Génesis 16
1 Y Sarai, mujer de Abram, no le paría; y ella tenía una sierva Egipcia, que se llamaba Agar.
And Sarai [the] wife of Abram not she had borne children to him and [belonged] to her a maidservant Egyptian and name her [was] Hagar.
2 Dijo, pues, Sarai a Abram: He aquí ahora, Jehová me ha vedado de parir: ruégote que entres a mi sierva, quizá tendré hijos de ella. Y obedeció Abram al dicho de Sarai.
And she said Sarai to Abram here! please he has restrained me Yahweh from bearing children go please into maidservant my perhaps I will be built up (from her *LBH(a)*) and he listened Abram to [the] voice of Sarai.
3 Y tomó Sarai, la mujer de Abram, a Agar Egipcia su sierva, al cabo de diez años que había habitado Abram en la tierra de Canaán, y dióla a Abram su marido por mujer.
And she took Sarai [the] wife of Abram Hagar the Egyptian maidservant her from [the] end of ten years of [the] dwelling of Abram in [the] land of Canaan and she gave her to Abram husband her of him to a wife.
4 Y él entró a Agar, la cual concibió: y viéndose preñada, menospreciaba a su señora en sus ojos.
And he went into Hagar and she conceived and she saw that she had conceived and she became insignificant mistress her in view her.
5 Entonces Sarai dijo a Abram: Mi afrenta es sobre ti: yo puse mi sierva en tu seno, y viendo que se ha empreñado, soy menospreciada en sus ojos: juzgue Jehová entre mí y ti.
And she said Sarai to Abram injustice my [is] on you I I put maidservant my in bosom your and she has seen that she had conceived and I have become insignificant in view her may he judge Yahweh between me and between you.
6 Y respondió Abram a Sarai: He ahí tu sierva en tu mano: haz con ella lo que bueno te pareciere. Entonces Sarai la afligió, y ella se huyó de delante de ella.
And he said Abram to Sarai there! maidservant your [is] in hand your do to her the good in view your and she afflicted her Sarai and she fled from before her.
7 Y hallóla el ángel de Jehová junto a una fuente de agua en el desierto: junto a la fuente que está en el camino del Sur:
And he found her [the] angel of Yahweh at [the] spring of water in the wilderness at the spring on [the] way of Shur.
8 Y díjo la: Agar sierva de Sarai: ¿Dónde? ¿De dónde vienes, y a dónde vas? Y ella respondió: Huyo de delante de Sarai mi señora.
And he said O Hagar [the] maidservant of Sarai where? from this have you come and where? are you going and she said from before Sarai mistress my I [am] fleeing.
9 Y díjole el ángel de Jehová: Vuélvete a tu señora, y humíllate debajo de su mano.
And he said to her [the] angel of Yahweh return to mistress your and humble yourself under hands her.
10 Y díjole más el ángel de Jehová: Multiplicando multiplicaré tu simiente, que no será contada por la multitud.
And he said to her [the] angel of Yahweh certainly I will increase offspring your and not it will be counted from multitude.
11 Y díjole más el ángel de Jehová: He aquí, tú estás preñada, y parirás un hijo: y llamarás su nombre Ismael, porque oído ha Jehová tu aflicción.
And he said to her [the] angel of Yahweh here you [are] pregnant and you will bear a son and you will call name his Ishmael for he has listened Yahweh to affliction your.
12 Y él será hombre fiero: su mano contra todos, y las manos de todos contra él, y delante de todos sus hermanos habitará.
And he he will be a wild donkey of a man hand his [will be] on everyone and [the] hand of everyone [will be] on him and on [the] face of all brothers his he will dwell.
13 Entonces ella llamó el nombre de Jehová, que hablaba con ella: Atta el roi, Tú, Dios, de vista: Porque dijo: ¿No he visto también aquí las espaldas del que me vio?
And she called [the] name of Yahweh who spoke to her you [are] a God of seeing for she said ¿ also here have I seen [the] back of [the] [one who] sees me.
14 Por lo cual llamó al pozo: Pozo del Viviente, que me ve. He aquí, está entre Cádes, y Barad.
There-fore someone called the well Beer Lahai Roi there! [it is] between Kadesh and between Bered.
15 Y parió Agar a Abram un hijo; y llamó Abram el nombre de su hijo, que le parió Agar, Ismael.
And she bore Hagar to Abram a son and he called Abram [the] name of son his whom she had borne Hagar Ishmael.
16 Y Abram era de edad de ochenta y seis años, cuando parió Agar a Ismael.
And Abram [was] a son of eighty year[s] and six years when bore Hagar Ishmael to Abram.
