, para que cuando aquella hora viniere, os acordéis de ello, que yo os lo había dicho: esto empero no os lo dije al principio, porque yo estaba con vosotros.

But these things I have said to you, so that when may have come the hour (of them, *no*) you may remember those [things] that I myself said to you. These things now to you from [the] beginning not I said, because with you I was.

5 Mas ahora voy al que me envió; y ninguno de vosotros me pregunta: ¿Dónde vas?

Now however I go to the [One] having sent Me, and none of you asks Me; Where are You going?

6 Mas, porque os he hablado estas cosas, tristeza ha henchido vuestro corazón.

But because these things I have said to you, sorrow has filled your heart.

7 Empero yo os digo la verdad, que os es necesario que yo vaya; porque si yo no fuese, el Consolador no vendría a vosotros; mas si yo fuere, os le enviaré.

But I myself the truth say to you; it is profitable for you that I myself may go away; only for (I myself *o*) unless I shall go away, the Helper (not will come *NK(o)*) to you; if however I shall go, I will send Him to you.

8 Y cuando él viniere, redargüirá al mundo de pecado, y de justicia, y de juicio.

And having come He will convict the world concerning sin and concerning righteousness and concerning judgment.

9 De pecado, por cuanto no creen en mí:

concerning sin indeed, because not do they believe in Me myself;

10 De justicia, por cuanto voy al Padre, y no me veréis más:

concerning righteousness however, because to the Father (of mine *k*) I go away, and no longer no longer you behold Me;

11 De juicio, por cuanto el príncipe de este mundo ya es juzgado.

concerning now judgment, because the ruler of the world this has been judged.

12 Aun tengo muchas cosas que deciros, mas ahora no las podéis llevar.

Yet many things I have to you to say but not you are able to bear them now.

13 Empero cuando viniere aquel, el Espíritu de verdad, él os guiará a toda verdad; porque no hablará de sí mismo, mas todo lo que oyere hablará; y las cosas que han de venir os hará saber.

When however may come He, the Spirit of truth, He will guide you (into the truth all. *N(k)O*) not for He will speak from Himself, but as much as (maybe *k*) (He will hear *N(k)(o)*) He will speak and the [things] coming He will declare to you.

14 El me glorificará, porque tomará de lo mío, y os lo hará saber.

He Me myself will glorify, for from that which [is] Mine He will take and will disclose to you.

15 Todo lo que tiene el Padre, mío es: por eso dije que tomará de lo mío, y os lo hará saber.

All things as much as has the Father Mine are; because of this I said that from that which [is] Mine (He receives *N(k)O*) and will disclose to you.

16 Un poco, y no me veréis; y otra vez un poco, y me veréis; porque yo voy al Padre.

A little [while] and (no longer no longer *N(K)O*) you do behold Me, and again a little [while] and you will behold Me (that I myself I am going to Father. *K*)

17 Entonces dijeron algunos de sus discípulos unos a otros: ¿Qué es esto que nos dice: Un poco, y no me veréis; y otra vez, un poco, y me veréis; y, porque yo voy al Padre?

Said therefore [some] of the disciples of him to one another; What is this that He says to us; A little [while] and not you do behold Me, and again a little [while] and you will behold Me’? and Because (I myself *k*) I am going to the Father’?

18 Así que decían: ¿Qué es esto que dice: Un poco? No sabemos lo que dice.

They were saying therefore; what is This that He says a little [while]’? Not we do know what He is saying.

19 Y conocía Jesús que le querían preguntar, y les dijo: ¿Preguntáis entre vosotros de esto que dije: Un poco, y no me veréis; y otra vez, un poco, y me veréis?

Knew (therefore *K*) Jesus that they were desiring Him to ask, and He said to them; Concerning this do you inquire among one another that I said; A little [while] and not you do behold Me, and again a little [while] and you will behold Me’?

20 De cierto, de cierto os digo: Vosotros lloraréis y lamentaréis, el mundo empero se alegrará: y vosotros seréis tristes, mas vuestra tristeza será vuelta en gozo.

Amen Amen I say to you that you will weep and will lament you yourselves, but the world will rejoice; You yourselves (now *k*) will be grieved, but the grief of you to joy will turn.

21 La mujer cuando pare, tiene dolor, porque es venida su hora; mas después que ha parido un niño, ya no se acuerda de la apretura por el gozo de que haya nacido un hombre en el mundo.

The woman when she may be giving birth pain has, because has come the hour of her; when however she may bring forth the child, no longer no longer she remembers the tribulation on account of the joy that has been born a man into the world.

22 Vosotros pues también ahora a la verdad tenéis tristeza; mas otra vez os veré, y se gozará vuestro corazón, y nadie quitará de vosotros vuestro gozo.

Also you yourselves therefore now indeed grief have, again however I will see you and will rejoice your heart, and the joy of you no [one] (do take *NK(o)*) from you,

23 Y en aquel día no me preguntaréis nada. De cierto, de cierto os digo: Todo cuanto pidiereis al Padre en mi nombre, os lo dará.

And in that [very] day of Me myself not you will ask no [thing]. Amen Amen I say to you; (that *k*) maybe (whatever *N(k)O*) you may ask the Father in the name of Me He will give to you.

24 Hasta ahora nada habéis pedido en mi nombre: pedíd, y recibiréis, para que vuestro gozo sea cumplido.

Until now not you have asked no [thing] in the name of Me; do ask and you will receive, that the joy of you may be filled.

25 Estas cosas os he hablado en proverbios; mas la hora viene cuando ya no os hablaré en proverbios, sino que claramente os anunciaré de mi Padre.

These things in allegories I have spoken to you; (but *K*) is coming an hour when no longer no longer in allegories I will speak to you but plainly concerning the Father (I will announce *N(k)O*) to you.

26 Aquel día pediréis en mi nombre, y no os digo que yo rogaré al Padre por vosotros;

In that [very] day in the name of Me you will ask; and not I say to you that I myself will implore the Father for you;

27 Porque el mismo Padre os ama, por cuanto vosotros me amasteis, y habéis creído que yo salí de Dios.

Himself for the Father loves you, because you yourselves Me myself have loved and have believed that I myself from (God *NK(O)*) came forth.

28 Salí del Padre, y he venido al mundo: otra vez dejo el mundo, y voy al Padre.

I came forth (from with *NK(o)*) the Father and have come into the world; again I leave the world and go to the Father.

29 Dícenle sus discípulos: He aquí, ahora hablas claramente, y ningún proverbio dices.

Say (to him *k*) the disciples of Him; Behold now (in *no*) openness You speak and allegory no [thing] speak.

30 Ahora entendemos que sabes todas las cosas, y no has menester que nadie te pregunte: en esto creemos que has salido de Dios.

Now we know that You know all things and not need have that anyone You may ask. In this we believe that from God You came forth.

31 Respondióles Jesús: ¿Ahora creéis?

Answered to them (*k*) Jesus; Now do you believe?

32 He aquí la hora viene, y ya es venida, en que seréis esparcidos cada uno a los suyos, y me dejaréis solo; mas no estoy solo, porque el Padre está conmigo.

Behold is coming an hour and (now *k*) has come when you may be scattered each to [his] own and I and I alone you may leave; yet not I am alone, for the Father with Me is.

33 Estas cosas os he hablado para que en mí tengáis paz: en el mundo tendréis apretura; mas confiád, yo he vencido al mundo.

These things I have spoken to you so that in Me myself peace you may have. In the world tribulation you have; But take courage! I myself have overcome the world.
