Éxodo 28
1 Y tú haz llegar a ti a Aarón tu hermano, y a sus hijos consigo de entre los hijos de Israel, para que sean mis sacerdotes, Aarón, Nadab y Abiú, Eleazar, e Itamar hijos de Aarón.
Thou thyself, therefore bring near unto thee—Aaron thy brother and his sons with him out of the midst of the sons of Israel, that they may minister as priests unto me, —Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar sons of Aaron.
2 Y harás vestidos santos para Aarón tu hermano, para honra, y hermosura.
And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, —for glory and for beauty.
3 Y tú hablarás a todos los que fueren sabios de corazón, los cuales yo he henchido de espíritu de sabiduría, para que hagan los vestidos de Aarón para santificarle, para que sea mi sacerdote.
Thou thyself, therefore, shalt speak unto all the wise-hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, —and they shall make Aaron’s garments, to hallow him for ministering as priest unto me.
4 Los vestidos que harán, serán estos: El pectoral, y el efod, y el manto, y la túnica listada, la mitra, y el cinto. Y hagan los santos vestidos a Aarón tu hermano, y a sus hijos, para que sean mis sacerdotes.
These, therefore are the garments which they shall make—a breastpiece, and an ephod and a robe, and a tunic of checker work, a turban and a girdle, —so shall they make holy garments for Aaron thy brother and for his sons, for ministering as priests unto me.
5 Los cuales tomarán oro, y cárdeno, y púrpura, y carmesí, y lino fino,
They themselves, therefore, shall take the gold, and the blue and the purple, —and the crimson, and the fine linen.
6 Y harán el efod de oro, y cárdeno, y púrpura, y carmesí, y lino torcido de obra de bordador.
And they shall make the ephod, —of gold, blue and purple crimson and fine-twined linen, the work of a skilful weaver.
7 Tendrá dos hombreras que se junten a sus dos lados, y así se juntará.
Two joining shoulderpieces, shall there be to it upon the two extremities thereof that it may be joined together,
8 Y el artificio de su cinta que estará sobre él, será de su misma obra, de lo mismo, es a saber, de oro, cárdeno, y púrpura, y carmesí, y lino torcido.
And the curious band for fastening it, that is upon it, like the work thereof of the same, shall it be, —of gold blue and purple and crimson and fine-twined linen,
9 Y tomarás dos piedras oniquinas, y grabarás en ellas los nombres de los hijos de Israel;
And thou shalt take two onyx stones, —and engrave upon them the names of the sons of Israel:
10 Los seis de sus nombres en la una piedra, y los otros seis nombres en la otra piedra conforme a sus nacimientos.
six of their names, on the one stone, —and the names of the six that remain, on the second stone according to their births:
11 De obra de maestro de piedras harás grabar de grabaduras de sello aquellas dos piedras de los nombres de los hijos de Israel; harásles al derredor engastes de oro.
with the work of a stone engraver, like seal-ring engravings, shalt thou engrave the two stones, after the names of the sons of Israel, —to be encircled with settings of gold, shalt thou make them.
12 Y aquellas dos piedras pondrás sobre los hombros del efod, serán piedras de memoria a los hijos de Israel; y Aarón llevará los nombres de ellos delante de Jehová en sus dos hombros por memoria.
And thou shalt put the two stones upon the shoulderpieces of the ephod, as stones of memorial for the sons of Israel, —so shall Aaron bear their names before Yahweh upon his two shoulders, for a memorial.
13 Y harás los engastes de oro;
And thou shalt make ouches of gold;
14 Y dos cadenas pequeñas de fino oro, las cuales harás de hechura de trenza, y pondrás las cadenas de hechura de trenza en los engastes.
and two chains of pure gold, like cord, shalt thou make them, of wreathen work, and thou shalt put the wreathen chains on the ouches.
15 Ítem, harás el pectoral del juicio; de obra artificiosa hacerlo has conforme a la obra del efod, de oro, y cárdeno, y púrpura, y carmesí, y lino torcido.
And thou shalt make a breastpiece for giving sentence the work of a skilful weaver, like the work of the ephod, shalt thou make it, of gold, blue, and purple and crimson and fine-twined linen, shalt thou make it.
16 Será cuadrado doblado, de un palmo de longura, y de un palmo de anchura.
Four-square, shall it be double, —a span the length thereof and a span the breadth thereof.
17 Y henchirlo has de pedrería con cuatro ordenes de piedras. El orden: un rubí, una esmeralda, y una crisólita, el primer orden.
And thou shalt set therein a setting of stones, four rows of stones, —one row—a sardius, a topaz and an emerald, the first row;
18 El segundo orden, un carbunclo, un zafiro, y un diamante.
and the second row a carbuncle a sapphire and a diamond;
19 El tercer orden, un topacio, una turquesa, y un ametisto.
and the third row an opal, an agate, and an amethyst;
20 Y el cuarto orden, un tarsis, un ónix, y un jaspe, engastadas en oro en sus engastes.
and the fourth row, a Tarshish stone, a sardonyx, and a jasper, —enclosed with gold, shall they be when they are set.
21 Y serán aquellas piedras según los nombres de los hijos de Israel, doce según sus nombres, como grabaduras de sello, cada uno, según su nombre, serán a las doce tribus.
And the stones shall be after the names of the sons of Israel—twelve, after their names, —as the engravings of a seal-ring everyone after his name, shall they be, for the twelve tribes,
22 Harás también en el pectoral cadenas pequeñas de hechura de trenzas de oro fino.
And thou shalt make, upon the breastpiece, chains like cords of wreathen work, —of pure gold.
23 Y harás en el pectoral dos sortijas de oro, las cuales dos sortijas pondrás a los dos cabos del pectoral.
And thou shalt make, upon the breastpiece, two rings of gold, —and thou shalt place the two rings, upon the two ends of the breastpiece.
24 Y pondrás las dos trenzas de oro en las dos sortijas, en los cabos del pectoral.
And thou shalt hang the two wreathen chains of gold upon the two rings, —upon the ends of the breastpiece;
25 Y los otros dos cabos de las dos trenzas sobre los dos engastes, y ponerlas has a los lados del efod en la parte delantera.
and the other two ends of the two wreathen chains, shalt thou fasten upon the two ouches, so shalt thou hang them upon the shoulderpieces of the ephod, in the forefront thereof.
26 Harás también otras dos sortijas de oro, las cuales pondrás en los dos cabos del pectoral en su orilla que está al cabo del efod de la parte de abajo.
And thou shalt make two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the breastpiece upon the border thereof, which is on the side of the ephod inwards.
27 Harás asimismo otras dos sortijas de oro las cuales pondrás a los dos lados del efod, abajo en la parte delantera, delante de su juntura, sobre el cinto del efod.
And thou shalt make two rings of gold, and place them upon the two shoulderpieces of the ephod beneath, on the front of the face thereof, over against its joining, above the curious band of the ephod:
28 Y juntarán el pectoral con sus sortijas a las sortijas del efod con un cordón de cárdeno, para que esté sobre el cinto del efod, y no se aparte el pectoral del efod.
that they may bind the breastpiece by the rings thereof unto the rings of the ephod with a cord of blue, so that it may remain upon the curious band of the ephod, and the breastpiece not be removed from of the ephod.
29 Y llevará Aarón los nombres de los hijos de Israel en el pectoral del juicio sobre su corazón, cuando entrare en el santuario en memoria delante de Jehová continuamente.
So shall Aaron bear the names of the sons of Israel in the breastpiece for giving sentence upon his heart when he goeth into the holy place, —for a memorial before Yahweh continually.
30 Y pondrás en el pectoral del juicio Urim y Tumim para que estén sobre el corazón de Aarón, cuando entrare delante de Jehová: y llevará Aarón el juicio de los hijos de Israel sobre su corazón siempre delante de Jehová.
Thus shalt thou place, in the breastpiece for giving sentence, the lights and the perfections, so shall they be upon the heart of Aaron when he goeth in before Yahweh, —so shall Aaron bear the sentence of the sons of Israel, upon his heart before Yahweh continually.
31 Harás el manto del efod todo de cárdeno.
And thou shalt make the robe of the ephod wholly of blue;
32 Y tendrá el collar de su cabeza en medio de él, el cual tendrá un borde al rededor de obra de tejedor, como un collar de un coselete, que no se rompa.
and the opening for his head shall be in the midst thereof, —a border, shall there be to the opening thereof round about the work of a weaver, like the opening of a coat of mail, shall there be to it, it must not be rent.
33 Y harás en sus orladuras granadas de cárdeno, y púrpura, y carmesí, por sus orladuras al derredor; y unas campanillas de oro entre ellas al rededor.
And thou shalt make upon the skirts thereof pomegranates of blue and purple and crimson, upon the skirts thereof round about—and bells of gold in the midst of them round about:
34 Una campanilla de oro y una granada, otra campanilla de oro y otra granada, por las orladuras del manto al derredor.
a bell of gold and a pomegranate, a bell of gold, and a pomegranate, —upon the skirts of the robe, round about.
35 Y estará sobre Aarón cuando ministrare, y oírse ha su sonido cuando él entrare en el santuario delante de Jehová, y cuando saliere: Y no morirá.
And it shall be upon Aaron, for ministering, —so shall be heard the sound of him—when he goeth into the holy place, before Yahweh, and cometh out, and dieth not.
36 Ítem, harás una plancha de oro fino, y grabarás en ella de grabadura de sello, Santidad a Jehová.
And thou shalt make a burnished plate, of pure gold, —and shalt engrave thereupon, like the engravings of a seal-ring, Holiness to Yahweh.
37 Y ponerla has con un cordón cárdeno, y estará sobre la mitra; delante la delantera de la mitra estará.
And thou shalt put it upon a cord of blue, so shall it be upon the turban, —upon the forefront of the turban, shall it be.
38 Y estará sobre la frente de Aarón, y Aarón llevará el pecado de las santificaciones, que los hijos de Israel santificaren en todas las ofrendas de sus santificaciones, y sobre su frente estará continuamente, para que hayan gracia delante de Jehová.
So shall it be upon the forehead of Aaron, and Aaron shall bear the iniquity of the hallowed things, which the sons of Israel shall hallow, for all their hallowed gift, —and it shall be upon his forehead continually, that there may be acceptance for them before Yahweh.
39 Ítem, bordarás una túnica de lino, y harás una mitra de lino, harás también un cinto de obra de recamador:
And thou shalt weave, in checker work the tunic of fine linen, and shalt make a turban of fine linen, —and, a girdle, shalt thou make the work of an embroiderer.
40 Mas a los hijos de Aarón harás túnicas: hacerles has también cintos, y hacerles has chapeos para honra y hermosura;
And, for the sons of Aaron, shalt thou make tunics, and shalt make for them girdles, —and caps, shalt thou make for them, for glory and for beauty.
41 Y con ellos vestirás a Aarón tu hermano, y a sus hijos con él; y ungirlos has y henchirás sus manos, y santificarlos has para que sean mis sacerdotes.
And thou shalt clothe therewith Aaron thy brother, and his sons, with him, —and shalt anoint them and install them, and hallow them, so shall they minister as priests unto me.
42 Y hacerles has pañetes de lino para cubrir la carne vergonzosa: serán desde los lomos hasta los muslos.
And thou shalt make for them breeches of linen, to cover their unseemliness, from the loins even unto the thighs, shall they be;
43 Y estarán sobre Aarón y sobre sus hijos cuando entraren en el tabernáculo del testimonio, o cuando se llegaren al altar para servir en el santuario; y no llevarán pecado, y no morirán. Estatuto perpetuo para él, y para su simiente después de él.
so shall they be upon Aaron and upon his sons, when they go into the tent of meeting, or when they approach unto the altar, to minister in the holy place, lest they bear iniquity, and die, —a statute age-abiding, to him and to his seed after him.
