Ezequiel 35
1 Y fue palabra de Jehová a mí, diciendo:
Moveover the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
2 Hijo del hombre, pon tu rostro hacia el monte de Seir; y profetiza contra él,
Sonne of man, Set thy face against mount Seir, and prophesie against it,
3 Y díle: Así dijo el Señor Jehová: He aquí que yo contra ti, o! monte de Seir; y extenderé mi mano contra ti, y te pondré en asolamiento, y en soledad.
And say vnto it, Thus sayth the Lord God, Behold, O mount Seir, I come against thee, and I wil stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee desolate and waste.
4 A tus ciudades asolaré, y tú serás asolado; y sabrás que yo soy Jehová.
I wil lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate, and thou shalt knowe that I am the Lord.
5 Por cuanto tuviste enemistades perpetuas, y esparciste los hijos de Israel a poder de espada en el tiempo de su aflicción, en el tiempo extremamente malo:
Because thou hast had a perpetuall hatred and hast put the children of Israel to flight by the force of the sword in the time of their calamitie, when their iniquitie had an ende,
6 Por tanto vivo yo, dijo el Señor Jehová, que para sangre te disputaré, y sangre te perseguirá; y si no aborrecieres la sangre, sangre te perseguirá.
Therefore as I liue, sayth the Lord God, I wil prepare thee vnto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: except thou hate blood, euen blood shall pursue thee.
7 Y pondré al monte de Seir en asolamiento, y en soledad, y cortaré de él pasante y volviente.
Thus will I make mount Seir desolate and waste, and cut off from it him that passeth out and him that returneth.
8 Y henchiré sus montes de sus muertos en tus collados, y en tus valles, y en todos tus arroyos: muertos a cuchillo caerán en ellos.
And I will fill his mountaines with his slayne men: in thine hilles, and in thy valleys and in all thy riuers shall they fall, that are slayne with the sworde.
9 Yo te pondré en asolamientos perpetuos, y tus ciudades nunca más se restaurarán; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.
I wil make thee perpetual desolations, and thy cities shall not returne, and ye shall knowe that I am the Lord.
10 Por cuanto dijiste: Las dos naciones, y las dos tierras serán mías, y poseerlas hemos, estando allí Jehová:
Because thou hast said, These two nations, and these two countreys shalbe mine, and we wil possesse them (seeing the Lord was there)
11 Por tanto vivo yo, dijo el Señor Jehová: Yo haré conforme a tu ira, y conforme a tu zelo con que tú hiciste, a causa de tus enemistades con ellos: y seré conocido en ellos cuando te juzgaré.
Therefore as I liue, sayth the Lord God, I wil euen do according to thy wrath, and according to thine indignation which thou hast vsed in thine hatred against them: and I wil make my selfe knowen among them whe I haue iudged thee.
12 Y sabrás que yo Jehová he oído todas tus injurias que dijiste contra los montes de Israel, diciendo: Destruidos son; a nosotros son entregados para comer.
And thou shalt know, that I the Lord haue heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountaines of Israel, saying, They lye waste, they are giuen vs to be deuoured.
13 Y os engrandecisteis contra mí con vuestra boca, y multiplicasteis sobre mí vuestras palabras: Yo lo oí.
Thus with your mouthes ye haue boasted against me, and haue multiplied your words against me: I haue heard them.
14 Así dijo el Señor Jehová: Así se alegrará toda la tierra, cuando yo te haré soledad.
Thus sayth the Lord God, So shall all the world reioyce when I shall make thee desolate.
15 Como te alegraste tú sobre la heredad de la casa de Israel, porque fue asolada; así te haré a ti: asolado será el monte de Seir, y toda Idumea, toda ella; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.
As thou diddest reioyce at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I doe vnto thee: thou shalt be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Idumea wholly, and they shall know, that I am the Lord.
