Hageo 2

1 En el mes séptimo, a los veinte y uno, fue palabra de Jehová por mano del profeta Aggeo, diciendo:

In the seventh [month] on [day] twenty and one of the month it came [the] word of Yahweh by [the] hand of Haggai the prophet saying.

2 Habla ahora a Zorobabel, hijo de Salatiel, gobernador de Judá, y a Josué, hijo de Josedec, gran sacerdote, y al resto del pueblo, diciendo:

Say please to Zerubbabel [the] son of Shealtiel [the] governor of Judah and to Joshua [the] son of Jehozadak the priest great and to [the] remnant of the people saying.

3 ¿Quién ha quedado entre vosotros que haya visto esta casa en su primera gloria, y cual ahora la veis? ¿Ella no es como nada delante de vuestros ojos?

Who? among you [is] the [one who] remains who he saw the house this in splendor its former and what? [are] you seeing it now ¿ not [is] as it as nothing in view your.

4 Ahora pues, esfuérzate, Zorobabel, dijo Jehová: esfuérzate también, Josué, hijo de Josedec, gran sacerdote; y esfuérzate todo el pueblo de esta tierra, dijo Jehová, y obrád; porque yo soy con vosotros, dijo Jehová de los ejércitos.

And now be strong O Zerubbabel - [the] utterance of Yahweh and be strong O Joshua [the] son of Jehozadak the priest great and be strong O all [the] people of the land [the] utterance of Yahweh and work that I [am] with you [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts.

5 La palabra que concerté con vosotros en vuestra salida de Egipto, y mi Espíritu está en medio de vosotros: no temáis.

The word which I cut with you when came out you from Egypt and spirit my [is] standing in midst of you may not you be afraid.

6 Porque así dijo Jehová de los ejércitos: De aquí a poco yo haré temblar los cielos, y la tierra, y la mar, y la seca.

For thus he says Yahweh of hosts yet one [time] [is] a little it and I [am] about to shake the heavens and the earth and the sea and the dry ground.

7 Y haré temblar a todas naciones, y vendrá el Deseado de todas las naciones; y henchiré esta casa de gloria, dijo Jehová de los ejércitos.

And I will shake all the nations and they will come [the] precious thing of all the nations and I will fill the house this splendor he says Yahweh of hosts.

8 Mía es la plata, y mío es el oro, dijo Jehová de los ejércitos.

[belongs] to Me the silver and [belongs] to me the gold [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts.

9 La gloria de aquesta casa postrera será mayor que la de la primera, dijo Jehová de los ejércitos; y daré paz en este lugar, dijo Jehová de los ejércitos.

Great it will be [the] splendor of the house this latter more than the former he says Yahweh of hosts and in the place this I will give peace [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts.

10 En veinte y cuatro del noveno mes, en el segundo año de Darío, fue palabra de Jehová por mano del profeta Aggeo, diciendo:

On [day] twenty and four of the ninth [month] in year two of Darius it came [the] word of Yahweh to Haggai the prophet saying.

11 Así dijo Jehová de los ejércitos: Ahora pregunta a los sacerdotes acerca de la ley, diciendo:

Thus he says Yahweh of hosts ask please the priests instruction saying.

12 ¿Si llevare alguno las carnes sagradas en el canto de su ropa, y con el canto de su capa tocare el pan, o la vianda, o el vino, o el aceite, o otra cualquiera comida, será santificado? Y respondieron los sacerdotes, y dijeron: No.

There! - he will carry someone flesh of holiness in [the] skirt of garment his and he will touch with skirt his bread and cooked food and wine and oil and every food ¿ will it become holy and they answered the priests and they said no.

13 Y dijo Aggeo: ¿Si algún inmundo a causa de cuerpo muerto tocare alguna cosa de estas, será inmunda? Y respondieron los sacerdotes, y dijeron: Inmunda será.

And he said Haggai if he will touch a [person] unclean of a corpse all these [things] ¿ will it become unclean and they answered the priests and they said it will become unclean.

14 Y respondió Aggeo, y dijo: Así este pueblo, y esta nación es delante de mí, dijo Jehová; y asimismo toda obra de sus manos, y todo lo que aquí ofrecen, es inmundo.

And he answered Haggai and he said [is] thus the people this and [is] thus the nation this before me [the] utterance of Yahweh and [is] thus all [the] work of hands their and [that] which they will bring near there [is] unclean it.

15 Ahora pues ponéd vuestro corazón desde este día en adelante. Antes que pusiesen piedra sobre piedra en el templo de Jehová:

And therefore set please heart your from the day this and up-wards from before put a stone to a stone in [the] temple of Yahweh.

16 Antes que fuesen, venían al montón de veinte fanegas, y había diez: venían al lagar para sacar cincuenta cántaros del lagar, y había veinte.

From when were they someone came to a heap of twenty [measures] and it was ten someone came to the wine vat to draw fifty [measures] a winepress and it was twenty.

17 Heríos con viento solano, y con tizoncillo, y con granizo, a vosotros, y a toda obra de vuestras manos, como si no fuerais míos, dijo Jehová:

I struck you with blight and with mildew and with hail all [the] work of hands your and not you to me [the] utterance of Yahweh.

18 Ponéd pues ahora vuestro corazón desde este día en adelante, es a saber, desde el día veinte y cuatro del noveno mes, que es desde el día que se echó el cimiento al templo de Jehová, ponéd vuestro corazón.

Set please heart your from the day this and up-wards from day twenty and four of the ninth [month] from the day when it was founded [the] temple of Yahweh set heart your.

19 ¿La simiente no está aun en el granero? ni aun la vid, ni la higuera, ni el granado, ni el árbol de la oliva ha metido: mas desde aqueste día daré bendición.

¿ Still [is] the seed in the granary and to the vine and the fig tree and the pomegranate and [the] tree of the olive not it has borne [fruit] from the day this I will bless.

20 Y fue palabra de Jehová la segunda vez a Aggeo a los veinte y cuatro del mismo mes, diciendo:

And it came [the] word of Yahweh - a second [time] to Haggai on [day] twenty and four of the month saying.

21 Habla a Zorobabel, gobernador de Judá, diciendo: Yo hago temblar los cielos y la tierra;

Say to Zerubbabel [the] governor of Judah saying I [am] about to shake the heavens and the earth.

22 Y trastornaré el trono de los reinos, y destruiré la fuerza del reino de las gentes; y trastornaré el carro y los que en él suben, y descenderán los caballos y los que en ellos suben, cada cual con la espada de su hermano.

And I will overthrow [the] throne of kingdoms and I will destroy [the] strength of [the] kingdoms of the nations and I will overthrow chariotry and riders its and they will go down horses and riders their each by [the] sword of brother his.

23 En aquel día, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, te tomaré, o! Zorobabel, hijo de Salatiel, siervo mío, dijo Jehová, y ponerte he como anillo de sellar; porque yo te escogí, dice Jehová de los ejércitos.

On the day that [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts I will take you O Zerubbabel [the] son of Shealtiel servant my [the] utterance of Yahweh and I will make you like signet-ring for you I have chosen [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts.
