Ezequiel 28

1 Y fue palabra de Jehová a mí, diciendo:

The word of Jehovah came again to me, saying:

2 Hijo del hombre, di al príncipe de Tiro: Así dijo el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto se enalteció tu corazón, y dijiste: Yo soy Dios, en el asiento de Dios estoy sentado en medio de las mares, siendo tú hombre, y no Dios; y pusiste tu corazón como corazón de Dios:

Son of man, say to the prince of Tyre, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because thy heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, “I am a god, I sit in the seat of a god, in the midst of the seas”; and though thou art man, not God, yet settest thy heart as the heart of a god, —

3 He aquí que tú eres más sabio que Daniel: nada hay oculto que a ti sea oculto:

behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret which can be hidden from thee;

4 Con tu sabiduría, y con tu prudencia te has juntado riquezas, y has adquirido oro y plata en tus tesoros;

by thy wisdom and by thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver in thy treasures;

5 Con la multitud de sabiduría en tu contratación has multiplicado tus riquezas; y a causa de tus riquezas se ha enaltecido tu corazón.

by thy great wisdom, by thy traffic, thou hast increased thy riches, and thy heart is lifted up because of thy wealth, —

6 Por tanto así dijo el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto pusiste tu corazón como corazón de Dios:

therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because thou settest thy heart as the heart of a god, therefore,

7 Por tanto he aquí que yo traigo sobre ti extraños, los fuertes de las naciones, que desvainarán sus espadas contra la hermosura de tu sabiduría, y ensuciarán tu resplandor.

behold, I will bring upon thee strangers, the terrible of the nations; and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.

8 En la sepultura te harán descender, y morirás de las muertes de los que mueren en medio de las mares.

They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the death of the slain, in the midst of the seas.

9 ¿Hablarás delante de tu matador, diciendo: Yo soy Dios? Tú hombre serás, y no Dios, en la mano de tu matador.

Wilt thou yet say, “I am a god,” before him that slayeth thee? Thou shalt be man, and not God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.

10 De muertes de incircuncisos morirás por mano de extraños; porque yo he hablado, dijo el Señor Jehová.

Thou shalt die the death of the uncircumcised, by the hand of strangers; for I have spoken it, saith the Lord Jehovah.

11 Y fue palabra de Jehová a mí, diciendo:

Moreover, the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:

12 Hijo del hombre, levanta endechas sobre el rey de Tiro, y decirle has: así dijo el Señor Jehová: Tú sellas la suma, lleno de sabiduría, y acabado de hermosura.

Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyre, and say to him, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: —Thou wast a finished signet, Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty;

13 En Edén, en el huerto de Dios, estuviste: toda piedra preciosa fue tu vestidura: sardio, topacio, diamante, turquesa, ónix, y berilo, zafiro, carbúnculo, y esmeralda, y oro: las obras de tus atambores y de tus pífanos estuvieron apercibidas en ti el día que fuiste creado.

In Eden, the garden of God, thou didst dwell; Every precious stone was thy covering, The ruby, the topaz, and the diamond, The chrysolite, the onyx, and the jasper, The sapphire, the carbuncle, and the emerald, and gold. The workmanship of thy jewel-holes was within thee; On the day when thou wast born were they prepared.

14 Tú, querubín grande, que cubre, y yo te puse: en el santo monte de Dios estuviste: en medio de piedras de fuego anduviste.

Thou wast an outspread, covering cherub; I set thee upon the holy mountain of God; Thou didst walk in the midst of the stones of fire.

15 Acabado eras en todos tus caminos desde el día que fuiste creado, hasta que se halló maldad en ti.

Thou wast prosperous in thy ways from the day that thou wast born Until iniquity was found in thee.

16 A causa de la multitud de tu contratación fuiste lleno de iniquidad, y pecaste; y yo te eché del monte de Dios, y te eché a mal de entre las piedras de fuego, o! querubín que cubre.

Through the abundance of thy merchandise thou art full of injustice; And thou hast sinned; Therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God, And I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

17 Enaltecióse tu corazón a causa de tu hermosura, corrompiste tu sabiduría a causa de tu resplandor: yo te arrojaré por tierra: delante de los reyes te pondré para que miren en ti.

Thy heart was lifted up because of thy beauty; Thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy splendor; I will cast thee to the ground; I will give thee up to kings to be their gazing-stock.

18 Con la multitud de tus maldades, y con la iniquidad de tu contratación ensuciaste tu santuario: yo pues saqué fuego de en medio de ti, el cual te consumió; y te puse en ceniza sobre la tierra en los ojos de todos los que te miran.

By the multitude of thine iniquities, by the unrighteousness of thy traffic, Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries. Therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, which shall devour thee, And I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth, In the sight of all them that behold thee.

19 Todos los que te conocieron en los pueblos, se maravillarán sobre ti: conturbado fuiste, y nunca más serás para siempre.

All they that know thee among the nations shall be astonished at thee; Thou art become a desolation, and shalt exist no more forever.

20 Y fue palabra de Jehová a mí, diciendo:

Again the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:

21 Hijo del hombre, pon tu rostro sobre Sidón, y profetiza contra ella;

Son of man, set thy face against Sidon, and prophesy against her,

22 Y dirás: Así dijo el Señor Jehová: He aquí, yo contra ti, o! Sidón, y seré glorificado en medio de ti; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová, cuando hiciere en ella juicios, y me santificare en ella.

and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, O Sidon, and I will be glorified in the midst of thee, and they shall know that I am Jehovah, when I execute judgments in her, and am sanctified in her.

23 Y enviaré en ella pestilencia y sangre en sus plazas, y caerán muertos en medio de ella con espada contra ella al derredor: y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.

I will send upon her pestilence, and blood into her streets, and the wounded shall fall in the midst of her by the sword which is against her on every side; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.

24 Y nunca más será a la casa de Israel espino que le punce, ni espino que le dé dolor, en todos los al derredores de los que los menosprecían; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.

And there shall be no more to the house of Israel a pricking brier, or a grieving thorn of all that are round about them, that despised them; and they shall know that I am the Lord Jehovah.

25 Así dijo el Señor Jehová: Cuando juntaré la casa de Israel de los pueblos entre los cuales están esparcidos, y en ellos me santificaré en los ojos de las gentes, habitarán sobre su tierra, la cual di a mi siervo Jacob.

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: When I shall gather the house of Israel from the nations among which they are scattered, then shall I be sanctified through them in the sight of the nations, and they shall dwell in the land which I gave to my servant Jacob.

26 Y habitarán sobre ella seguros; y edificarán casas, y plantarán viñas, y habitarán confiadamente, cuando yo haré juicios en todos los que los saquean en sus al derredores; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová su Dios.

They shall dwell therein securely, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards, yea, they shall dwell securely when I have executed judgments on all that despised them round about; and they shall know that I am Jehovah, their God.
