Éxodo 9
1 Entonces Jehová dijo a Moisés: Entra a Faraón, y díle: Jehová, el Dios de los Hebreos, dice así: Deja ir a mi pueblo, para que me sirvan:
Then the LORD said to Moses, Go in to Pharaoh, and tell him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me.
2 Porque si no lo quieres dejar ir, y aun los detuvieres,
For if thou shalt refuse to let [them] go, and wilt hold them still,
3 He aquí, la mano de Jehová será sobre tus ganados que están en el campo, caballos, asnos, camellos, vacas, y ovejas con pestilencia gravísima:
Behold, the hand of the LORD is upon thy cattle which are in the field, upon the horses, upon the asses, upon the camels, upon the oxen, and upon the sheep: [there shall be] a very grievous murrain.
4 Y Jehová hará separación entre los ganados de Israel, y los de Egipto, que nada muera de todo lo de los hijos de Israel:
And the LORD shall sever between the cattle of Israel, and the cattle of Egypt: and there shall nothing die of all [that] belongs to the children of Israel.
5 Y Jehová señaló tiempo, diciendo: Mañana hará Jehová esta cosa en la tierra.
And the LORD appointed a set time, saying, To-morrow the LORD will do this thing in the land.
6 Y el día siguiente Jehová hizo esta cosa, que todo el ganado de Egipto murió; mas del ganado de los hijos de Israel no murió uno.
And the LORD did that thing on the morrow, and all the cattle of Egypt died: but of the cattle of the children of Israel died not one.
7 Entonces Faraón envió a ver, y he aquí que del ganado de los hijos de Israel no había muerto uno. Y el corazón de Faraón se agravó, y no dejó ir al pueblo.
And Pharaoh sent, and behold, there was not one of the cattle of the Israelites dead. And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he did not let the people go.
8 Y Jehová dijo a Moisés y a Aarón: Tomáos vuestros puños llenos de la ceniza de un horno, y espárzala Moisés hacia el cielo delante de Faraón.
And the LORD said to Moses and to Aaron, Take to you handfuls of ashes of the furnace, and let Moses sprinkle it towards heaven in the sight of Pharaoh.
9 Y volverse ha en polvo sobre toda la tierra de Egipto, que en los hombres y en las bestias se volverá en sarna que eche vejigas, por toda la tierra de Egipto.
And it shall become small dust in all the land of Egypt, and shall be a boil breaking forth [with] blains upon man, and upon beast, throughout all the land of Egypt.
10 Y ellos tomaron la ceniza del horno, y pusiéronse delante de Faraón, y esparcióla Moisés hacia el cielo, y vino una sarna que echaba vejigas así en los hombres como en las bestias:
And they took ashes of the furnace, and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses sprinkled it towards heaven; and it became a boil breaking forth [with] blains upon man, and upon beast.
11 Que los magos no podían estar delante de Moisés a causa de la sarna, porque hubo sarna en los magos, y en todos los Egipcios.
And the magicians could not stand before Moses, because of the boil: for the boil was upon the magicians, and upon all the Egyptians.
12 Y Jehová endureció el corazón de Faraón para que no los oyese, como Jehová lo había dicho a Moisés.
And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he hearkened not to them; as the LORD had spoke to Moses.
13 Entonces Jehová dijo a Moisés: Levántate de mañana, y ponte delante de Faraón, y díle: Jehová, el Dios de los Hebreos, dice así: Deja ir mi pueblo para que me sirva.
And the LORD said to Moses, Rise early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh, and say to him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me.
14 Porque de otra manera esta vez yo envío todas mis plagas a tu corazón, y en tus siervos, y en tu pueblo, para que entiendas, que no hay otro como yo en toda la tierra.
For I will at this time send all my plagues upon thy heart, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people: that thou mayest know that [there is] none like me in all the earth.
15 Porque ahora yo extenderé mi mano para herirte a ti y a tu pueblo de pestilencia, y serás quitado de la tierra.
For now I will stretch out my hand, that I may smite thee and thy people with pestilence; and thou shalt be cut off from the earth.
16 Porque a la verdad yo te he puesto para declarar en ti mi poderío, y que mi nombre sea contado en toda la tierra.
And in very deed for this [cause] have I raised thee up, to show [in] thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.
17 Tú aun te ensalzas contra mi pueblo para no dejarlos ir.
As yet dost thou exalt thyself against my people, that thou wilt not let them go?
18 Pues he aquí que mañana a estas horas yo haré llover granizo muy grave, cual nunca fue en Egipto, desde el día que se fundó hasta ahora.
Behold, to-morrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as hath not been in Egypt since its foundation even until now.
19 Envía pues, recoge tu ganado, y todo lo que tienes en el campo; porque todo hombre o animal que se hallare en el campo y no fuere recogido a casa, el granizo descenderá sobre él, y morirá.
Send therefore now, [and] gather thy cattle, and all that thou hast in the field: [for upon] every man and beast which shall be found in the field, and shall not be brought home, the hail shall come down upon them, and they shall die.
20 El de los siervos de Faraón, que temió la palabra de Jehová, hizo huir sus siervos y su ganado a casa:
He that feared the word of the LORD, among the servants of Pharaoh, made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses:
21 Mas el que no puso en su corazón la palabra de Jehová, dejó sus siervos y sus ganados en el campo.
And he that regarded not the word of the LORD, left his servants and his cattle in the field.
22 Y Jehová dijo a Moisés: Extiende tu mano hacia el cielo, para que venga granizo en toda la tierra de Egipto sobre los hombres y sobre las bestias, y sobre toda la yerba del campo en la tierra de Egipto.
And the LORD said to Moses, Stretch forth thy hand towards heaven, that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, upon man, and upon beast, and upon every herb of the field, throughout the land of Egypt.
23 Y Moisés extendió su vara hacia el cielo, y Jehová hizo truenos, y fuego discurría por la tierra: y llovió Jehová granizo sobre la tierra de Egipto.
And Moses stretched forth his rod towards heaven, and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground: and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt.
24 Y hubo granizo, y fuego mezclado entre el granizo, muy grande cual nunca fue en toda la tierra de Egipto; desde que fue habitada.
So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there had been none like it in all the land of Egypt, since it became a nation.
25 Y aquel granizo hirió en toda la tierra de Egipto todo lo que estaba en el campo, así hombres como bestias: asimismo toda la yerba del campo hirió el granizo, y quebró todos los árboles del campo.
And the hail smote, throughout all the land of Egypt, all that [was] in the field, both man and beast, and the hail smote every herb of the field and broke every tree of the field.
26 Solamente en la tierra de Gosén, donde los hijos de Israel estaban, no hubo granizo.
Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel [were], there was no hail.
27 Entonces Faraón envió a llamar a Moisés y a Aarón, y díjoles: Yo he pecado esta vez. Jehová es justo, y yo y mi pueblo impío.
And Pharaoh sent, and called for Moses and Aaron, and said to them, I have sinned this time: the LORD [is] righteous, and I and my people [are] wicked.
28 Orád a Jehová, y cesen los truenos de Dios y el granizo; y yo os dejaré ir, y no quedaréis más aquí.
Entreat the LORD (for [it is] enough) that there be no [more] mighty thunderings and hail; and I will let you go, and ye shall stay no longer.
29 Y respondióle Moisés: En saliendo yo de la ciudad extenderé mis manos a Jehová, y los truenos cesarán, y no habrá más granizo, para que sepas que de Jehová es la tierra:
And Moses said to him, As soon as I am gone out of the city, I will spread abroad my hands to the LORD; [and] the thunder shall cease, neither shall there be any more hail; that thou mayest know how that the earth [is] the LORD'S.
30 Mas yo conozco a ti y a tus siervos de antes que temieseis de la presencia del Dios Jehová.
But as for thee and thy servants, I know that ye will not yet fear the LORD God.
31 El lino y la cebada fueron heridos; porque la cebada estaba ya espigada, y el lino en caña.
And the flax and the barley were smitten: for the barley [was] in the ear, and the flax [was] bolled.
32 Mas el trigo y el centeno no fueron heridos, porque eran tardíos.
But the wheat and the rye were not smitten; for they [were] not grown up.
33 Y salido Moisés de con Faraón de la ciudad, extendió sus manos a Jehová, y cesaron los truenos y el granizo; y la lluvia no cayó más sobre la tierra.
And Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh, and spread abroad his hands to the LORD: and the thunders and hail ceased, and the rain was not poured upon the earth.
34 Y viendo Faraón, que la lluvia había cesado, y el granizo y los truenos, perseveró en pecar, y agravó su corazón él y sus siervos.
And when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders had ceased, he sinned yet more, and hardened his heart, he and his servants.
35 Y el corazón de Faraón se endureció, y no dejó ir los hijos de Israel, como Jehová lo había dicho por mano de Moisés.
And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, neither would he let the children of Israel go; as the LORD had spoken by Moses.
