Éxodo 10
1 Y Jehová dijo a Moisés: Entra a Faraón, porque yo he agravado su corazón, y el corazón de sus siervos, para dar entre ellos estas mis señales:
Then said Yahweh unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh, —for, I, have suffered his heart to be dull and the heart of his servants, that I may show these my signs, in their midst;
2 Y para que cuentes a tus hijos y a tus nietos las cosas que yo hice en Egipto, y mis señales, que yo di entre ellos: y para que sepáis que yo soy Jehová.
and that thou mayest recount in the ears of thy son and thy sons’ son, what I did in derision of the Egyptians, and my signs which I displayed among them, —so shall ye know that I, am Yahweh.
3 Entonces vino Moisés y Aarón a Faraón, y dijéronle: Jehová, el Dios de los Hebreos, ha dicho así: ¿Hasta cuando no querrás humillarte delante de mí? Deja ir a mi pueblo, para que me sirvan:
And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him—Thus, saith Yahweh, God of the Hebrews, How long hast thou refused to humble thyself before me? Let my people go that they may serve me.
4 Y si aun rehusas de dejarle ir, he aquí que yo traeré mañana langosta en tus términos,
But if, refusing, thou art to let my people go, behold me bringing in tomorrow a locust within thy bounds;
5 La cual cubrirá la haz de la tierra, que la tierra no pueda ser vista, y ella comerá lo que quedó salvo, lo que os ha quedado del granizo: y comerá todo árbol que os produce fruto en el campo.
and it shall cover the eye of the land, so that one shall not be able to see the land, —and it shall eat the residue that hath escaped, that is left you from the hail, and shall eat up all the trees that sprout for you out of the field;
6 Y henchirse han tus casas; y las casas de todos tus siervos, y las casas de todos los Egipcios, cual nunca vieron tus padres, ni tus abuelos desde que ellos fueron sobre la tierra hasta hoy. Y volvióse, y salió de con Faraón.
and they shall fill thy houses, and the houses of all thy servants and the houses of all the Egyptians, such as thy fathers and thy fathers’ fathers have never seen, from the day they came to be on the ground, until this day. And he turned away, and came out from the presence of Pharaoh.
7 Entonces los siervos de Faraón le dijeron: ¿Hasta cuándo nos ha de ser este por lazo? Deja ir estos hombres, para que sirvan a Jehová su Dios: ¿Aun no sabes que Egipto está destruido?
Then said the servants of Pharaoh unto him, How long shall this [man] become to us a snare? Let the men go, that they may serve Yahweh their God. Not yet, knowest thou, that Egypt is, ruined?
8 Y Moisés y Aarón fueron tornados a llamar a Faraón, el cual les dijo: Andád, servíd a Jehová vuestro Dios. ¿Quién y quién son los que han de ir?
So Moses and Aaron were brought back unto pharaoh, and he said unto them—Go, serve Yahweh your God, —who, are they that are going?
9 Y Moisés respondió: Nosotros hemos de ir con nuestros niños, y con nuestros viejos, con nuestros hijos y con nuestras hijas: con nuestras ovejas y con nuestras vacas hemos de ir; porque tenemos solemnidad de Jehová.
And Moses said, With our young and with our old, will we go, —with our sons and with our daughters with our flocks and with our herds, will we go, —for, the festival of Yahweh, is ours.
10 Y él les dijo: Así sea Jehová con vosotros como yo os dejaré ir a vosotros y a vuestros niños: mirád la malicia que está delante de vuestro rostro.
Then he said unto them: Let Yahweh, so, be with you, when I let go you and your little ones! Look out for, harm, is straight before your faces.
11 No será así. Andád ahora los varones, y servíd a Jehová; porque esto es lo que vosotros demandasteis. Y echáronlos de delante de Faraón.
Not so! Go, I pray you, ye grown men and serve Yahweh, for, that, is what, ye, were seeking. And they were driven out from the presence of Pharaoh.
12 Entonces Jehová dijo a Moisés: Extiende tu mano sobre la tierra de Egipto para langosta, para que suba sobre la tierra de Egipto; y pazca todo lo que el granizo dejó.
Then said Yahweh unto Moses—Stretch forth thy hand over the land of Egypt for the locust, that it may come up over the land of Egypt, —and may eat up every herb of the land, all that the hail hath left.
13 Y extendió Moisés su vara sobre la tierra de Egipto, y Jehová trajo un viento oriental sobre la tierra todo aquel día, y toda aquella noche; y a la mañana el viento oriental trajo la langosta.
And Moses stretched forth his staff over the land of Egypt, and, Yahweh, caused an east wind to drive through the land, all that day, and all the night, —when the morning, had come, the east wind, had brought the locust.
14 Y subió la langosta sobre toda la tierra de Egipto, y asentóse en todos los términos de Egipto, en gran manera grave: antes de ella no hubo tal langosta; ni después de ella vendrá otra tal.
And the locust came up over all the land of Egypt, and settled in all the bounds of Egypt, —very grievous, before it, had not been such a locust as that, neither after it, should be one like it.
15 Y cubrió la haz de toda la tierra, y la tierra se oscureció, y comió toda la yerba de la tierra, y todo el fruto de los árboles, que había dejado el granizo, que no quedó cosa verde en árboles ni en la yerba del campo por toda la tierra de Egipto.
So it covered the eye of all the land and the land was darkened, and it did eat every herb of the land and all the fruit of the trees, which the hail had left remaining, —so that there was not left remaining any green sprout in the trees or in the herb of the field in all the land of Egypt.
16 Entonces Faraón hizo llamar a priesa a Moisés y a Aarón, y dijo: Yo he pecado contra Jehová vuestro Dios, y contra vosotros.
Then hastened Pharaoh, to call for Moses and for Aaron, —and said—I have sinned against Yahweh your God, and against you.
17 Mas yo ruego ahora que perdones mi pecado solamente esta vez, y que oréis a Jehová vuestro Dios, que quite de mí solamente esta muerte.
Now, therefore, forgive I pray you my sin—only this time, and make entreaty to Yahweh your God, —that he may take away from me, at least, this death.
18 Y salió de con Faraón, y oró a Jehová.
So he came out from Pharaoh, —and made entreaty unto Yahweh;
19 Y Jehová volvió un viento occidental fortísimo, y quitó la langosta, y echóla en el mar Bermejo: ni aun una langosta quedó en todo el término de Egipto.
and Yahweh turned back a west wind strong exceedingly, and carried away the locust and cast it into the Red Sea, —there was not left a single locust in all the bounds of Egypt.
20 Y Jehová endureció el corazón de Faraón, y no envió los hijos de Israel.
But Yahweh suffered the heart of Pharaoh to wax bold, —and he did not let the sons of Israel go.
21 Y Jehová dijo a Moisés: Extiende tu mano hacia el cielo, para que sean tinieblas sobre la tierra de Egipto, tales que cualquiera las palpe.
Then said Yahweh unto Moses: Stretch forth thy hand over the heavens, that there may be darkness, over the land of Egypt, —and that one may feel the darkness.
22 Y extendió Moisés su mano hacia el cielo; y fueron tinieblas oscuras tres días por toda la tierra de Egipto.
So Moses stretched forth his hand over the heavens, —and there was thick darkness in all the land of Egypt for three days;
23 Ninguno vio a su prójimo, ni nadie se levantó de su lugar en tres días; mas todos los hijos de Israel tenían luz en sus habitaciones.
they saw not one another neither rose any man from his couch for three days, —but all the sons of Israel, had light in their dwellings.
24 Entonces Faraón hizo llamar a Moisés, y dijo: Id, servíd a Jehová; solamente queden vuestras ovejas y vuestras vacas; vayan también vuestros niños con vosotros.
Then Pharaoh called out unto Moses and said—Go serve Yahweh, only, your flocks and your herds, shall be left, —even your little ones shall go with you.
25 Y Moisés respondió: Tú también nos darás en nuestras manos sacrificios y holocaustos; que sacrifiquemos a Jehová nuestro Dios.
And Moses said, Even thou thyself, shalt give into our hands sacrifices and ascending-offerings, —so shall we present offerings to Yahweh our God.
26 Nuestros ganados irán también con nosotros: no quedará ni aun una uña; porque de ellos hemos de tomar para servir a Jehová nuestro Dios: que tampoco nosotros sabemos, aun con qué hemos de servir a Jehová, hasta que vengamos allá.
Moreover also, our own cattle, shall go with us—there shall not be left behind, a hoof, for thereof, must we take, to serve Yahweh our God, —even we ourselves, cannot know wherewith we must serve Yahweh, until we have come in thither.
27 Mas Jehová endureció el corazón de Faraón, y no quiso dejarlos ir.
And Yahweh let the heart of Pharaoh wax bold, —and he was not willing to let them go.
28 Y díjole Faraón: Vete de mí, guárdate que no veas más mi rostro, porque en cualquier día, que vieres mi rostro, morirás.
So Pharaoh said to him—Get thee from me, —take heed to thyself—do not any more! see my face, for in the day thou dost see my face, thou shalt die.
29 Y Moisés respondió: Bien has dicho: yo no veré más tu rostro.
And Moses said—Well hast thou spoken, —no more again to see thy face.
