2 Pedro 1
1 Simón Pedro, siervo y apóstol de Jesu Cristo, a los que han alcanzado fe igualmente preciosa con nosotros en la justicia de nuestro Dios y Salvador Jesu Cristo.
(Simon *NK(o)*) Peter a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ To those equally precious with ours having obtained a faith through [the] righteousness of the God of us and Savior Jesus Christ.
2 Gracia y paz os sean multiplicadas en el conocimiento de Dios, y de Jesús nuestro Señor:
Grace to you and peace would be multiplied in [the] knowledge of God and of Jesus the Lord of us.
3 Como todas las cosas que pertenecen a la vida y a la piedad, nos sean dadas de su divina potencia, por medio del conocimiento de aquel que nos ha llamado por su gloria y virtud,
Accordingly all things to us by the divine power of Him toward life and godliness having himself given through the knowledge of the [One who] having called us ([by His] own *N(K)O*) (glory *N(k)O*) and (excellence, *N(k)O*)
4 Por las cuales nos son dadas preciosas y grandísimas promesas; para que por ellas fueseis hechos participantes de la naturaleza divina, habiendo huido de la corrupción que está en el mundo por concupiscencia.
through which the precious and magnificent to us promises He has himself given, so that through these you may become of [the] divine partakers nature having escaped the in (the *no*) world in desire decay.
5 Vosotros también, poniendo toda diligencia en esto mismo, mostrád en vuestra fe virtud; y en la virtud ciencia;
And very [reason] for this now earnestness all having brought in do supplement into the faith of you virtue, into and virtue knowledge,
6 Y en la ciencia templaza; y en la templaza paciencia; y en la paciencia temor de Dios;
into then knowledge self-control, into then self-control endurance, into then endurance godliness,
7 Y en el temor de Dios amor hermanable; y en el amor hermanable caridad.
in then godliness brotherly affection, in then brotherly affection love.
8 Porque si en vosotros hay estas cosas, y abundan, no os dejarán estar ociosos, ni estériles en el conocimiento de nuestro Señor Jesu Cristo.
These things for in you being and abounding neither idle nor unfruitful make [you] as to the of the Lord of us Jesus Christ knowledge.
9 Empero el que no tiene estas cosas es ciego, y no puede ver de lejos, estando olvidado de la purgación de sus antiguos pecados.
In whomever for not are present these things, blind he is being short sighted, forgetfulness having received of the purification the former of him (sins. *NK(o)*)
10 Por lo cual, hermanos, tanto más trabajád de hacer firme vuestra vocación y elección; porque haciendo estas cosas, no caeréis jamás.
Therefore rather, brothers, do be diligent sure your calling and election to make; these things for practicing certainly not shall you stumble at any time.
11 Porque de esta manera os será abundantemente administrada la entrada en el reino eterno de nuestro Señor y Salvador Jesu Cristo. (aiōnios g166)
In this way for richly will be supplied to you the entrance into the eternal kingdom of the Lord of us and Savior Jesus Christ. (aiōnios g166)
12 Por lo cual yo no me descuidaré de recordaros siempre estas cosas, aunque vosotros las sepáis, y estéis confirmados en la verdad presente.
Therefore (I will be ready *N(K)O*) always you to remind concerning these things though knowing [them] and strengthened in the being present [in you] truth.
13 Porque tengo por justo, (en tanto que estoy en este tabernáculo, ) de excitaros por medio de recordamientos:
Right now I esteem it, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir up you by putting [you] in remembrance;
14 Sabiendo que brevemente tengo de dejar éste mi tabernáculo, como nuestro Señor Jesu Cristo me ha declarado.
knowing that imminent is the putting off of the tabernacle of mine, even as also the Lord of us Jesus Christ has made clear to me.
15 También yo procuraré con diligencia, que después de mi fallecimiento vosotros podáis tener siempre memoria de estas cosas.
I will be diligent now also at every time to have for you after my departure these things a lasting remembrance to make.
16 Porque nosotros no os habemos dado a conocer el poder y la venida de nuestro Señor Jesu Cristo, siguiendo fábulas por arte compuestas; sino como habiendo con nuestros propios ojos visto su majestad.
Not for contrived fables having followed we have made known to you the of the Lord of us Jesus Christ power and coming, but eyewitnesses having been of His majesty.
17 Porque él había recibido de Dios Padre honra y gloria, cuando una tal voz fue a él enviada de la magnífica gloria: Este es el amado Hijo mío, en el cual yo me he agradado.
Having received for from God [the] Father honor and glory a voice was brought to Him such as follows by the Majestic Glory: The Son of Mine beloved (of Mine *NO*) this is, in whom I myself found delight.
18 Y nosotros oímos esta voz enviada del cielo, cuando estábamos juntamente con él en el monte santo.
And this voice we ourselves heard from heaven having been brought with Him being in the holy (*ko*) mountain.
19 Tenemos también la palabra profética más firme: a la cual hacéis bien de estar atentos como a una candela que alumbra en un lugar oscuro, hasta que el día esclarezca, y el lucero de la mañana salga en vuestros corazones:
And we have more certain the prophetic word, to which well you do taking heed as to a lamp shining in [a] dark place until this day may have shone through may have shone through and [the] morning star may have arisen in the hearts of you;
20 Entendiendo primero esto, que ninguna profecía de la Escritura es de privado desatamiento.
this first knowing that any prophecy of Scripture of its own interpretation not is.
21 Porque la profecía no fue en los tiempos pasados traída por voluntad humana; mas los santos hombres de Dios hablaron, siendo inspirados del Espíritu Santo.
Not for by [the] will of man was brought prophecy at any time but by [the] Spirit Holy being carried spoke (*k*) (from *N(K)O*) of God men.
