Hebreos 1
1 Dios, que habló muchas veces, y en muchas maneras en otro tiempo a los padres por los profetas,
At sundry times and in diuers maners God spake in the olde time to our fathers by the Prophetes:
2 Nos ha hablado en estos postreros días por su Hijo, a quien constituyó heredero de todas las cosas, por quien asimismo hizo los siglos; (aiōn g165)
in these last dayes hee hath spoken vnto vs by his Sonne, Whom he hath made heire of al things, by whome also he made the worldes, (aiōn g165)
3 El cual siendo el resplandor de su gloria, y la imagen expresa de su sustancia, y sustentando todas las cosas con la palabra de su poder, habiendo hecho la purgación de nuestros pecados por sí mismo, se asentó a la diestra de la majestad en las alturas;
Who being the brightnes of the glory, and the ingraued forme of his person, and bearing vp all things by his mightie worde, hath by himselfe purged our sinnes, and sitteth at the right hand of the Maiestie in the highest places,
4 Siendo hecho tanto más excelente que los ángeles, cuanto alcanzó por herencia más excelente nombre que ellos.
And is made so much more excellent then the Angels, in as much as hee hath obteined a more excellent Name then they.
5 ¿Porque a cuál de los ángeles dijo Dios jamás: Mi Hijo eres tú, yo te he engendrado hoy? Y otra vez: Yo seré a él Padre, y él me será a mí Hijo?
For vnto which of the Angels saide he at any time, Thou art my Sonne, this day begate I thee? and againe, I will be his Father, and he shalbe my Sonne?
6 Y otra vez, cuando introduce al primogénito en la redondez de la tierra, dice: Y adórenle todos los ángeles de Dios.
And againe, when he bringeth in his first begotten Sonne into the worlde, hee saith, And let all the Angels of God worship him.
7 Y ciertamente con respecto a los ángeles dice: El que hace sus ángeles espíritus, y a sus ministros, llama de fuego.
And of the Angels he saith, He maketh the spirites his messengers, and his ministers a flame of fire.
8 Mas al Hijo: Tu trono, oh Dios, por los siglos de los siglos: cetro de rectitud el cetro de tu reino. (aiōn g165)
But vnto the Sonne he saith, O God, thy throne is for euer and euer: the scepter of thy kingdome is a scepter of righteousnes. (aiōn g165)
9 Amaste la justicia, y aborreciste la maldad; por esto Dios, tu Dios, te ungió, con el aceite de alegría más que a tus compañeros.
Thou hast loued righteousnes and hated iniquitie. Wherefore God, eue thy God, hath anointed thee with the oyle of gladnes aboue thy fellowes.
10 Y: Tú, Señor, en el principio fundaste la tierra; y los cielos son obras de tus manos:
And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast established the earth, and the heauens are the workes of thine handes.
11 Ellos perecerán, mas tú eres permanente; y todos ellos envejecerse han como vestidura;
They shall perish, but thou doest remaine: and they all shall waxe olde as doeth a garment.
12 Y como un manto los envolverás, y serán mudados: tú empero eres el mismo, y tus años nunca se acabarán.
And as a vesture shalt thou folde them vp, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy yeeres shall not faile.
13 Además, ¿a cuál de los ángeles dijo él jamás: Asiéntate a mi diestra, hasta que ponga a tus enemigos por estrado de tus pies?
Vnto which also of the Angels saide he at any time, Sit at my right hand, til I make thine enemies thy footestoole?
14 ¿No son todos espíritus ministradores, enviados para ministrar por aquellos, que serán herederos de salud?
Are they not al ministring spirits, sent forth to minister, for their sakes which shalbe heires of saluation?
