Daniel 9
1 En el año primero de Darío, hijo de Asuero, de la nación de los Medos, el cual fue puesto por rey sobre el reino de los Caldeos:
In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, which was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans;
2 En el año primero de su reino, yo Daniel miré atentamente en los libros el número de los años del cual habló Jehová al profeta Jeremías, que había de fenecer la asolación de Jerusalem en setenta años.
In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.
3 Y volví mi rostro al Señor Dios, buscándole en oración, y ruego, en ayuno, y cilicio, y ceniza.
And I set my face to the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:
4 Y oré a Jehová mi Dios, y confesé, y dije: Ahora, Señor, Dios grande, digno de ser temido, que guardas el concierto y la misericordia con los que te aman, y guardan tus mandamientos.
And I prayed to the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;
5 Hemos pecado, hemos hecho iniquidad, hemos hecho impíamente, y hemos sido rebeldes, y nos hemos apartado de tus mandamientos, y de tus juicios.
We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from your precepts and from your judgments:
6 No hemos obedecido a tus siervos los profetas que en tu nombre hablaron a nuestros reyes, y a nuestros príncipes, a nuestros padres, y a todo el pueblo de la tierra.
Neither have we listened to your servants the prophets, which spoke in your name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land.
7 Tuya es, Señor, la justicia, y nuestra la confusión de rostro, como el día de hoy es a todo hombre de Judá, y a los moradores de Jerusalem, y a todo Israel, a los de cerca, y a los de lejos, en todas las tierras donde los has echado, a causa de su rebelión con que rebelaron contra ti.
O LORD, righteousness belongs to you, but to us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries where you have driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against you.
8 O! Jehová, nuestra es la confusión de rostro: de nuestros reyes, de nuestros príncipes, y de nuestros padres, porque pecamos a ti.
O Lord, to us belongs confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against you.
9 De Jehová nuestro Dios es el tener misericordia, y el perdonar, aunque nosotros nos rebelamos contra él.
To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him;
10 Y no obedecimos a la voz de Jehová nuestro Dios para andar por sus leyes, las cuales él dio delante de nosotros por mano de sus siervos los profetas.
Neither have we obeyed the voice of the LORD our God, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets.
11 Y todo Israel traspasó tu ley, apartándose por no oír tu voz: por lo cual la maldición y la jura que está escrita en la ley de Moisés, siervo de Dios, ha destilado sobre nosotros, porque pecamos contra él.
Yes, all Israel have transgressed your law, even by departing, that they might not obey your voice; therefore the curse is poured on us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him.
12 Y él afirmó su palabra que habló sobre nosotros, y sobre nuestros jueces, que nos gobernaron, trayendo sobre nosotros tan grande mal: que nunca fue hecho debajo del cielo, cual el que fue hecho en Jerusalem.
And he has confirmed his words, which he spoke against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing on us a great evil: for under the whole heaven has not been done as has been done on Jerusalem.
13 Como está escrito en la ley de Moisés, todo aquel mal vino sobre nosotros: y nunca rogamos a la faz de Jehová nuestro Dios, para convertirnos de nuestras maldades, y entender tu verdad.
As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come on us: yet made we not our prayer before the LORD our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand your truth.
14 Y apresuróse Jehová sobre el castigo, y trájolo sobre nosotros; porque es justo Jehová nuestro Dios en todas sus obras que hizo, porque no obedecimos a su voz.
Therefore has the LORD watched on the evil, and brought it on us: for the LORD our God is righteous in all his works which he does: for we obeyed not his voice.
15 Ahora pues Señor Dios nuestro, que sacaste tu pueblo de la tierra de Egipto con mano poderosa, y ganaste para ti nombre como este día, pecamos, impíamente hemos hecho.
And now, O Lord our God, that have brought your people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and have gotten you renown, as at this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly.
16 O! Señor, según todas tus justicias, apártese ahora tu ira y tu furor de sobre tu ciudad Jerusalem, tu santo monte; porque a causa de nuestros pecados, y por la maldad de nuestros padres, Jerusalem y tu pueblo es dado en vergüenza a todos nuestros al derredores.
O LORD, according to all your righteousness, I beseech you, let your anger and your fury be turned away from your city Jerusalem, your holy mountain: because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and your people are become a reproach to all that are about us.
17 Ahora pues Dios nuestro, oye la oración de tu siervo, y sus ruegos; y haz que tu rostro resplandezca sobre tu santuario asolado, por el Señor.
Now therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of your servant, and his supplications, and cause your face to shine on your sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord’s sake.
18 Inclina, o! Dios mío, tu oído, y oye: abre tus ojos, y mira nuestros asolamientos, y la ciudad, sobre la cual es llamado tu nombre; porque no confiados en nuestras justicias derramamos nuestros ruegos delante de tu presencia, mas en tus muchas misericordias.
O my God, incline your ear, and hear; open your eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by your name: for we do not present our supplications before you for our righteousnesses, but for your great mercies.
19 Oye, Señor: Perdona, Señor: Está atento, Señor, y haz: no pongas dilación por ti mismo, Dios mío; porque tu nombre es llamado sobre tu ciudad, y sobre tu pueblo.
O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, listen and do; defer not, for your own sake, O my God: for your city and your people are called by your name.
20 Aun estaba hablando, y orando, y confesaba mi pecado, y el pecado de mi pueblo Israel, y derramaba mi ruego delante de Jehová mi Dios, por el monte santo de mi Dios:
And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God for the holy mountain of my God;
21 Aun estaba hablando en oración, y aquel varón Gabriel, al cual había visto en visión al principio, volando con vuelo me tocó, como a la hora del sacrificio de la tarde.
Yes, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.
22 E hízome entender, y habló conmigo, y dijo: Daniel, ahora he salido, para hacerte entender la declaración.
And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give you skill and understanding.
23 Al principio de tus ruegos salió la palabra, y yo he venido para enseñártela, porque tú eres varón de deseos. Entiende pues la palabra, y entiende la visión.
At the beginning of your supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to show you; for you are greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.
24 Setenta semanas están determinadas sobre tu pueblo, y sobre tu santa ciudad, para fenecer la prevaricación, y concluir el pecado, y expiar la iniquidad, y para traer la justicia de los siglos, y para sellar la visión y la profecía, y ungir la santidad de santidades.
Seventy weeks are determined on your people and on your holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
25 Sepas pues, y entiendas, que desde la salida de la palabra para hacer volver el pueblo, y edificar a Jerusalem, hasta el Mesías Príncipe habrá siete semanas, sesenta y dos semanas; entre tanto se tornará a edificar la plaza, y el muro en tiempos angustiosos.
Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem to the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and three score and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
26 Y después de las sesenta y dos semanas el Mesías será muerto, y no por sí; y el pueblo príncipe viniendo destruirá la ciudad, y el santuario, cuyo fin será como con avenida de aguas: hasta que al fin de la guerra sea talada con asolamiento.
And after three score and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and to the end of the war desolations are determined.
27 Y en otra semana confirmará el concierto a muchos: a la mitad de la semana hará cesar el sacrificio, y el presente; y a causa del ala de las abominaciones vendrá asolamiento, hasta que perfecto acabamiento se derrame sobre el pueblo asolado.
And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the middle of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured on the desolate.
