Éxodo 40
1 Y Jehová habló a Moisés, diciendo:
The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
2 En el día del mes primero, el primero del mes harás levantar el tabernáculo, el tabernáculo del testimonio.
“On the first day of the first month you shall raise up the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting.
3 Y pondrás en él el arca del testimonio, y cubrirla has con el velo.
You shall put the ark of the covenant in it, and you shall screen the ark with the veil.
4 Y meterás la mesa, y ponerla has en orden: y meterás el candelero, y encenderás sus lámparas.
You shall bring in the table, and set in order the things that are on it. You shall bring in the lamp stand, and light its lamps.
5 Y pondrás el altar de oro para el perfume delante del arca del testimonio: y pondrás el pabellón de la puerta del tabernáculo.
You shall set the golden altar for incense before the ark of the covenant, and put the screen of the door to the tabernacle.
6 Después pondrás el altar del holocausto delante de la puerta del tabernáculo, del tabernáculo del testimonio.
“You shall set the altar of burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting.
7 Luego pondrás la fuente entre el tabernáculo del testimonio y el altar: y pondrás agua en ella.
You shall set the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and shall put water therein.
8 Finalmente pondrás el patio al rededor, y el pabellón de la puerta del patio.
You shall set up the court around it, and hang up the screen of the gate of the court.
9 Y tomarás el aceite de la unción, y ungirás el tabernáculo, y todo lo que estará en él, y santificarlo has con todos sus vasos, y será santo.
“You shall take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle and all that is in it, and shall make it holy, and all its furniture, and it will be holy.
10 Y ungirás también el altar del holocausto, y todos sus vasos: y santificarás el altar, y será el altar santidad de santidades.
You shall anoint the altar of burnt offering, with all its vessels, and sanctify the altar, and the altar will be most holy.
11 Asimismo ungirás la fuente y su basa, y santificarla has.
You shall anoint the basin and its base, and sanctify it.
12 Y harás llegar a Aarón y a sus hijos a la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio, y lavarlos has con agua.
“You shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the Tent of Meeting, and shall wash them with water.
13 Y harás vestir a Aarón las santas vestiduras, y ungirle has, y consagrarle has, para que sea mi sacerdote.
You shall put on Aaron the holy garments; and you shall anoint him, and sanctify him, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office.
14 Después harás llegar sus hijos, y vestirles has las túnicas.
You shall bring his sons, and put tunics on them.
15 Y ungirles has como ungiste a su padre, y serán mis sacerdotes: y será, que su unción les será por sacerdocio perpetuo por sus generaciones.
You shall anoint them, as you anointed their father, that they may minister to me in the priest’s office. Their anointing shall be to them for an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.”
16 E hizo Moisés conforme a todo lo que Jehová le mandó: así lo hizo.
Moses did so. According to all that the LORD commanded him, so he did.
17 Así en el mes primero, en el segundo año al primero del mes, el tabernáculo fue levantado.
In the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, the tabernacle was raised up.
18 E hizo Moisés levantar el tabernáculo, y puso sus basas, y puso sus tablas, y puso sus barras, e hizo alzar sus columnas.
Moses raised up the tabernacle, and laid its sockets, and set up its boards, and put in its bars, and raised up its pillars.
19 Y tendió la tienda sobre el tabernáculo, y puso el cobertor sobre el tabernáculo encima, como Jehová había mandado a Moisés.
He spread the covering over the tent, and put the roof of the tabernacle above on it, as the LORD commanded Moses.
20 Y tomó, y puso el testimonio en el arca; y puso las barras sobre el arca: y la cubierta sobre el arca encima.
He took and put the covenant into the ark, and set the poles on the ark, and put the mercy seat above on the ark.
21 Y metió el arca en el tabernáculo: y puso el velo de la tienda, y cubrió el arca del testimonio, como Jehová había mandado a Moisés.
He brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the veil of the screen, and screened the ark of the covenant, as the LORD commanded Moses.
22 Y puso la mesa en el tabernáculo del testimonio al lado del aquilón del pabellón fuera del velo.
He put the table in the Tent of Meeting, on the north side of the tabernacle, outside of the veil.
23 Y sobre ella puso por orden los panes delante de Jehová, como Jehová había mandado a Moisés.
He set the bread in order on it before the LORD, as the LORD commanded Moses.
24 Y puso el candelero en el tabernáculo del testimonio en frente de la mesa, al lado del mediodía del pabellón.
He put the lamp stand in the Tent of Meeting, opposite the table, on the south side of the tabernacle.
25 Y encendió las lámparas delante de Jehová, como Jehová había mandado a Moisés.
He lit the lamps before the LORD, as the LORD commanded Moses.
26 Puso también el altar de oro en el tabernáculo del testimonio, delante del velo.
He put the golden altar in the Tent of Meeting before the veil;
27 Y encendió sobre él el perfume aromático, como Jehová había mandado a Moisés.
and he burned incense of sweet spices on it, as the LORD commanded Moses.
28 Puso asimismo el pabellón de la puerta del tabernáculo.
He put up the screen of the door to the tabernacle.
29 Y puso el altar del holocausto a la puerta del tabernáculo, del tabernáculo del testimonio: y ofreció sobre el holocausto y presente, como Jehová había mandado a Moisés.
He set the altar of burnt offering at the door of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the meal offering, as the LORD commanded Moses.
30 Y puso la fuente entre el tabernáculo del testimonio y el altar: y puso en ella agua para lavar.
He set the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and put water therein, with which to wash.
31 Y lavaban en ella Moisés, y Aarón, y sus hijos sus manos y sus pies.
Moses, Aaron, and his sons washed their hands and their feet there.
32 Cuando entraban en el tabernáculo del testimonio, y cuando se llegaban al altar se lavaban, como Jehová había mandado a Moisés.
When they went into the Tent of Meeting, and when they came near to the altar, they washed, as the LORD commanded Moses.
33 Finalmente levantó el patio en derredor del tabernáculo y del altar, y puso el pabellón de la puerta del patio: y así acabó Moisés la obra.
He raised up the court around the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the screen of the gate of the court. So Moses finished the work.
34 Entonces una nube cubrió el tabernáculo del testimonio, y la gloria de Jehová hinchió el tabernáculo.
Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the LORD’s glory filled the tabernacle.
35 Y no podía Moisés entrar en el tabernáculo del testimonio, porque la nube estaba sobre él, y la gloria de Jehová lo tenía lleno.
Moses wasn’t able to enter into the Tent of Meeting, because the cloud stayed on it, and the LORD’s glory filled the tabernacle.
36 Y cuando la nube se alzaba del tabernáculo, los hijos de Israel se movían en todas sus partidas.
When the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward, throughout all their journeys;
37 Y si la nube no se alzaba, no se partían, hasta el día que ella se alzaba.
but if the cloud wasn’t taken up, then they didn’t travel until the day that it was taken up.
38 Porque la nube de Jehová estaba de día sobre el tabernáculo, y el fuego estaba de noche en él, en ojos de toda la casa de Israel en todas sus partidas.
For the cloud of the LORD was on the tabernacle by day, and there was fire in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.
