2 Reyes 13
1 En el año veinte y tres de Joas, hijo de Ocozías, rey de Judá, comenzó a reinar Joacaz, hijo de Jehú, sobre Israel en Samaria, y reinó diez y siete años.
In the thre and twentithe yeer of Joas, sone of Ocozie, kyng of Juda, Joachaz, sone of Hieu, regnede on Israel, in Samarie seuentene yeer.
2 E hizo lo malo en ojos de Jehová, y siguió los pecados de Jeroboam, hijo de Nabat, el que hizo pecar a Israel, y no se apartó de ellos.
And he dide yuel bifor the Lord, and he suede the synnes of Jeroboam, sone of Nabath, that made Israel to do synne; and he bowide not awei fro tho.
3 Y encendióse el furor de Jehová contra Israel, y entrególos en mano de Hazael rey de Siria, y en mano de Ben-adad, hijo de Hazael, perpetuamente.
And the strong veniaunce of the Lord was wrooth ayens Israel, and he bitook hem in to the hondis of Azael, kyng of Sirie, and in the hond of Benadab, sone of Asael, in alle daies.
4 Mas Joacaz oró a la faz de Jehová, y Jehová le oyó: porque miró la aflicción de Israel, que el rey de Siria los afligía.
Forsothe Joachaz bisouyte the face of the Lord, and the Lord herde hym; for he siy the anguysch of Israel, for the kyng of Sirie hadde al to brokun hem.
5 Y dio Jehová salvador a Israel, y salieron de debajo de la mano de Siria, y habitaron los hijos de Israel en sus estancias, como antes.
And the Lord yaf a sauyour to Israel, and he was delyuered fro the hond of the kyng of Sirie; and the sones of Israel dwelliden in her tabernaclis, as yistirdai and the thridde dai ago.
6 Con todo eso no se apartaron de los pecados de la casa de Jeroboam, el que hizo pecar a Israel: en ellos anduvieron, y también el bosque permaneció en Samaria.
Netheles thei departiden not fro the synnes of the hows of Jeroboam, that made Israel to do synne; thei yeden in tho synnes; sotheli also the wode dwellide in Samarie.
7 Porque no le había quedado pueblo a Joacaz, sino cincuenta hombres de a caballo, y diez carros, y diez mil hombres de a pie; que el rey de Siria los había destruido, y los había puesto como polvo para trillar.
And to Joacham weren not left of the puple, no but fyue hundrid kniytis, and ten charis, and ten thousynde of foot men; for the kyng of Sirie hadde slayn hem, and hadde dryue hem as in to poudur in the threischyng of a cornfloor.
8 Lo demás de los hechos de Joacaz, y todo lo que hizo, y sus valentías, ¿no está escrito en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Israel?
Forsothe the residue of wordis of Joachaz, and alle thingis whiche he dide, and the strength of hym, whether these ben not wrytun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Israel?
9 Y durmió Joacaz con sus padres, y sepultáronle en Samaria: y reinó en su lugar Joas su hijo.
And Joachaz slepte with hise fadris, and thei birieden hym in Samarie; and Joas, his sone, regnyde for hym.
10 El año treinta y siete de Joas rey de Judá comenzó a reinar Joas, hijo de Joacaz, sobre Israel en Samaria, y reinó diez y seis años.
In the seuenthe and threttithe yeer of Joas, king of Juda, Joas, sone of Joachaz, regnede on Israel in Samarie sixtene yeer.
11 E hizo lo malo en ojos de Jehová: no se apartó de todos los pecados de Jeroboam, hijo de Nabat, el que hizo pecar a Israel: en ellos anduvo.
And he dide that, that is yuel in the siyt of the Lord; for he bowide not awei fro alle the synnes of Jeroboam, sone of Nabath, that made Israel to do synne; he yede in tho synnes.
12 Lo demás de los hechos de Joas, y todas las cosas que hizo, y sus valentías con que trajo guerra contra Amasías rey de Judá, ¿no está escrito en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Israel?
Forsothe the residue of wordis of Joas, and alle thingis whiche he dide, but also his strengthe, hou he fauyt ayens Amasie, kyng of Juda, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Israel?
13 Y durmió Joas con sus padres, y asentóse Jeroboam sobre su trono: y Joas fue sepultado en Samaria con los reyes de Israel.
And Joas slepte with hise fadris; forsothe Jeroboam sat on his trone. Sotheli Joas was biried in Samarie with the kyngis of Israel.
14 Eliseo estaba enfermo de su enfermedad, de la cual murió. Y descendió a él Joas rey de Israel, y llorando delante de él, dijo: Padre mío, padre mío, carros de Israel, y su gente de a caballo.
Forsothe Elisee was sijk in sikenesse, bi which and he was deed; and Joas, kyng of Israel, yede doun to hym, and wepte bifor hym, and seide, My fadir! my fadir! the chare of Israel, and the charietere therof!
15 Y díjole Eliseo: Toma el arco y las saetas. Entonces él tomóse el arco y las saetas.
And Elisee seide to hym, Brynge thou a bouwe and arowis. And whanne he hadde brouyte to Elisee a bouwe and arowis,
16 Y dijo Eliseo al rey de Israel: Encabalga tu mano sobre el arco. Y él encabalgó su mano sobre el arco. Entonces Eliseo puso sus manos sobre las manos del rey.
he seide to the kyng of Israel, Set thin hond on the bouwe. And whanne he hadde set his hond, Elisee settide his hondis on the hondis of the
17 Y dijo: Abre la ventana de hacia el oriente. Y como él la abrió, dijo Eliseo: Tira. Y tirando él, dijo Eliseo: Saeta de salud de Jehová, y saeta de salud contra Siria: porque herirás a los Siros en Afec hasta consumirlos.
kyng, and seide, Opene thou the eest wyndow. And whanne he hadde openyd, Elisee seide, Schete thou an arewe; and he schete. And Elisee seide, It is an arewe of helthe of the Lord, and an arowe of helthe ayens Sirie; and thou schalt smyte Sirie in Affeth, til thou waste it.
18 Y tornóle a decir: Toma las saetas: y después que el rey de Israel las hubo tomado, díjole: Hiere la tierra. Y él hirió tres veces, y cesó.
And Elisee seide, Take awei the arowis. And whanne he hadde take awei, Elisee seide eft to him, Smyte thou the erthe with a dart. And whanne he hadde smyte thre tymes,
19 Entonces el varón de Dios enojado con él, le dijo: A herir cinco o seis veces, herirías a Siria hasta no quedar ninguno; empero ahora tres veces herirás a Siria.
and hadde stonde, the man of God was wrooth ayens hym, and seide, If thou haddist smyte fyue sithis, ether sixe sithis, ethir seuen sithis, thou schuldist haue smyte Sirie `til to the endyng; now forsothe thou schalt smyte it thre sithis.
20 Y murió Eliseo, y sepultáronle. Entrado el año vinieron ejércitos de Moabitas en la tierra.
Therfor Elisee was deed, and thei birieden hym. And the theuys of Moab camen in to the lond in that yeer.
21 Y aconteció que queriendo unos sepultar un hombre, súbitamente vieron al ejército, y arrojaron al hombre en el sepulcro de Eliseo: y fue, y tocó el muerto los huesos de Eliseo, y revivió, y levantóse sobre sus pies.
Forsothe sum men birieden a man, and thei siyen the theues, and thei castiden forth the deed bodi in the sepulcre of Elisee; and whanne it hadde touchid the bonys of Elisee, the man lyuede ayen, and stood on his feet.
22 Así que Hazael rey de Siria afligió a Israel todo el tiempo de Joacaz.
Therfor Azael, kyng of Sirie, turmentide Israel in alle the daies of Joachaz.
23 Mas Jehová tuvo misericordia de ellos, y compadecióse de ellos, y mirólos por amor de su concierto con Abraham, Isaac, y Jacob: y no quiso destruirlos, ni echarlos de delante de sí hasta ahora.
And the Lord hadde merci on hem, and turnede ayen to hem for his couenaunt, which he hadde with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and he nolde distrie hem, nether cast awei outirli, til in to present tyme.
24 Y murió Hazael rey de Siria, y reinó en su lugar Ben-adad su hijo.
Forsothe Azael, kyng of Sirie, diede; and Benadad, his sone, regnede for hym.
25 Y volvió Joas, hijo de Joacaz, y tomó de mano de Ben-adad, hijo de Hazael, las ciudades que él había tomado de mano de Joacaz su padre en guerra: porque tres veces le hirió Joas, y restituyó las ciudades a Israel.
Forsothe Joas, sone of Joachas, took awei citees fro the hond of Benadad, sone of Asael, which he hadde take bi the riyt of batel fro the hoond of Joachaz, his fadir; Joas smoot hym thre tymes, and he yeldide the citees of Israel.
