2 Reyes 4

1 Una mujer de las mujeres de los hijos de los profetas clamó a Eliseo, diciendo: Tu siervo mi marido es muerto: y tú sabes que tu siervo era temeroso de Jehová: y ha venido el acreedor para tomarse dos hijos míos por siervos.

And a woman one from [the] wives of [the] sons of the prophets she cried out to Elisha saying servant your husband my he is dead and you you know that servant your he was fearing Yahweh and the creditor [is] about to come to take [the] two children my for himself to slaves.

2 Y Eliseo le dijo: ¿Qué te haré yo? declárame que tienes en casa. Y ella dijo: Tu sierva ninguna cosa tiene en casa, sino una botija de aceite.

And he said to her Elisha what? will I do for you tell to me what? [is] there ([belonging] to you *Q(k)*) in the house and she said not [belongs] to maidservant your anything in the house that except a jar of oil.

3 Y él le dijo: Vé, y demándate vasos emprestados de todos tus vecinos, vasos vacíos, no pocos.

And he said go ask for yourself vessels from the outside from with all (neighbors your *Q(k)*) vessels empty may not you make few.

4 Y entra y cierra la puerta tras ti, y tras tus hijos: y echa en todos los vasos, y en estando uno lleno, pónlo a parte.

And you will go and you will shut the door behind you and behind children your and you will pour out on all the vessels these and the full [one] you will set aside.

5 Y partió la mujer de él, y cerró la puerta tras sí y tras sus hijos, y ellos le llegaban los vasos, y ella echaba del aceite.

And she went from with him and she shut the door behind her and behind children her they [were] bringing to her and she ([was] pouring out. *Q(k)*)

6 Y como los vasos fueron llenos, dijo a su hijo: Llégame aun otro vaso. Y él dijo: No hay más vasos. Entonces el aceite cesó.

And it was - when were full the vessels and she said to son her bring near! to me still a vessel and he said to her there not still [is] a vessel and it stopped the oil.

7 Y ella vino, y díjolo al varón de Dios; el cual le dijo: Vé, y vende este aceite, y paga a tus acreedores: y tú y tus hijos vivíd de lo que quedare.

And she came and she told to [the] man of God and he said go sell the oil and pay (debt your *Q(K)*) and you (and children your *Q(K)*) you will live by the remainder.

8 Aconteció también, que un día Eliseo pasaba por Suna: y había allí una mujer principal, la cual le constriñó a que comiese del pan: y así cuando pasaba por allí, veníase a su casa a comer del pan.

And it was the day and he passed on Elisha to Shunem and [was] there a woman great and she urged him to eat food and it was as often as passed by he he turned aside there towards to eat food.

9 Y ella dijo a su marido: He aquí, ahora yo entiendo que este, que siempre pasa por nuestra casa, es varón de Dios santo.

And she said to husband her here! please I know that [is] a man of God holy he [who] passes by at us continually.

10 Yo te ruego que hagamos una pequeña cámara de paredes, y pongamos en ella cama, y mesa, y silla, y candelero, para que cuando viniere a nuestra casa, se recoja en ella.

Let us make please an upper room of a wall small and let us put for him there a bed and a table and a chair and a lampstand and it will be when comes he to us he will turn aside there towards.

11 Y aconteció, que un día él vino por allí, y recogióse en aquella cámara, y durmió en ella.

And it was the day and he came there towards and he turned aside to the upper room and he lay down there.

12 Entonces dijo a Giezi su criado: Llama a esta Sunamita. Y como él la llamó, ella pareció delante de él.

And he said to Gehazi servant his summon the Shunammite [woman] this and he summoned her and she stood before him.

13 Y él le dijo: Díle: He aquí, tú has estado solícita por nosotros en todo este cuidado: ¿qué quieres que haga por ti? ¿Has menester que hable por ti al rey, o al general del ejército? Y ella respondió: Yo habito en medio de mi pueblo.

And he said to him say please to her here! you have taken care - to us all the care this what? [is] to do for you ¿ [is] there to speak for you to the king or? to [the] commander of the army and she said in among own people my I [am] dwelling.

14 Y él dijo: ¿Qué pues haremos por ella? Y Giezi respondió: He aquí ella no tiene hijo, y su marido es viejo.

And he said and what? [is] to do for her and he said Gehazi indeed a son not [belongs] to her and husband her he is old.

15 Y él dijo: Llámala: y él la llamó: y ella se paró a la puerta.

And he said summon her and he summoned her and she stood at the entrance.

16 Y él le dijo: A este tiempo según el tiempo de la vida, abrazarás un hijo. Y ella dijo: No señor mío, varón de Dios, no hagas burla de tu sierva.

And he said to the appointed time this about the time living (you *Q(K)*) [will be] embracing a son and she said may [you] not O lord my O man of God may not you tell a lie to maidservant your.

17 Y la mujer concibió, y parió un hijo a aquel mismo tiempo que Eliseo le había dicho, según el tiempo de la vida.

And she conceived the woman and she gave birth to a son to the appointed time this about the time living which he had spoken to her Elisha.

18 Y como el niño fue grande aconteció, que un día salió a su padre a los segadores.

And he grew up the child and it was the day and he went out to father his to the harvesters.

19 Y dijo a su padre: Mi cabeza, mi cabeza. Y él dijo a un criado: Llévale a su madre.

And he said to father his head my - head my and he said to the servant carry him to mother his.

20 Y como él le tomó, y le trajo a su madre, estuvo sentado sobre sus rodillas hasta mediodía, y murióse.

And he carried him and he brought him to mother his and he sat on knees her until the noontide and he died.

21 Ella entonces subió, y púsole sobre la cama del varón de Dios: y cerró la puerta sobre él, y salió:

And she went up and she made lie him on [the] bed of [the] man of God and she shut behind him and she went out.

22 Y llamando a su marido, díjole: Ruégote que envíes conmigo a alguno de los criados, y una de las asnas, para que yo vaya corriendo al varón de Dios, y vuelva.

And she called to husband her and she said send! please to me one of the servants and one of the donkeys so I may run to [the] man of God so I may return.

23 Y él dijo: ¿Para qué has de ir a él hoy? no es nueva luna ni sábado. Y ella respondió: Paz.

And he said why? ([are] you *Q(K)*) (going *Q(k)*) to him this day not new moon and not sabbath and she said peace.

24 E hizo enalbardar un asna, y dijo al mozo: Guia y anda, y no me hagas detener para que suba, sino cuando yo te lo dijere.

And she saddled the donkey and she said to servant her lead on and go may not you hold back me to ride that except I have said to you.

25 Y partiéndose vino al varón de Dios al monte del Carmelo, y cuando el varón de Dios la vio de lejos, dijo a su criado Giezi: He allí la Sunamita.

And she went and she came to [the] man of God to [the] mountain of Carmel and it was when saw [the] man of God her from before and he said to Gehazi servant his there! [is] the Shunammite [woman] this.

26 Yo te ruego que vayas ahora corriendo a recibirla, y díle: ¿Tienes paz, y tu marido, y tu hijo? Y ella dijo: Paz.

Now run please to meet her and say to her ¿ [does] peace [belong] to you ¿ [does] peace [belong] to husband your ¿ [does] peace [belong] to the child and she said peace.

27 Y ella vino al varón de Dios en el monte, y asió de sus pies, y llegó Giezi para quitarla: mas el varón de Dios le dijo: Déjala; porque su alma está en amargura, y Jehová me lo ha encubierto, y no me lo ha revelado.

And she came to [the] man of God to the mountain and she took hold on feet his and he drew near Gehazi to drive away her and he said [the] man of God refrain to her for self her it is bitter to her and Yahweh he has hidden from me and not he has told to me.

28 Y ella dijo: ¿Pedí yo hijo a mi señor? ¿No dije yo, que no burlases de mi?

And she said ¿ did I ask for a son from with lord my ¿ not did I say not you must deceive me.

29 Entonces él dijo a Giezi: Ciñe tus lomos, y toma mi bordón en tu mano, y vé, y si alguno te encontrare, no le saludes, y si alguno te saludare, no le respondas. Y pondrás mi bordón sobre el rostro del niño.

And he said to Gehazi gird up loins your and take staff my in hand your and go if you will meet anyone not you must bless him and if he will bless you anyone not you must answer him and you will put staff my on [the] face of the lad.

30 Entonces dijo la madre del niño: Vive Jehová, y vive tu alma, que no te dejaré.

And she said [the] mother of the lad [by] [the] life of Yahweh and [by] [the] life of self your if I will leave you and he arose and he went after her.

31 Él entonces se levantó, y siguióla. Y Giezi había ido delante de ellos, y había puesto el bordón sobre el rostro del niño, mas ni tenía voz ni sentido, y así se había vuelto para encontrar a Eliseo, y declaróselo, diciendo: El mozo no despierta.

And Gehazi he passed on before them and he put the staff on [the] face of the lad and there not [was] a sound and there not [was] attention and he went back to meet him and he told to him saying not he has awakened the lad.

32 Y venido Eliseo a la casa, he aquí el niño que estaba tendido muerto sobre su cama.

And he came Elisha the house towards and there! the lad [was] dead laid on bed his.

33 Y entrando él, cerró la puerta sobre ambos, y oró a Jehová.

And he went and he shut the door behind [the] two of them and he prayed to Yahweh.

34 Y subió, y echóse sobre el niño, poniendo su boca sobre la boca de él, y sus ojos sobre los ojos de él, y sus manos sobre las manos de él: y así se tendió sobre él, y la carne del mozo se calentó.

And he went up and he lay on the child and he put mouth his on mouth his and eyes his on eyes his and palms his on (palms his *Q(K)*) and he crouched over him and it became warm [the] flesh of the child.

35 Y volviendo paseóse por casa a una parte y a otra, y después subió, y tendióse sobre él, y el mozo estornudó siete veces, y abrió sus ojos.

And he went back and he walked in the house one [time] hither and one [time] hither and he went up and he crouched over him and he sneezed the lad until seven times and he opened the lad eyes his.

36 Entonces él llamó a Giezi, y díjole: Llama a esta Sunamita. Y él la llamó: y entrando ella, él le dijo: Toma tu hijo.

And he summoned Gehazi and he said summon the Shunammite [woman] this and he summoned her and she came to him and he said take up son your.

37 Y ella entró, y echóse a sus pies, e inclinóse a tierra, y tomó su hijo, y se salió.

And she came and she fell at feet his and she bowed down [the] ground towards and she took up son her and she went out.

38 Y volvióse Eliseo a Gálgala. Y hubo grande hambre en la tierra. Entonces los hijos de los profetas estaban con él: y dijo a su criado: Pon una grande olla, y haz potaje para los hijos de los profetas.

And Elisha he returned Gilgal towards and famine [was] in the land and [the] sons of the prophets [were] sitting before him and he said to servant his put on the pot large and cook cooked food for [the] sons of the prophets.

39 Y salió uno al campo a coger yerbas: y halló una parra montés, y cogió de ella uvas monteses su ropa llena: y volvió, y cortólas en la olla del potaje: porque no sabían lo que era.

And he went out one [man] to the field to gather herbs and he found a vine of [the] field and he gathered from it gourds of [the] field [the] fullness of garment his and he came and he sliced [them] into [the] pot of the cooked food for not people knew.

40 Y echó de comer a los varones: y fue que comiendo ellos de aquel guisado, dieron voces, diciendo: Varón de Dios, la muerte en la olla. Y no lo pudieron comer.

And they poured [it] out for [the] men to eat and it was when ate they some of the cooked food and they they cried out and they said death [is] in the pot O man of God and not they were able to eat [it].

41 El entonces dijo: Traed harina. Y esparcióla en la olla, y dijo: Echa de comer al pueblo. Y no hubo más mal en la olla.

And he said and fetch flour and he threw [it] into the pot and he said pour [it] out for the people so they may eat and not it was a thing bad in the pot.

42 Ítem, un varón vino de Baal-salisa, el cual trajo al varón de Dios, panes de primicias, veinte panes de cebada, y espigas de trigo nuevo en su espiga. Y él dijo: Da al pueblo, y coman.

And a man he came from Baal Shalisha and he brought to [the] man of God bread of first-fruits twenty bread[s] of barley and new corn in sack his and he said give [it] to the people so they may eat.

43 Y respondió el que le servía: ¿Cómo pondré esto delante de cien varones? Y él tornó a decir: Da al pueblo, y coman: porque Jehová dijo así: Comerán, y sobrará.

And he said servant his what? will I put this before a hundred man and he said give [it] to the people so they may eat for thus he says Yahweh they will eat and they will have more than enough.

44 Entonces él lo puso delante de ellos: y comieron, y sobróles conforme a la palabra de Jehová.

And he put [it] before them and they ate and they had more than enough according to [the] word of Yahweh.
