Joel 1
1 Palabra de Jehová que fue a Joel, hijo de Fatuel.
[the] word of Yahweh which it came to Joel [the] son of Pethuel.
2 Oíd esto, viejos, y escuchád, todos los moradores de la tierra. ¿Ha acontecido esto en vuestros días, o en los días de vuestros padres?
Hear this O elders and give ear O all [the] inhabitants of the land ¿ has it happened this in days your and or? in [the] days of ancestors your.
3 De esto contaréis a vuestros hijos, y vuestros hijos a sus hijos; y sus hijos a la otra generación.
On it to children your recount and children your to children their and children their to a generation another.
4 Lo que quedó de la oruga gusano comió la langosta, y lo que quedó de la langosta comió el pulgón, y lo que quedó del pulgón comió el revoltón.
[the] remainder of The locust[s] it has eaten the locust[s] and [the] remainder of the locust[s] it has eaten the locust[s] and [the] remainder of the locust[s] it has eaten the locust[s].
5 Despertád, borrachos, y llorád: aullád, todos los que bebéis vino, a causa del mosto; porque os es quitado de vuestra boca.
Awake O drunkards and weep and wail O all drinkers of wine on sweet wine for it has been cut off from mouth your.
6 Porque gente subió a mi tierra, fuerte, y sin número: sus dientes, dientes de león; y sus muelas, de león.
For a nation it has come up on land my mighty and there not [is] number teeth its [are the] teeth of a lion and [the] fangs of a lioness [belong] to it.
7 Asoló mi vid, y descortezó mi higuera: desnudando la desnudó, y derribó: sus ramas quedaron blancas.
It has made vine[s] my into a waste and fig tree[s] my into a stump completely it has stripped bare it and it has thrown [it] away they have become white branches its.
8 Llora tú como mujer moza vestida de saco por el marido de su juventud.
Wail like a virgin girded of sackcloth on [the] husband of youth her.
9 Pereció el presente y la derramadura de la casa de Jehová: los sacerdotes ministros de Jehová pusieron luto.
It has been cut off grain offering and drink offering from [the] house of Yahweh they are in mourning the priests [the] servants of Yahweh.
10 El campo fue destruido, la tierra se enlutó; porque el trigo fue destruido, el mosto se secó, el aceite pereció.
It is devastated [the] field[s] it is dried up [the] ground for it is devastated [the] grain it has dried up [the] new wine it has dried out [the] fresh oil.
11 Avergonzáos, labradores, aullád, viñeros, por el trigo y la cebada; porque la mies del campo se perdió.
Be ashamed O farmers wail O vinedressers on [the] wheat and on [the] barley for it has perished [the] harvest of [the] field.
12 Secóse la vid, y la higuera pereció, el granado también, la palma, y el manzano: todos los árboles del campo se secaron: por lo cual el gozo se secó de los hijos de los hombres.
The vine it has dried up and the fig tree it has dried out [the] pomegranate tree also [the] palm tree and [the] apple tree all [the] trees of the field they have dried up for it has been ashamed joy from [the] children of humankind.
13 Ceñíos, y lamentád, sacerdotes: aullád, ministros del altar: veníd, dormíd en sacos, ministros de mi Dios; porque quitado es de la casa de vuestro Dios el presente y la derramadura.
Gird yourselves and lament O priests wail O servants of [the] altar come spend [the] night in sackcloth O servants of God my for it has been withheld from [the] house of God your grain offering and drink offering.
14 Pregonád ayuno, llamád a congregación, congregád los ancianos, y todos los moradores de la tierra en la casa de Jehová vuestro Dios, y clamád a Jehová.
Consecrate a fast call an assembly gather [the] elders all [the] inhabitants of the land [the] house of Yahweh God your and cry out to Yahweh.
15 ¡Ay al día! porque cercano está el día de Jehová: y vendrá como destrucción hecha por Todopoderoso.
Alas! for the day for [is] near [the] day of Yahweh and like devastation from [the] Almighty it will come.
16 ¿El mantenimiento, no es quitado de delante de nuestros ojos: la alegría, y el placer de la casa de nuestro Dios?
¿ Not before eyes our food has it been cut off from [the] house of God our joy and rejoicing.
17 El grano se pudrió debajo de sus terrones, los bastimentos fueron asolados, los alfolíes destruidos; porque el trigo se secó.
They have shriveled [the] seeds under shovels their they are desolate [the] storehouses they have been torn down [the] granaries for it has dried up [the] grain.
18 ¡Cuánto gimieron las bestias! ¡cuán atajados anduvieron los hatos de los bueyes, porque no tuvieron pastos! también los rebaños de las ovejas fueron asolados.
How! it has groaned [the] livestock they have wandered in confusion [the] herds of cattle for not pasture [belongs] to them also [the] flocks of sheep they have suffered.
19 A ti, o! Jehová, clamaré; porque fuego consumió las cabañas del desierto, y llama abrasó todos los árboles del campo.
To you O Yahweh I call for fire it has consumed [the] pastures of [the] wilderness and a flame it has set ablaze all [the] trees of the field.
20 Las bestias del campo también bramarán a ti; porque se secaron los arroyos de las aguas, y las cabañas del desierto consumió fuego.
Also [the] animals of [the] field it pants to you for they have dried up [the] channels of water and fire it has consumed [the] pastures of the wilderness.
