Éxodo 8

1 Entonces Jehová dijo a Moisés: Entra a Faraón, y díle: Jehová ha dicho así: Deja ir a mi pueblo para que me sirvan:

And the LORD spoke to Moses, Go to Pharaoh, and say to him, Thus says the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

2 Y si no le quisieres dejar ir, he aquí, yo hiero con ranas todos tus términos.

And if you refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all your borders with frogs:

3 Y el río criará ranas, las cuales subirán, y vendrán a tu casa, y a la cámara de tu cama, y sobre tu cama, y en las casas de tus siervos, y en tu pueblo, y en tus hornos, y en tus artesas.

And the river shall bring forth frogs abundantly, which shall go up and come into your house, and into your bedchamber, and on your bed, and into the house of your servants, and on your people, and into your ovens, and into your kneading troughs:

4 Y las ranas subirán sobre ti, y sobre tu pueblo, y sobre todos tus siervos.

And the frogs shall come up both on you, and on your people, and on all your servants.

5 Y Jehová dijo a Moisés: Di a Aarón: Extiende tu mano con tu vara sobre los ríos, riberas, y estanques para que haga subir ranas sobre la tierra de Egipto.

And the LORD spoke to Moses, Say to Aaron, Stretch forth your hand with your rod over the streams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up on the land of Egypt.

6 Entonces Aarón extendió su mano sobre las aguas de Egipto, y subieron ranas, que cubrieron la tierra de Egipto.

And Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt; and the frogs came up, and covered the land of Egypt.

7 Y los encantadores hicieron lo mismo con sus encantamentos, e hicieron subir ranas sobre la tierra de Egipto.

And the magicians did so with their enchantments, and brought up frogs on the land of Egypt.

8 Entonces Faraón llamó a Moisés, y a Aarón, y díjoles: Orád a Jehová, que quite las ranas de mí, y de mi pueblo; y yo dejaré ir el pueblo, para que sacrifiquen a Jehová.

Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Entreat the LORD, that he may take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may do sacrifice to the LORD.

9 Y dijo Moisés a Faraón: Señálame cuando oraré por ti, y por tus siervos, y por tu pueblo, para que las ranas sean quitadas de ti, y de tus casas; y que solamente se queden en el río.

And Moses said to Pharaoh, Glory over me: when shall I entreat for you, and for your servants, and for your people, to destroy the frogs from you and your houses, that they may remain in the river only?

10 Y él dijo: Mañana. Y Moisés respondió: Conforme a tu palabra, para que conozcas que no hay otro como Jehová nuestro Dios.

And he said, To morrow. And he said, Be it according to your word: that you may know that there is none like to the LORD our God.

11 Y las ranas se irán de ti, y de tus casas, y de tus siervos, y de tu pueblo; y solamente se quedarán en el río.

And the frogs shall depart from you, and from your houses, and from your servants, and from your people; they shall remain in the river only.

12 Entonces salió Moisés y Aarón de con Faraón; y Moisés clamó a Jehová sobre el negocio de las ranas que había puesto a Faraón.

And Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh: and Moses cried to the LORD because of the frogs which he had brought against Pharaoh.

13 E hizo Jehová conforme a la palabra de Moisés; y las ranas murieron de las casas, de los cortijos, y de los campos.

And the LORD did according to the word of Moses; and the frogs died out of the houses, out of the villages, and out of the fields.

14 Y cogiéronlas a montones, y la tierra hedió.

And they gathered them together on heaps: and the land stank.

15 Y viendo Faraón que le habían dado reposo, agravó su corazón, y no los escuchó, como Jehová lo había dicho.

But when Pharaoh saw that there was respite, he hardened his heart, and listened not to them; as the LORD had said.

16 Entonces Jehová dijo a Moisés: Di a Aarón: Extiende tu vara, y hiere el polvo de la tierra; para que se vuelva en piojos por toda la tierra de Egipto.

And the LORD said to Moses, Say to Aaron, Stretch out your rod, and smite the dust of the land, that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

17 Y ellos lo hicieron así. Y Aarón extendió su mano con su vara; e hirió el polvo de la tierra, el cual se tornó en piojos, así en los hombres como en las bestias: Todo el polvo de la tierra se tornó en piojos en toda la tierra de Egipto.

And they did so; for Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod, and smote the dust of the earth, and it became lice in man, and in beast; all the dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

18 Y los encantadores hicieron así también para sacar piojos con sus encantamentos, mas no pudieron. Y había piojos así en los hombres como en las bestias.

And the magicians did so with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not: so there were lice on man, and on beast.

19 Entonces los magos dijeron a Faraón: Dedo de Dios es este. Mas el corazón de Faraón se endureció, y no los escuchó, como Jehová lo había dicho.

Then the magicians said to Pharaoh, This is the finger of God: and Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he listened not to them; as the LORD had said.

20 Y Jehová dijo a Moisés: Levántate de mañana, y pónte delante de Faraón; he aquí, él sale a las aguas; y díle: Jehová ha dicho así: Deja ir a mí pueblo para que me sirva:

And the LORD said to Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh; see, he comes forth to the water; and say to him, Thus says the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

21 Porque si no dejares ir a mi pueblo, he aquí, yo envío sobre ti, y sobre tus siervos, y sobre tu pueblo, y sobre tus casas toda suerte de moscas; y las casas de los Egipcios se henchirán de toda suerte de moscas, y asimismo la tierra donde ellos estuvieren.

Else, if you will not let my people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies on you, and on your servants, and on your people, and into your houses: and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground where on they are.

22 Y aquel día yo apartaré la tierra de Gosén, en la cual mi pueblo habita, que ninguna suerte de moscas haya en ella, para que sepas que yo soy Jehová en medio de la tierra.

And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end you may know that I am the LORD in the middle of the earth.

23 Y yo pondré redención entre mi pueblo y el tuyo. Esta señal será mañana.

And I will put a division between my people and your people: to morrow shall this sign be.

24 Y Jehová lo hizo así: que vino toda suerte de moscas molestísimas sobre la casa de Faraón, y sobre las casas de sus siervos, y sobre toda la tierra de Egipto, y la tierra fue corrompida a causa de ellas.

And the LORD did so; and there came a grievous swarm of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into his servants’ houses, and into all the land of Egypt: the land was corrupted by reason of the swarm of flies.

25 Entonces Faraón llamó a Moisés y a Aarón, y díjoles: Andád, sacrificád a vuestro Dios en la tierra.

And Pharaoh called for Moses and for Aaron, and said, Go you, sacrifice to your God in the land.

26 Y Moisés respondió: No conviene que hagamos así, porque sacrificaríamos a Jehová nuestro Dios la abominación de los Egipcios. He aquí, si sacrificásemos la abominación de los Egipcios delante de ellos, ¿no nos apedrearían?

And Moses said, It is not meet so to do; for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to the LORD our God: see, shall we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, and will they not stone us?

27 Camino de tres días iremos por el desierto; y sacrificaremos a Jehová nuestro Dios, como él nos dirá.

We will go three days’ journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to the LORD our God, as he shall command us.

28 Y dijo Faraón: Yo os dejaré ir para que sacrifiquéis a Jehová vuestro Dios en el desierto, con tal que no vayáis más lejos: orád por mí.

And Pharaoh said, I will let you go, that you may sacrifice to the LORD your God in the wilderness; only you shall not go very far away: entreat for me.

29 Y respondió Moisés: He aquí, en saliendo yo de contigo, rogaré a Jehová que las suertes de moscas se vayan de Faraón, y de sus siervos, y de su pueblo mañana, con tal que Faraón no falte más no dejando ir al pueblo a sacrificar a Jehová.

And Moses said, Behold, I go out from you, and I will entreat the LORD that the swarms of flies may depart from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people, to morrow: but let not Pharaoh deal deceitfully any more in not letting the people go to sacrifice to the LORD.

30 Entonces Moisés salió de con Faraón, y oró a Jehová.

And Moses went out from Pharaoh, and entreated the LORD.

31 Y Jehová hizo conforme a la palabra de Moisés, y quitó todas las suertes de moscas de Faraón, y de sus siervos, y de su pueblo; que no quedó una.

And the LORD did according to the word of Moses; and he removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people; there remained not one.

32 Mas Faraón agravó aun esta vez su corazón, y no dejó ir el pueblo.

And Pharaoh hardened his heart at this time also, neither would he let the people go.
