2 Reyes 15

1 En el año veinte y siete de Jeroboam rey de Israel comenzó a reinar Azarías, hijo de Amasías, rey de Judá.

In the twenty-seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel, Azariah son of Amaziah, king of Judah, has reigned;

2 Cuando comenzó a reinar era de diez y seis años, y cincuenta y dos años reinó en Jerusalem. El nombre de su madre fue Jequelia de Jerusalem.

he was a son of sixteen years in his reigning, and he has reigned fifty-two years in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother [is] Jecholiah of Jerusalem,

3 Este hizo lo que era recto en ojos de Jehová, conforme a todas las cosas que su padre Amasías había hecho.

and he does that which [is] right in the eyes of YHWH, according to all that his father Amaziah did,

4 Con todo eso los altos no se quitaron, que aun el pueblo sacrificaba y quemaba perfumes en los altos.

only, the high places have not been removed—the people are still sacrificing and making incense in high places.

5 Mas Jehová hirió al rey con lepra, y fue leproso hasta el día de su muerte, y habitó en casa libre, y Joatam, hijo del rey, tenía el cargo del palacio, gobernando al pueblo de la tierra.

And YHWH strikes the king, and he is a leper to the day of his death, and he dwells in a separate house, and Jotham son of the king [is] over the house, judging the people of the land.

6 Lo demás de los hechos de Azarías, y todas las cosas que hizo, ¿no está escrito en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Judá?

And the rest of the matters of Azariah and all that he did, are they not written on the scroll of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?

7 Y durmió Azarías con sus padres, y sepultáronle con sus padres en la ciudad de David: y reinó en su lugar Joatam su hijo.

And Azariah lies with his fathers, and they bury him with his fathers in the city of David, and his son Jotham reigns in his stead.

8 En el año treinta y ocho de Azarías rey de Judá, reinó Zacarías, hijo de Jeroboam, sobre Israel en Samaria seis meses.

In the thirty-eighth year of Azariah king of Judah, Zechariah son of Jeroboam has reigned over Israel in Samaria, six months,

9 E hizo lo malo en ojos de Jehová, como habían hecho sus padres: no se apartó de los pecados de Jeroboam, hijo de Nabat, el que hizo pecar a Israel.

and he does evil in the eyes of YHWH as his fathers did; he has not turned aside from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat that he caused Israel to sin.

10 Contra este conjuró Sellum, hijo de Jabes, y le hirió en presencia del pueblo, y matóle, y reinó en su lugar.

And Shallum son of Jabesh conspires against him, and strikes him before the people, and puts him to death, and reigns in his stead.

11 Lo demás de los hechos de Zacarías, he aquí, está escrito en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Israel.

And the rest of the matters of Zechariah, behold, they are written on the scroll of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

12 Y esta fue la palabra de Jehová que había hablado a Jehú, diciendo: Tus hijos hasta la cuarta generación se te asentarán sobre el trono de Israel. Y así fue.

It [is] the word of YHWH that He spoke to Jehu, saying, “Sons of the fourth [generation] sit on the throne of Israel for you”; and it is so.

13 Sellum, hijo de Jabes, comenzó a reinar en el año treinta y nueve de Ozías rey de Judá: y reinó el tiempo de un mes en Samaria.

Shallum son of Jabesh has reigned in the thirty-ninth year of Uzziah king of Judah, and he reigns a month of days in Samaria;

14 Y subió Manajem, hijo de Gadi, de Tersa, y vino a Samaria, e hirió a Sellum, hijo de Jabes, en Samaria, y matóle, y reinó en su lugar.

and Menahem son of Gadi goes up from Tirzah and comes to Samaria, and strikes Shallum son of Jabesh in Samaria, and puts him to death, and reigns in his stead.

15 Lo demás de los hechos de Sellum, y su conjuración con que conjuró, he aquí, está escrito en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Israel.

And the rest of the matters of Shallum and his conspiracy that he made, behold, they are written on the scroll of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

16 Entonces hirió Manajem a Tapsam, y a todos los que estaban en ella, y también sus términos desde Tersa: e hirióla, porque no le habían abierto, y a todas sus preñadas abrió.

Then Menahem strikes Tiphsah, and all who [are] in it, and its borders from Tirzah, for it did not open [to him], and he strikes [it], [and] he has ripped up all its pregnant women.

17 En el año treinta y nueve de Azarías rey de Judá, reinó Manajem, hijo de Gadí, sobre Israel diez años en Samaria.

In the thirty-ninth year of Azariah king of Judah, Menahem son of Gadi has reigned over Israel in Samaria, ten years.

18 E hizo lo malo en ojos de Jehová: no se apartó de los pecados de Jeroboam, hijo de Nabat, el que hizo pecar a Israel, en todo su tiempo.

And he does evil in the eyes of YHWH; he has not turned aside from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat that he caused Israel to sin, all his days.

19 Y vino Ful rey de Asiria en la tierra, y dio Manajem a Ful mil talentos de plata porque le ayudase, para confirmarse en el reino.

Pul king of Asshur has come against the land, and Menahem gives one thousand talents of silver to Pul, for his hand being with him to strengthen the kingdom in his hand.

20 E impuso Manajem este dinero sobre Israel, sobre todos los poderosos de virtud, de cada varón cincuenta siclos de plata, para dar al rey de Asiria. Y el rey de Asiria se volvió, y no se detuvo allí en la tierra.

And Menahem brings out the silver [from] Israel, [from] all the mighty men of wealth, to give to the king of Asshur, fifty shekels of silver for each one, and the king of Asshur turns back and has not stayed there in the land.

21 Lo demás de los hechos de Manajem, y todas las cosas que hizo, ¿no está escrito en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Israel?

And the rest of the matters of Menahem and all that he did, are they not written on the scroll of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?

22 Y durmió Manajem con sus padres, y reinó en su lugar Faceia su hijo.

And Menahem lies with his fathers, and his son Pekahiah reigns in his stead.

23 En el año cincuenta de Azarías rey de Judá, reinó Faceia, hijo de Manajem, sobre Israel en Samaria dos años.

In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah, Pekahiah son of Menahem has reigned over Israel in Samaria, two years,

24 E hizo lo malo en ojos de Jehová: no se apartó de los pecados de Jeroboam, hijo de Nabat, el que hizo pecar a Israel.

and he does evil in the eyes of YHWH; he has not turned aside from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat that he caused Israel to sin.

25 Y conjuró contra él Facee, hijo de Romelías, su capitán, e hirióle en Samaria en el palacio de la casa real en compañía de Argob y de Arif, y con otros cincuenta hombres de los hijos de los Galaaditas, y matóle, y reinó en su lugar.

And Pekah son of Remaliah, his captain, conspires against him, and strikes him in Samaria, in the high place of the house of the king with Argob and Arieh; and fifty men of the sons of the Gileadites [were] with him, and he puts him to death, and reigns in his stead.

26 Lo demás de los hechos de Faceia, y todas las cosas que hizo, he aquí, todo está escrito en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Israel.

And the rest of the matters of Pekahiah and all that he did, behold, they are written on the scroll of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

27 En el año cincuenta y dos de Azarías rey de Judá, reinó Facee, hijo de Romelías, sobre Israel en Samaria veinte años.

In the fifty-second year of Azariah king of Judah, Pekah son of Remaliah has reigned over Israel in Samaria, twenty years,

28 E hizo lo malo en ojos de Jehová: no se apartó de los pecados de Jeroboam, hijo de Nabat, el que hizo pecar a Israel.

and he does evil in the eyes of YHWH, he has not turned aside from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat that he caused Israel to sin.

29 En los días de Facee rey de Israel, vino Teglat-palasar rey de los Asirios, y tomó a Aión, Abel, Bet-maaca, y Janoe, y Cedes, y Asor, y Galaad, y Galilea, y toda la tierra de Neftalí, y trasportólos a Asiria,

In the days of Pekah king of Israel, Tiglath-Pileser king of Asshur has come, and takes Ijon, and Abel-Beth-Maachah, and Janoah, and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Gilead, and Galilee, all the land of Naphtali, and removes them to Asshur.

30 Y Osee, hijo de Ela, hizo conjuración contra Facee, hijo de Romelías, e hirióle, y matóle, y reinó en su lugar a los veinte años de Joatam, hijo de Ozías.

And Hoshea son of Elah makes a conspiracy against Pekah son of Remaliah, and strikes him, and puts him to death, and reigns in his stead, in the twentieth year of Jotham son of Uzziah.

31 Lo demás de los hechos de Facee, y todas las cosas que hizo, he aquí, está escrito en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Israel.

And the rest of the matters of Pekah and all that he did, behold, they are written on the scroll of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

32 En el segundo año de Facee, hijo de Romelías rey de Israel, comenzó a reinar Joatam, hijo de Ozías rey de Judá.

In the second year of Pekah son of Remaliah, king of Israel, Jotham son of Uzziah, king of Judah, has reigned.

33 Cuando comenzó a reinar, era de veinte y cinco años, y reinó diez y seis años en Jerusalem. El nombre de su madre fue Jerusa, hija de Sadoc.

He was a son of twenty-five years in his reigning, and he has reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother [is] Jerusha daughter of Zadok,

34 Este hizo lo que era recto en ojos de Jehová; conforme a todas las cosas que había hecho su padre Ozías, hizo.

and he does that which [is] right in the eyes of YHWH; he has done according to all that his father Uzziah did.

35 Con todo eso los altos no fueron quitados, que aun el pueblo sacrificaba, y quemaba perfumes en los altos. Este también edificó la puerta más alta de la casa de Jehová.

Only, the high places have not been removed—the people are still sacrificing and making incense in high places; he has built the high gate of the house of YHWH.

36 Lo demás de los hechos de Joatam, y todas las cosas que hizo, ¿no está escrito en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Judá?

And the rest of the matters of Jotham and all that he did, are they not written on the scroll of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?

37 En aquel tiempo comenzó Jehová a enviar en Judá a Rasín rey de Siria, y a Facee, hijo de Romelías.

In those days YHWH has begun to send Rezin king of Amram and Pekah son of Remaliah against Judah.

38 Y durmió Joatam con sus padres, y fue sepultado con sus padres en la ciudad de David su padre: y reinó en su lugar Acaz su hijo.

And Jotham lies with his fathers, and is buried with his fathers in the city of his father David, and his son Ahaz reigns in his stead.
