Ezequiel 36
1 Y tú, o! hijo del hombre, profetiza sobre los montes de Israel, y dí: Montes de Israel, oíd palabra de Jehová.
Thou therefore. Son of man, Prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, —and thou shalt say, Ye mountains of Israel Hear ye the word of Yahweh.
2 Así dijo el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto el enemigo dijo sobre vosotros: Hala; también las alturas perpetuas nos han sido por heredad:
Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh, Because the enemy hath said concerning you Aha! Even the high places of age-past times, for a possession have become ours
3 Por tanto profetiza, y dí: Así dijo el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto, por cuanto asolándoos y tragándoos de todas partes, para que fueseis heredad a las otras gentes, habéis subido en bocas de lenguas, e infamia del pueblo:
Therefore, prophesy, and thou shalt say, Thus saith My Lord Yahweh-Because even because they have desolated and panted for you on every side That ye should become a possession to the rest of the nations, And ye have come up into the talk of the tongue and the slander of the people
4 Por tanto, montes de Israel, oíd palabra del Señor Jehová: Así dijo el Señor Jehová a los montes, y a los collados, a los arroyos, y a los valles, a las ruinas y asolamientos, y a las ciudades desamparadas que fueron puestas a saco, y en escarnio a las otras gentes al derredor:
Therefore ye mountains of Israel, hear ye the word of My Lord Yahweh, — Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh, To the mountains and to the hills, to the channels and to the valleys, and to the desolate waste places and to the cities that are forsaken, which have become a prey and a derision, to the rest of the nations which are on every side:
5 Por tanto así dijo el Señor Jehová: Si no he hablado en el fuego de mi zelo contra las demás gentes, y contra toda Idumea, que se pusieron mi tierra por heredad con alegría de todo corazón, con menosprecio de ánimo echándola a saco:
Therefore, Thus, saith My Lord, Yahweh, Surely in the fire of my jealousy, have I spoken against the rest of the nations and against Edom all of it, — Who have given my land to themselves for a possession, In the rejoicing of all the heart In contempt of soul, To make of its produce a prey.
6 Por tanto profetiza sobre la tierra de Israel, y di a los montes y a los collados, a los arroyos y a los valles: Así dijo el Señor Jehová: He aquí que en mi zelo, y en mi furor he hablado, por cuanto habéis llevado la injuria de las gentes:
Therefore prophesy, concerning the soil of Israel, —and say to the mountains and to the hills to the channels and to the valleys, Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, Behold me! In my jealousy and in mine indignation, have I spoken, Because the insult of the nations, ye have borne;
7 Por tanto así dijo el Señor Jehová: Yo he alzado mi mano, que las gentes que os están al derredor llevarán su vergüenza.
Therefore Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, I myself have lifted my hand, - Surely the nations which are yours round about, they their own shame, shall bear:
8 Y vosotros, o! montes de Israel, daréis vuestros ramos, y llevaréis vuestro fruto a mi pueblo Israel; porque cerca están para venir.
But ye O mountains of Israel Your boughs, shall ye shoot forth, And your fruit, shall ye bear For my people Israel, For they have drawn near to enter.
9 Porque he aquí que yo a vosotros; y me volveré a vosotros, y seréis labrados y sembrados.
For lo! I am towards you, Therefore will I turn towards you, And ye shall be tilled and sown;
10 Y haré multiplicar sobre vosotros hombres a toda la casa de Israel, toda; y habitarse han las ciudades, y las ruinas serán edificadas.
And I will multiply, upon you—men, All the house of Israel All of it, Then shall the cities be inhabited, And the waste places, shall be built,
11 Y multiplicaré sobre vosotros hombres y bestias, y serán multiplicados, y crecerán; y haceros he que moréis como solíais antiguamente, y haceros he más bien que en vuestros principios; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.
And I will multiply upon you—man and beast, And they shall multiply and be fruitful, — And I will cause you to be inhabited as in your former estates. And will do you more good than at your beginnings, So shall ye know that am Yahweh;
12 Y haré andar hombres sobre vosotros, a mi pueblo Israel, y poseerte han, y serles has por heredad; y nunca más les matarás los hijos.
And I will bring upon you—men even my people Israel That they may possess thee, So shalt thou be theirs, as an inheritance, -And thou shalt no more again make them childless.
13 Así dijo el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto dicen de vosotros: Comedora de hombres, y matadora de los hijos de tus gentes has sido:
Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh, Because they are saying to you. A devourer of men, thou art, And one that didst make childless thy nations, hast thou been
14 Por tanto no comerás más hombres, y nunca más matarás los hijos a tus gentes, dijo el Señor Jehová.
Therefore, men, shalt thou not devour any more, - And thy nations, shalt thou make childless no more, Declareth My Lord Yahweh;
15 Y nunca más te haré oír injuria de las gentes, ni más llevarás denuestos de pueblos, ni más matarás los hijos a tus gentes, dijo el Señor Jehová.
And I will not suffer to be heard against thee any more, the insult of the nations, And the reproach of the peoples, shalt thou not bear any more, - And thy nations, shalt thou not cause to stumble any more, Declareth My Lord Yahweh.
16 Y fue palabra de Jehová a mí, diciendo:
And the word of Yahweh came unto me saying:
17 Hijo del hombre, la casa de Israel que moran en su tierra, la han contaminado con sus caminos y con sus obras: como inmundicia de menstruosa fue su camino delante de mí.
Son of man The house of Israel were dwelling upon their own soil, But they defiled it by their way, and by their doings. Like the defilement of her that is removed, became their way before me.
18 Y derramé mi ira sobre ellos por las sangres que ellos derramaron sobre la tierra; y con sus ídolos la contaminaron.
So I poured out mine indignation upon them, Because of the blood which they had shed upon the land, - Yea with their manufactured gods, had they defiled it.
19 Y yo los esparcí por las gentes, y fueron aventados por las tierras: conforme a sus caminos, y conforme a sus obras los juzgué.
So I dispersed them among the nations, And they were scattered throughout the lands, — According to their way and according to their doings, I judged them.
20 Y entrados a las gentes donde vinieron, contaminaron mi santo nombre, diciéndose de ellos: Pueblo de Jehová son estos; y de su tierra: De él salieron.
But when they entered among the nations where they did enter, then profaned they my holy Name, —in that it was said of them The people of Yahweh, these! Yet from his land, have they come forth!
21 Y tuve mancilla de mi santo nombre, al cual contaminaron la casa de Israel en las gentes adonde vinieron.
So then I had tender regard for my holy Name, - Which the house of Israel had profaned, among the nations, where they had entered.
22 Por tanto di a la casa de Israel: Así dijo el Señor Jehová: No lo hago por vosotros, o! casa de Israel, mas por causa de mi santo nombre, el cual vosotros contaminasteis en las gentes adonde venisteis.
Therefore say thou to the house of Israel Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, Not for your sakes, am I working. O house of Israel, But for my holy Name which ye have profaned, among the nations where ye have entered;
23 Y santificaré mi grande nombre contaminado en las gentes, el cual vosotros contaminasteis entre ellas; y sabrán las gentes que yo soy Jehová, dijo el Señor Jehová, cuando fuere santificado en vosotros delante de vuestros ojos.
Therefore will I hallow my great Name, that hath been profaned among the nations, which ye have profaned in their midst, -So shall the nations know that I am Yahweh Declareth My Lord, Yahweh, When I have hallowed myself in you, before their eyes.
24 Y yo os tomaré de las gentes, y os juntaré de todas las tierras, y os traeré a vuestra tierra.
Therefore will I take you from among the nations, And gather you out of all the lands, - And will bring you upon your own soil;
25 Y esparciré sobre vosotros agua limpia, y seréis limpiados de todas vuestras inmundicias, y de todos vuestros ídolos os limpiaré.
And I will throw upon you clean water and ye shall be clean, — From all your uncleannesses and from all your manufactured gods, will I cleanse you;
26 Y os daré corazón nuevo, y pondré espíritu nuevo dentro de vosotros; y quitaré de vuestra carne el corazón de piedra, y daros he corazón de carne.
And I will give you a new heart, And a new spirit, will I put within you, -And I will take away the heart of stone out of your flesh, And will give you a heart of flesh;
27 Y pondré dentro de vosotros mi Espíritu, y haré que andéis en mis mandamientos, y guardéis mis derechos, y los hagáis.
And my spirit, will I put within you, And will cause That in my statutes, ye shall walk, And my regulations, ye shall observe, and do;
28 Y habitaréis en la tierra que di a vuestros padres; y vosotros me seréis por pueblo, y yo seré a vosotros por Dios.
And ye shall dwell in the land which I gave to your fathers, - And ye shall become my people, And I will become your God;
29 Y os guardaré de todas vuestras inmundicias; y llamaré al trigo, y lo multiplicaré, y no os daré hambre.
And I will save you out of all your uncleannesses, —And will call for the corn and will increase it, And will not lay upon you famine; And I will save you out of all your uncleannesses, —And will call for the corn and will increase it, And will not lay upon you famine;
30 Y multiplicaré el fruto de los árboles, y el fruto de los campos, porque nunca más recibáis oprobrio de hambre en las gentes.
And I will multiply The fruit of the tree, and The increase of the field, — To the end that ye may not receive any more the reproach of famine among the nations.
31 Y acordaros heis de vuestros malos caminos, y de vuestras obras que no fueron buenas, y seréis confusos en vuestra misma presencia por vuestras iniquidades, y por vuestras abominaciones.
Then shall ye call to mind Your ways that were wicked, and Your doings that were not good, - And shall become loathsome in your own sight. For your iniquities and For your abominations.
32 No lo hago yo por vosotros, dijo el Señor Jehová, séaos notorio: avergonzáos, y confundíos de vuestras iniquidades, casa de Israel.
Not for your sakes, am I working, Declareth My Lord Yahweh be it known to you, — Turn ye pale and then blush for your ways. O house of Israel.
33 Así dijo el Señor Jehová: El día que os limpiaré de todas vuestras iniquidades, haré también habitar las ciudades, y las asoladas serán edificadas.
Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh, In the day when I cleanse you, from all your iniquities, Then will I cause the cities to be inhabited, And the waste places shall be built;
34 Y la tierra asolada será labrada en lugar de haber sido asolada en ojos de todos los que pasaron:
And the land that was made desolate shall be tilled, — Whereas it was a desolation, before the eyes of every passer-by;
35 Los cuales dijeron: Esta tierra asolada, fue como huerto de Edén; y estas ciudades desiertas, y asoladas, y arruinadas, fortalecidas estuvieron.
And they shall say, This land that was made desolate hath become like the garden of Eden, - And the cities that were waste and deserted and thrown down, now fenced, are inhabited;
36 Y las gentes que fueron dejadas en vuestros al derredores sabrán que yo Jehová edifiqué las derribadas, y planté las asoladas: yo Jehová hablé, y hice.
So shall the nations that may be left remaining round about you know that, I Yahweh— Have built that which was thrown down, and Have planted that which was made desolate, — I Yahweh, have spoken and performed.
37 Así dijo el Señor Jehová: Aun en esto seré requerido de la casa de Israel para hacer a ellos: yo los multiplicaré de hombres como de ovejas.
Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, Even yet—for this, will I be prevailed upon by the house of Israel to work for them, — I will multiply them-Like a flock—with men:
38 Como las ovejas santas, como las ovejas de Jerusalem en sus solemnidades, así las ciudades desiertas serán llenas de rebaños de hombres; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.
Like a flock of holy offerings Like the flock of Jerusalem in her appointed feasts, So, shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men, - And they shall know that, I, am Yahweh.
