Isaías 62
1 Por causa de Sión no callaré, y por causa de Jerusalem no reposaré, hasta que salga como resplandor su justicia, y su salud se encienda como una hacha.
For the sake of Zion will I not be silent, and for the sake of Jerusalem will I not be quiet; until its righteousness go forth as the brightness [of light], and its salvation as a burning torch.
2 Y verán las naciones tu justicia, y todos los reyes tu gloria; y serte ha puesto un nombre nuevo que la boca de Jehová nombrará.
And nations shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory; and men shall call thee by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall pronounce.
3 Y serás corona de gloria en la mano de Jehová, y diadema de reino en la mano del Dios tuyo.
And thou shalt be a crown of ornament in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.
4 Nunca más te llamarán desamparada, ni tu tierra se dirá más asolamiento: mas serás llamada Hapsiba, Mi voluntad en ella; y tu tierra Beula, Casada; porque el querer de Jehová será en ti, y tu tierra será casada.
Thou shalt not be termed any more “Forsaken,” and thy land shall not be termed any more “Desolate;” for thou shalt be called “My delight in her” [[Chephzi-bah]], and thy land “Espoused” [[Be'ulah]]; for the Lord will have delight in thee, and thy land shall be espoused.
5 Porque como el mancebo se casa con la virgen, se casarán contigo tus hijos; y como el gozo del esposo con la esposa, así se gozará contigo el Dios tuyo.
For as a young man espouseth a virgin, so shall thy sons espouse thee; and as the bridegroom is glad over the bride, so will be glad over thee thy God.
6 Sobre tus muros, o! Jerusalem, he puesto guardas; todo el día y toda la noche continuamente no callarán. Los que os acordáis de Jehová, no ceséis.
Over thy walls, O Jerusalem, have I appointed watchmen, all the day and all the night, continually, shall they not be silent: ye that make mention of the Lord, take ye no rest.
7 Ni a él le deis vagar hasta que confirme, y hasta que ponga a Jerusalem en alabanza en la tierra.
And give him no rest, until he have established, and until he have set up Jerusalem as a praise on the earth.
8 Juró Jehová por su mano derecha, y por el brazo de su fortaleza: Que jamás daré tu trigo por comida a tus enemigos, ni beberán los extraños el vino que tu trabajaste.
Sworn hath the Lord by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, I will not give thy corn any more as food for thy enemies, and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy young wine for which thou hast labored;
9 Mas los que lo allegaron, lo comerán, y alabarán a Jehová; y los que lo cogieron lo beberán en los patios de mi santuario.
But they who gather it shall eat it, and praise the Lord; and they who bring it together shall drink it in the courts of my sanctuary.
10 Pasád, pasád por las puertas: barréd el camino al pueblo: allanád, allanád la calzada, quitád las piedras, alzád pendón a los pueblos.
Pass, pass through the gates, make clear the way of the people, cast up, cast up the highway, remove away the stones, lift up a banner over the nations.
11 He aquí que Jehová hizo oír hasta lo último de la tierra: Decíd a la hija de Sión: He aquí viene tu Salvador: he aquí que su salario trae, y su obra delante de él.
Behold, the Lord hath caused to be heard unto the ends of the earth, “Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.”
12 Y llamarles han: Pueblo santo, redimidos de Jehová; y a ti te llamarán: Ciudad buscada, no desamparada.
And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord; and thou shalt be called, Sought for, [[Derusha, ]] The city never forsaken.
