Jeremías 31

1 En aquel tiempo, dijo Jehová, yo seré por Dios a todos los linajes de Israel, y ellos me serán a mí por pueblo.

At the time that [the] utterance of Yahweh I will become God for all [the] clans of Israel and they they will become for me a people.

2 Así dijo Jehová: Halló gracia en el desierto el pueblo, los que escaparon de la espada: anduvo por hacer hallar reposo a Israel.

Thus he says Yahweh it found favor in the wilderness [the] people of [the] survivors of [the] sword I will go to give rest it Israel.

3 Jehová se manifestó a mí ya mucho tiempo ha, diciendo: Con amor eterno te amé: por tanto te suporté con misericordia.

From a distance Yahweh he appeared to me and a love of perpetuity I have loved you there-fore I have prolonged to you covenant loyalty.

4 Aun te edificaré, y serás edificada, virgen de Israel: aun serás adornada con tus panderos, y saldrás en corro de danzantes.

Again I will build you and you will be rebuilt O virgin of Israel again you will ornament yourself tambourines your and you will go forth in [the] dancing of merry makers.

5 Aun plantarás viñas en los montes de Samaria: plantarán los plantadores, y profanarán.

Again you will plant vineyards on [the] hills of Samaria they will plant planters and they will put [them] to use.

6 Porque habrá día en que clamarán los guardas en el monte de Efraím: Levantáos y subamos en Sión a Jehová nuestro Dios.

For there [will be] a day [when] they will call out watchmen in [the] hill country of Ephraim arise so we may go up Zion to Yahweh God our.

7 Porque así dijo Jehová: Alegráos en Jacob con alegría, y jubilád en la cabeza de las naciones, hacéd oír, alabád, y decíd: Salva, o! Jehová, tu pueblo, el resto de Israel.

For thus - he says Yahweh cry out of Jacob gladness and shout for joy on [the] chief of the nations make a proclamation praise and say save O Yahweh people your [the] remnant of Israel.

8 He aquí que yo los torno de tierra del aquilón, y los juntaré de los fines de la tierra: habrá entre ellos ciegos y cojos, y mujeres preñadas y paridas juntamente: en grande compañía tornarán acá.

Here I [am] about to bring them from a land of [the] north and I will gather them from [the] remotest parts of [the] earth [will be] among them [the] blind and [the] lame [the] pregnant and [one] giving birth alike a company great they will return hither.

9 Irán con lloro, mas con misericordias los haré volver, y hacerlos he andar junto a arroyos de aguas, por camino derecho en el cual no tropezarán; porque seré a Israel por padre, y Efraím será mi primogénito.

With weeping they will come and with supplications I will bring them I will lead them to torrents of water on a path straight not they will stumble in it for I have become of Israel a father and Ephraim [is] firstborn my he.

10 Oíd palabra de Jehová, o! naciones, y hacédlo saber en las islas que están lejos, y decíd: El que esparció a Israel, le juntará, y le guardará, como pastor a su ganado.

Hear [the] word of Yahweh O nations and declare in the islands from a distance and say [the] [one who] scattered of Israel he will gather it and he will keep it like a shepherd flock his.

11 Porque Jehová redimió a Jacob, redimióle de mano del más fuerte que él.

For he has ransomed Yahweh Jacob and he has redeemed it from [the] hand of [one too] strong for it.

12 Y vendrán, y harán alabanzas en lo alto de Sión, y correrán al bien de Jehová, al pan, y al vino, y al aceite, al ganado de las ovejas y de las vacas; y su alma será como huerto de riego, ni nunca más tendrán dolor.

And they will come and they will cry out for joy on [the] height of Zion and they will be radiant because of [the] good thing[s] of Yahweh on grain and on new wine and on fresh oil and on [the] young of [the] flock and herd and it will be life their like a garden watered and not they will repeat to languish again.

13 Entonces la virgen se holgará en la danza, los mozos y los viejos juntamente; y su lloro tornaré en gozo, y consolarlos he, y alegrarlos he de su dolor.

Then she will rejoice a virgin with dancing and young men and old [men] alike and I will turn mourning their into joy and I will comfort them and I will make glad them from sorrow their.

14 Y el alma del sacerdote embriagaré de grosura, y mi pueblo será harto de mi bien, dijo Jehová.

And I will satisfy [the] appetite of the priests fatness and people my good thing[s] my they will be satisfied [the] utterance of Yahweh.

15 Así dijo Jehová: Voz fue oída en lo alto, llanto, y lloro de amarguras: Raquel que lamenta por sus hijos, no quiso ser consolada de sus hijos, porque perecieron.

Thus - he says Yahweh a voice in Ramah [is] heard a mourning song weeping of bitterness Rachel [is] weeping on children her she has refused to be comforted on children her for there not [is] he.

16 Así dijo Jehová: Reprime tu voz del llanto, y tus ojos de las lágrimas; porque salario hay para tu obra, dice Jehová; y volverán de la tierra del enemigo.

Thus - he says Yahweh restrain voice your from weeping and eyes your from tear[s] for there [will be] a reward for work your [the] utterance of Yahweh and they will return from [the] land of [the] enemy.

17 Esperanza también hay para tu fin, dice Jehová, y los hijos volverán a su término.

And there [is] hope for future your [the] utterance of Yahweh and they will return children to own territory their.

18 Oyendo oí a Efraím que se lamentaba: Azotásteme, y fui azotado como novillo no domado: tórname, y seré tornado; porque tú eres Jehová mi Dios.

Certainly I have heard Ephraim bemoaning itself you have disciplined me and I was disciplined like a calf [which] not it had been trained restore me so let me return for you [are] Yahweh God my.

19 Porque después que me convertí, tuve arrepentimiento; y después que me conocí, herí el muslo: confundíme y tuve vergüenza; porque llevé la vergüenza de mis mocedades.

For after turned away I I repented and after was instructed I I slapped on a thigh I was ashamed and also I was humiliated for I bore [the] reproach of youth my.

20 ¿No es Efraím hijo precioso para mí? ¿no es para mí niño de placer? Con todo eso desde que hablé de él, acordándome me acordaré todavía: por tanto mis entrañas se comovieron sobre él, compadeciendo me compadeceré de él, dice Jehová.

¿ A son dear of me [is] Ephraim or? a child of delight for as often as speak I in him certainly I remember him still there-fore they are in a tumult inward parts my for him surely I will have compassion on him [the] utterance of Yahweh.

21 Establécete señales, pónte majanos altos, nota atentamente la calzada, el camino por donde veniste: vuélvete, virgen de Israel, vuélvete a estas tus ciudades.

Set up for yourself signposts place for yourself guideposts set heart your to the highway [the] way ([which] you went *Q(K)*) return O virgin of Israel return to cities your these.

22 ¿Hasta cuándo andarás vagabunda, o! hija contumaz? Porque Jehová creará una cosa nueva sobre la tierra: Una hembra rodeará al Varón.

Until when? will you vacillate! O daughter apostate for he has created Yahweh a new [thing] on the earth a female she will surround a man.

23 Así dijo Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: Aun dirán esta palabra en la tierra de Judá, y en sus ciudades, cuando yo convertiré su cautividad: Jehová te bendiga, o! morada de justicia, o! monte santo.

Thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel again people will say the word this in [the] land of Judah and in cities its when turn back I captivity their may he bless you Yahweh O abode of righteousness O mountain of holiness.

24 Y morarán en ella Judá, y todas sus ciudades, también labradores, y los que van con rebaño.

And they will dwell in it Judah and all cities its together farmers and they will journey with flock.

25 Porque embriagué el alma cansada, y toda alma entristecida henchí.

For I give water to [the] throat of [the] weary and every person [who] it has become faint I fill.

26 Por esto me desperté, y ví, y mi sueño me fue sabroso.

On this I awoke and I looked and sleep my it was pleasing to me.

27 He aquí que vienen días, dijo Jehová, y sembraré la casa de Israel, y la casa de Judá de simiente de hombre, y de simiente de animal.

Here! days [are] coming [the] utterance of Yahweh and I will sow [the] house of Israel and [the] house of Judah [the] seed of humankind and [the] seed of animal[s].

28 Y será que como tuve cuidado de ellos para arrancar, y derribar, y trastornar, y perder, y afligir; así tendré cuidado de ellos para edificar, y plantar, dijo Jehová.

And it will be just as I kept watch over them to pluck up and to pull down and to tear down and to destroy and to do harm so I will keep watch over them to build and to plant [the] utterance of Yahweh.

29 En aquellos días no dirán más: Los padres comieron las uvas acedas, y los dientes de los hijos tienen la dentera.

In the days those not people will say again fathers they have eaten sour grape[s] and [the] teeth of children they will be blunt.

30 Mas cada cual morirá por su maldad: los dientes de todo hombre que comiere las uvas acedas tendrán la dentera.

That except everyone for own iniquity his he will die every person who eats the sour grape[s] they will be blunt teeth his.

31 He aquí que vienen días, dijo Jehová, en los cuales haré nuevo concierto con la casa de Jacob, y con la casa de Judá:

Here! days [are] coming [the] utterance of Yahweh and I will make with [the] house of Israel and with [the] house of Judah a covenant new.

32 No como el concierto que hice con sus padres el día que tomé su mano para sacarlos de tierra de Egipto; porque ellos invalidaron mi concierto, y yo me enseñoreé de ellos, dijo Jehová.

Not like the covenant which I made with ancestors their on [the] day took hold I on hand their to bring out them from [the] land of Egypt who they they broke covenant my and I I was a husband over them [the] utterance of Yahweh.

33 Mas este es el concierto que haré con la casa de Israel después de aquellos días, dijo Jehová: Daré mi ley dentro de ellos, y escribirla he en su corazón; y seré yo a ellos por Dios, y ellos me serán a mí por pueblo.

That this [is] the covenant which I will make with [the] house of Israel after the days those [the] utterance of Yahweh I will put law my in inner being their and on heart their I will write it and I will become for them God and they they will become for me a people.

34 Y no enseñará más ninguno a su prójimo, ni ninguno a su hermano, diciendo: Conocéd a Jehová; porque todos me conocerán desde el más chiquito de ellos hasta el más grande, dijo Jehová; porque perdonaré su maldad, y no me acordaré más de su pecado.

And not they will teach again each neighbor his and each brother his saying know Yahweh for all of them they will know me from little their and unto great their [the] utterance of Yahweh that I will forgive iniquity their and sin their not I will remember again.

35 Así dijo Jehová, que da el sol para luz del día, las leyes de la luna y de las estrellas para luz de la noche; que parte la mar, y sus ondas braman; Jehová de los ejércitos es su nombre.

Thus - he says Yahweh [who] gives [the] sun for light by day [the] fixed order of [the] moon and [the] stars for light night [who] stirs up the sea and they roared waves its [is] Yahweh of hosts name his.

36 Si estas leyes faltaren delante de mí, dijo Jehová, también la simiente de Israel faltará para no ser nación delante de mí todos los días.

If they will depart the fixed order these from to before me [the] utterance of Yahweh also [the] offspring of Israel they will cease from being a nation before me all the days.

37 Así dijo Jehová: Si los cielos arriba se pueden medir, y abajo buscarse los fundamentos de la tierra, también yo desecharé toda la simiente de Israel por todo lo que hicieron, dijo Jehová.

Thus - he says Yahweh if they will be measured [the] heavens from to above so they may be explored [the] foundations of [the] earth downwards also I I will reject all [the] offspring of Israel on all that they have done [the] utterance of Yahweh.

38 He aquí que vienen días, dijo Jehová y la ciudad será edificada a Jehová, desde la torre de Jananeel hasta la puerta del rincón.

Here! (days [are] coming *Q(K)*) [the] utterance of Yahweh and it will be rebuilt the city for Yahweh from [the] tower of Hananel [the] gate of the corner.

39 Y saldrá más adelante el cordel de la medida delante de él sobre el collado de Gareb, y cercará a Goata:

And it will go out again ([the] line of *Q(K)*) measurement before itself to [the] hill of Gareb and it will turn Goah towards.

40 Y a todo el valle de los cuerpos muertos, y de la ceniza, y todas las llanuras hasta el arroyo de Cedrón, hasta la esquina de la puerta de los caballos al oriente, santo a Jehová: no será arrancado, ni destruido más para siempre.

And all the valley of the corpses - and the fatty ash and all (the terraced fields *Q(K)*) to [the] wadi of Kidron to [the] corner of [the] gate of the horses east-ward [will be] holy to Yahweh not it will be plucked up and not it will be torn down again for ever.
