Oseas 14
1 Conviértete, ¡O! Israel, a Jehová tu Dios; porque por tu pecado has caído.
O Israel, returne vnto the Lord thy God: for thou hast fallen by thine iniquitie.
2 Tomád con vosotros palabras, y convertíos a Jehová, y decídle: Quita toda iniquidad, y recibe el bien; y pagaremos becerros de nuestros labios.
Take vnto you words, and turne to the Lord, and say vnto him, Take away all iniquitie, and receiue vs graciously: so wil we render the calues of our lippes.
3 No nos librará Assur, no subiremos sobre caballo, ni nunca más diremos a la obra de nuestras manos: Dioses nuestros; porque por ti el huérfano alcanzará misericordia.
Asshur shall not saue vs, neither wil we ride vpon horses, neither will we say any more to the worke of our handes, Ye are our gods: for in thee the fatherlesse findeth mercie.
4 Yo medicinaré su rebelión, amarlos he de voluntad; porque mi furor se quitó de ellos.
I wil heale their rebellion: I wil loue them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him.
5 Yo seré a Israel como rocío: el florecerá, como lirio, y extenderá sus raíces, como el Líbano.
I will be as the dewe vnto Israel: he shall grow as the lilie and fasten his rootes, as the trees of Lebanon.
6 Extenderse han sus ramos, y será su gloria como la de la oliva, y olerá como el Líbano.
His branches shall spread, and his beautie shalbe as the oliue tree, and his smell as Lebanon.
7 Volverán los que se sentaren debajo de su sombra: serán vivificados como trigo, y florecerán como la vid: su olor, como de vino del Líbano.
They that dwel vnder his shadow, shall returne: they shall reuiue as the corne, and florish as the vine: the sent thereof shalbe as the wine of Lebanon.
8 Efraím entonces dirá: ¿Qué más tendré ya con los ídolos? Yo le oiré, y miraré: yo seré a él como la haya verde: tu fruto es hallado de mí.
Ephraim shall say, What haue I to doe any more with idoles? I haue heard him, and looked vpon him: I am like a greene firre tree: vpon me is thy fruite founde.
9 ¿Quién es sabio para que entienda esto; y prudente para que lo sepa? Porque los caminos de Jehová son derechos, y los justos andarán por ellos: mas los rebeldes caerán en ellos.
Who is wise, and he shall vnderstande these things? and prudent, and he shall knowe them? for the wayes of the Lord are righteous, and the iust shall walke in them: but the wicked shall fall therein.
