Génesis 36
1 Y estas son las generaciones de Esaú, el cual es Edom.
And these are the generations of Esau, that is Edom.
2 Esaú tomó sus mujeres de las hijas de Canaán: a Ada, hija de Elón Jetteo; y Oolibama, hija de Ana, hija de Sebeón Heveo;
Esau took his wives of the daughters of Canaan: Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Oholibamah the daughter of Anah, daughter of Zibeon the Hivite,
3 Y Basemat, hija de Ismael, hermana de Nabajot.
and Basmath Ishmael's daughter, the sister of Nebaioth.
4 Y Ada parió a Esaú a Elifaz; y Basemat parió a Rahuel;
And Adah bore to Esau Eliphaz; and Basmath bore Reuel.
5 Y Oolibama parió a Jehús, y a Jelón, y a Coré: estos son los hijos de Esaú, que le nacieron en la tierra de Canaán.
And Oholibamah bore Jeush and Jaalam and Korah. These are the sons of Esau that were born to him in the land of Canaan.
6 Y Esaú tomó sus mujeres, y sus hijos, y sus hijas, y todas las personas de su casa, y sus ganados, y todas sus bestias, y toda su hacienda, que había adquirido en la tierra de Canaán, y fuése a otra tierra de delante de Jacob su hermano.
And Esau took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the souls of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his possessions, that he had acquired in the land of Canaan, and went into a country away from his brother Jacob.
7 Y porque la hacienda de ellos era grande, y no podían habitar juntos; ni la tierra de su peregrinación los podía sostener a causa de sus ganados.
For their property was too great for them to dwell together, and the land where they were sojourners could not bear them, because of their cattle.
8 Y Esaú habitó en el monte de Seir: Esaú es Edom.
Thus Esau dwelt in mount Seir; Esau is Edom.
9 Estos son los linajes de Esaú, padre de Edom en el monte de Seir.
And these are the generations of Esau, the father of Edom, in mount Seir.
10 Estos son los nombres de los hijos de Esaú: Elifaz, hijo de Ada, mujer de Esaú; Rahuel, hijo de Basemat, mujer de Esaú.
These are the names of Esau's sons: Eliphaz, the son of Adah the wife of Esau; Reuel, the son of Basmath the wife of Esau.
11 Y los hijos de Elifaz fueron: Temán, Omar, Sefo, Gatam, y Cenez.
— And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz.
12 Y Tamna fue concubina de Elifaz, hijo de Esaú, la cual parió a Elifaz a Amalec. Estos son los hijos de Ada, mujer de Esaú.
And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esau's son, and she bore Amalek to Eliphaz. These are the sons of Adah Esau's wife.
13 Y los hijos de Rahuel fueron: Nahat, Zara, Samma, y Meza. Estos son los hijos de Basemat, mujer de Esaú.
— And these are the sons of Reuel: Nahath and Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah. These are the sons of Basmath Esau's wife.
14 Estos fueron los hijos de Oolibama, mujer de Esaú, hija de Ana, que fue hija de Sebeón, la cual parió a Esaú, a Jehús, Jelón, y Coré.
— And these are the sons of Oholibamah, the daughter of Anah, daughter of Zibeon, Esau's wife: and she bore to Esau Jeush and Jaalam and Korah.
15 Estos son los duques de los hijos de Esaú: Los hijos de Elifaz primogénito de Esaú: el duque Temán, el duque Omar, el duque Sefo, el duque Cenez.
These are the chiefs of the sons of Esau. The sons of Eliphaz, the firstborn of Esau: chief Teman, chief Omar, chief Zepho, chief Kenaz,
16 El duque Coré, el duque Gatam, y el duque Amalec. Estos son los duques de Elifaz en la tierra de Edom: estos son los hijos de Ada.
chief Korah, chief Gatam, chief Amalek. These are the chiefs of Eliphaz in the land of Edom; these are the sons of Adah.
17 Y estos son los hijos de Rahuel, hijo de Esaú; el duque Nahat, el duque Zara, el duque Samma, y el duque Meza. Estos son los duques que salieron de Rahuel, en la tierra de Edom: estos son los hijos de Basemat, mujer de Esaú.
And these are the sons of Reuel Esau's son: chief Nahath, chief Zerah, chief Shammah, chief Mizzah: these are the chiefs of Reuel in the land of Edom; these are the sons of Basmath Esau's wife.
18 Y estos son los hijos de Oolibama, mujer de Esaú: el duque Jehús, el duque Jelón, y el duque Coré. Estos son los duques que salieron de Oolibama, mujer de Esaú, hija de Ana.
— And these are the sons of Oholibamah Esau's wife: chief Jeush, chief Jaalam, chief Korah; these are the chiefs of Oholibamah the daughter of Anah, Esau's wife.
19 Estos pues son los hijos de Esaú y sus duques: Él es Edom.
These are the sons of Esau, and these their chiefs: he is Edom.
20 Y estos son los hijos de Seir Horeo, moradores de la tierra: Lotán, Sobal, Sebeón, Ana.
These are the sons of Seir the Horite, the inhabitant of the land: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah,
21 Disón, Aser, y Disán. Estos son los duques de los Horeos, hijos de Seir en la tierra de Edom.
and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan. These are the chiefs of the Horites, the sons of Seir in the land of Edom.
22 Los hijos de Lotán fueron: Hori y Hemam: y Tanna fue hermana de Lotán.
— And the sons of Lotan were Hori and Hemam; and Lotan's sister was Timna.
23 Y los hijos de Sobal fueron: Alván, Manahat, Ebal, Sefo, y Onán.
— And these are the sons of Shobal: Alvan, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shepho and Onam.
24 Y los hijos de Sebeón fueron: Aja, y Ana. Este Ana es el que encontró los mulos en el desierto, cuando apacentaba los asnos de Sebeón su padre.
— And these are the sons of Zibeon: both Ajah and Anah. This is the Anah that found the warm springs in the wilderness as he fed the asses of Zibeon his father.
25 Los hijos de Ana fueron: Disón, y Oolibama, hija de Ana.
— And these are the sons of Anah: Dishon, and Oholibamah the daughter of Anah.
26 Y estos fueron los hijos de Disón: Hamdán, Esebán, Jetrán, y Charán.
— And these are the sons of Dishon: Hemdan, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
27 Y estos fueron los hijos de Eser: Balaán, Zaván, y Acam.
— These are the sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zaavan, and Akan.
28 Y estos fueron los hijos de Disán: Hus, y Arán.
— These are the sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.
29 Y estos fueron los duques de los Horeos: el duque Lotán, el duque Sobal, el duque Sebeón, el duque Ana,
These are the chiefs of the Horites: chief Lotan, chief Shobal, chief Zibeon, chief Anah,
30 El duque Disón, el duque Eser, el duque Disán. Estos fueron los duques de los Horeos, por sus ducados en la tierra de Seir.
chief Dishon, chief Ezer, chief Dishan. These are the chiefs of the Horites, according to their chiefs in the land of Seir.
31 Y estos fueron los reyes que reinaron en la tierra de Edom, antes que reinase rey sobre los hijos de Israel.
And these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom before there reigned a king over the children of Israel.
32 Y reinó en Edom, Bela hijo de Beor: y el nombre de su ciudad fue Denaba.
And Bela the son of Beor reigned in Edom; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
33 Y murió Bela, y reinó por él Jobab, hijo de Zara de Bosra.
And Bela died; and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
34 Y murió Jobab, y reinó por él Husam, de tierra de Temán.
And Jobab died; and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.
35 Y murió Husam, y reinó por él Adad, hijo de Badad, el que hirió a Madián en el campo de Moab: y el nombre de su ciudad fue Avit.
And Husham died; and Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the fields of Moab, reigned in his stead. And the name of his city was Avith.
36 Y murió Adad, y reinó por él Semla de Masreca.
And Hadad died; and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.
37 Y murió Semla, y reinó en su lugar Saul de Rohobot del río.
And Samlah died; and Saul of Rehoboth on the river reigned in his stead.
38 Y murió Saul, y reinó por él Balanán, hijo de Acobor.
And Saul died; and Baal-hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.
39 Y murió Balanán, hijo de Acobor, y reinó por él Adar: y el nombre de su ciudad fue Fau: y el nombre de su mujer Meetabel, hija de Matred, hija de Mezaab.
And Baal-hanan the son of Achbor died; and Hadar reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Pau; and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred daughter of Mezahab.
40 Estos pues son los nombres de los duques de Esaú por sus linajes, y sus lugares, por sus nombres: el duque Tanna, el duque Alva, el duque Jetet,
And these are the names of the chiefs of Esau, according to their families, after their places, with their names: chief Timna, chief Alvah, chief Jetheth,
41 El duque Oolibama, el duque Ela, el duque Finón,
chief Oholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon,
42 El duque Cenez, el duque Temán, el duque Mabsar,
chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar,
43 El duque Magdiel, y el duque Hiram. Estos fueron los duques de Edom por sus habitaciones en la tierra de su heredad. Este es Esaú padre de los Idumeos.
chief Magdiel, chief Iram. These are the chiefs of Edom, according to their dwelling-places in the land of their possession. This is Esau, the father of Edom.
