Esdras 7
1 Pasadas estas cosas, en el reino de Artaxerxes rey de Persia, Ésdras, hijo de Saraías, hijo de Azarías, hijo de Helcías,
And after the things these in [the] reign of Artaxerxes [the] king of Persia Ezra [the] son of Seraiah [the] son of Azariah [the] son of Hilkiah.
2 Hijo de Sellum, hijo de Sadoc, hijo de Aquitob,
[the] son of Shallum [the] son of Zadok [the] son of Ahitub.
3 Hijo de Amarías, hijo de Azarías, hijo de Maraiot,
[the] son of Amariah [the] son of Azariah [the] son of Meraioth.
4 Hijo de Zaraías, hijo de Ozi, hijo de Bocci,
[the] son of Zerahiah [the] son of Uzzi [the] son of Bukki.
5 Hijo de Abisué, hijo de Finees, hijo de Eleazar, hijo de Aarón primer sacerdote:
[the] son of Abishua [the] son of Phinehas [the] son of Eleazar [the] son of Aaron the priest the chief.
6 Este Ésdras subió de Babilonia, el cual era escriba diligente en la ley de Moisés, que dio Jehová Dios de Israel: y concedióle el rey según la mano de Jehová su Dios sobre él, todo lo que pidió.
That Ezra he came up from Babylon and he [was] a scribe skilled in [the] law of Moses which he had given Yahweh [the] God of Israel and he gave to him the king according to [the] hand of Yahweh God his on him all request his.
7 Y subieron con él de los hijos de Israel, y de los sacerdotes, y Levitas, y cantores, y porteros, y Natineos, en Jerusalem, en el séptimo año del rey Artaxerxes.
And they came up some of [the] people of Israel and some of the priests and the Levites and the singers and the gatekeepers and the temple servants to Jerusalem in year seven of Artaxerxes the king.
8 Y vino a Jerusalem en el mes quinto, el año séptimo del rey.
And he came Jerusalem in the month fifth it [was] [the] year seventh of the king.
9 Porque al primero del mes primero fue el principio de la partida de Babilonia, y al primero del mes quinto llegó a Jerusalem, según que era buena la mano de su Dios sobre él.
For on [day] one of the month first it [was] [the] beginning of the going up from Babylon and on [day] one of the month fifth he came to Jerusalem according to [the] hand of God his good on him.
10 Porque Ésdras preparó su corazón a buscar la ley de Jehová, y a hacer, y a enseñar a Israel mandamientos y juicios.
For Ezra he had directed heart his to study [the] law of Yahweh and to do [it] and to teach in Israel decree and judgment.
11 Y este es el traslado de la carta que dio el rey Artaxerxes a Ésdras sacerdote escriba, escriba de las palabras mandadas de Jehová, y de sus estatutos sobre Israel:
And this - [is] [the] copy of the letter which he gave the king Artaxerxes to Ezra the priest the scribe [the] scribe of [the] matters of [the] commandments of Yahweh and statutes his on Israel.
12 Artaxerxes, rey de los reyes, a Ésdras sacerdote, escriba perfecto de la ley del Dios del cielo, y a Cheenet.
Artaxerxes [the] king of kings to Ezra priest the [the] scribe of law the of [the] God of heavens the perfect and now.
13 Por mí es dado mandamiento, que cualquiera que quisiere en mi reino del pueblo de Israel, y de sus sacerdotes y Levitas, ir contigo a Jerusalem, vaya.
From me it is made a decree that every [one who] volunteers in kingdom my from people the Israel and priests its and Levites the to go to Jerusalem with you he will go.
14 Porque de parte del rey y de sus siete consultores eres enviado para visitar a Judea y a Jerusalem, conforme a la ley de tu Dios que está en tu mano;
As to because that from before king the and seven counselors his [you are] sent to enquire on Judah and to Jerusalem in [the] law of God your which [is] in hand your.
15 Y para llevar la plata y el oro que el rey, y sus consultores voluntariamente ofrecen al Dios de Israel, cuya morada está en Jerusalem;
And to carry silver and gold which king the and counselors his they have offered freely to [the] God of Israel who [is] in Jerusalem abode his.
16 Y toda la plata y el oro que hallares en toda la provincia de Babilonia, con las ofrendas voluntarias del pueblo, y de los sacerdotes, que de su voluntad ofrecieren para la casa de su Dios que está en Jerusalem.
And all [the] silver and [the] gold which you will find in all [the] province of Babylon with [the] freewill offering of people the and priests the [who] have offered freely for [the] house of God their which [is] in Jerusalem.
17 Por tanto con diligencia comprarás de esta plata becerros, carneros, corderos, y sus presentes, y sus derramaduras, y ofrecerlos has sobre el altar de la casa de vuestro Dios que está en Jerusalem.
As to because this diligently you will buy with silver the this bulls - rams lambs and grain offerings their and drink offerings their so you may offer them on altar the of [the] house of God your which [is] in Jerusalem.
18 Y lo que a ti y a tus hermanos pluguiere hacer de la otra plata y oro, conforme a la voluntad de vuestro Dios, haréis.
And whatever that (to you *Q(k)*) and to (brothers your *Q(k)*) (it is good *LH(ab)*) with [the] rest of silver the and gold the to do according to [the] will of God your you will do.
19 Y los vasos que te son entregados para el servicio de la casa de tu Dios, restituirlos has delante de Dios en Jerusalem.
And vessels the which [have been] given to you for [the] worship of [the] house of God your make complete before [the] God of Jerusalem.
20 Y lo demás que fuere necesario para la casa de tu Dios, que te fuere menester dar, darlo has de la casa de los tesoros del rey.
And [the] rest of [the] thing[s] needed of [the] house of God your which it will fall to you to give you will give from [the] house of [the] treasures of king the.
21 Y por mí, el rey Artaxerxes, es dado mandamiento a todos los tesoreros que están de la otra parte del río, que todo lo que os demandare Ésdras sacerdote, escriba de la ley del Dios del cielo, sea hecho luego,

22 Hasta cien talentos de plata, y hasta cien coros de trigo, y hasta cien batos de vino, y hasta cien batos de aceite, y sal, cuanto no se escribe.
Up to silver talents one hundred and up to wheat cors one hundred and up to wine baths one hundred and up to baths oil one hundred and salt which not [is] writing.
23 Todo lo que es mandado por el Dios del cielo, sea hecho prestamente para la casa del Dios del cielo: porque, ¿por qué será su ira contra el reino del rey y de sus hijos?
All that [is] according to [the] decree of [the] God of heavens the let it be done exactly for [the] house of [the] God of heavens the that why? will it be anger on [the] kingdom of king the and sons his.
24 Y a vosotros os hacemos saber, que a todos los sacerdotes, y Levitas, cantores, porteros, Natineos, y ministros de la casa de este Dios, ninguno pueda echar sobre ellos tributo, o pecho, o renta.
And to you [we are] making known that all priests the and Levites the singers the gatekeepers the temple servants the and [the] servants of [the] house of God this tribute tax and toll not [is] authorized to throw on them.
25 Y tú Ésdras conforme a la sabiduría de tu Dios que tienes, pon por jueces y gobernadores que gobiernen todo el pueblo que está de la otra parte del río, a todos los que tienen noticia de las leyes de tu Dios, y al que no la tuviere, enseñarle heis.
And you O Ezra according to [the] wisdom of God your which [is] in hand your appoint judges and judges that they will be (judging *Q(k)*) all people the which [is] in [the] region beyond river the all [those who] know [the] laws of God your and [one] who not [he is] knowing you will instruct.
26 Y cualquiera que no hiciere la ley de tu Dios, y la ley del rey, prestamente sea juzgado, o a muerte, o a desarraigamiento, o a pena de la hacienda, o a prisión.
And any who not he will be doing law the of God your and decree the of king the diligently judgment let it be done from him whether to death or (to banishment *Q(k)*) or to confiscation of properti and to imprisonment.
27 Bendito sea Jehová Dios de nuestros padres, que puso tal cosa en el corazón del rey, para honrar la casa de Jehová que está en Jerusalem;
[be] blessed Yahweh [the] God of ancestors our who he has put like this in [the] heart of the king to beautify [the] house of Yahweh which [is] in Jerusalem.
28 Y sobre mí inclinó misericordia delante del rey, y de sus consultores, y de todos los príncipes poderosos del rey. Y yo confortado según que la mano de mi Dios era sobre mí, junté los principales de Israel para que subiesen conmigo.
And towards me he has extended covenant loyalty before the king and counselors his and to all [the] officials of the king mighty and I I strengthened myself according to [the] hand of Yahweh God my on me and I assembled! from Israel chiefs to go up with me.
