Isaías 61
1 El Espíritu del Señor Jehová es sobre mí; porque me ungió Jehová: envióme a predicar a los abatidos: a atar las llagas de los quebrantados de corazón, a publicar libertad a los cautivos, y a los presos abertura de la cárcel:
The Ruach of 'Adonay Yahweh [Spirit, Breath of Lord He sustains breathing] is on me; because Adonai has anointed me to preach good news to the poor and humble. He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, to let out into the light those bound in the dark, and to restore the crushed with forgiveness;
2 A publicar año de la buena voluntad de Jehová, y día de venganza del Dios nuestro: a consolar a todos los enlutados:
to proclaim the year of Adonai’s favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn;
3 A ordenar a Sión a los enlutados, para darles gloria en lugar de la ceniza, óleo de gozo en lugar del luto, manto de alegría en lugar del espíritu angustiado; y serán llamados árboles de justicia, plantación de Jehová, para glorificarme.
to provide for those who mourn in Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking], to give to them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of tehilah ·praise song· for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of Adonai, that he may be glorified.
4 Y edificarán los desiertos antiguos, y levantarán los asolamientos primeros; y restaurarán las ciudades asoladas, los asolamientos de muchas generaciones.
They will rebuild the old ruins. They will raise up the places long devastated. They will repair the ruined cities, that have been devastated for many generations.
5 Y estarán extranjeros, y apacentarán vuestras ovejas; y los extraños serán vuestros labradores, y vuestros viñeros.
Strangers will stand and feed your flocks, and foreigners will work your fields and your vineyards.
6 Y vosotros seréis llamados sacerdotes de Jehová; ministros del Dios nuestro seréis dichos: comeréis la fuerza de las naciones, y con su gloria seréis sublimes.
But you will be called Adonai’s priests. Men will call you the servants of our God. You will eat the wealth of the nations, and you will boast in their kavod ·weighty glory·.
7 En lugar de vuestra vergüenza doble; y de vuestra deshonra, os alabarán en sus heredades: por lo cual en sus tierras poseerán doblado, y habrán gozo perpetuo.
Instead of your shame you will have double. Instead of dishonor, they will rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land, they will possess double. Everlasting joy will be to them.
8 Porque yo Jehová soy amador del derecho, aborrecedor del latrocinio para holocausto: que confirmaré en verdad su obra, y haré con ellos concierto perpetuo.
“For I, Adonai, 'ahav ·affectionately love· mishpat ·justice·. I hate robbery for burnt offerings. I will give them their reward in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant ·binding contract between two or more parties· with them.
9 Y la simiente de ellos será conocida entre las naciones, y sus renuevos en medio de los pueblos: todos los que los vieren, los conocerán, que son simiente bendita de Jehová.
Their offspring will be known among the nations, and their offspring among the peoples. All who see them will acknowledge them, that they are the offspring which Adonai has blessed.”
10 Gozando me gozaré en Jehová, mi alma se alegrará en mi Dios; porque me vistió de vestidos de salud, me cercó de manto de justicia: como a novio me atavió, y como a novia compuesta de sus joyas.
I will greatly rejoice in Adonai! My soul will be joyful in my God; for he has clothed me with the garments of yesha' ·salvation·. He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
11 Porque como la tierra produce su renuevo, y como el huerto hace brotar su simiente; así el Señor Jehová hará brotar justicia y alabanza, delante de todas las naciones.
For as the earth produces its bud, and as the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring up; so 'Adonay Adonai [Lord Yahweh] will cause righteousness and tehilah ·praise song· to spring up before all the nations.
