2 Juan 1
1 El anciano a la señora elegida, y a sus hijos, a los cuales yo amo en verdad; y no solo yo, pero también todos los que han conocido la verdad;
The elder to the elect Cyria, and to her children, whom I love in truth, and not I only, but also all that know the truth, —
for the sake of the truth which abideth in us, and will be with us for ever. (aiōn g165)
3 Será con vosotros gracia, misericordia, paz, de Dios el Padre, y del Señor Jesu Cristo, el Hijo del Padre, en verdad y amor.
Grace, mercy, peace shall be with you from God the Father, and from Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
4 Heme regocijado grandemente, porque he hallado de tus hijos que andan en la verdad, como nosotros habemos recibido el mandamiento del Padre.
I rejoiced greatly, that I found some of thy children walking in truth, as we received commandment from the Father.
5 Y al presente, señora, yo te ruego, (no como escribiéndote un nuevo mandamiento, sino aquel que nosotros hemos tenido desde el principio, ) que nos amemos los unos a los otros.
And now I beseech thee, Cyria, not as writing to thee a new commandment, but that which we have had from the beginning, that we love one another.
6 Y éste es el amor, que andemos según sus mandamientos. Este es el mandamiento, como vosotros habéis oído desde el principio, que andéis en él.
And this is love, that we walk according to his commandments. This is the commandment, as ye have heard from the beginning, that ye should walk in it.
7 Porque muchos engañadores son entrados en el mundo, los cuales no confiesan Jesu Cristo ser venido en carne. Este tal engañador es, y anticristo.
For many deceivers went out into the world, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ coming in the flesh; this is the deceiver and the antichrist.
8 Mirád por vosotros mismos, porque no perdamos las cosas que habemos obrado, mas recibamos el galardón cumplido.
Look to yourselves, that ye lose not the things which ye wrought, but receive a full reward.
9 Cualquiera que se rebela, y no persevera en la doctrina de Cristo, no tiene a Dios: el que persevera en la doctrina de Cristo, el tal tiene tanto al Padre como al Hijo.
Whoever goeth beyond, and abideth not in the teaching of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the teaching, he hath both the Son and the Father.
10 Si alguno viene a vosotros, y no trae esta doctrina, no le recibáis en vuestra casa, ni aun le saludéis.
If any one cometh to you, and bringeth not this teaching, receive him not into your house, and do not bid him good speed.
11 Porque el que le saluda, comunica con sus malas obras.
For he that biddeth him good speed taketh part in his evil deeds.
12 Aunque tengo muchas cosas que escribiros, no las he querido escribir por papel y tinta; empero yo espero de venir a vosotros, y hablar con vosotros boca a boca, para que nuestro gozo sea cumplido.
Having many things to write to you, I would not write with paper and ink; but I hope to come to you, and to speak face to face, that our joy may be full.
13 Los hijos de tu hermana elegida te saludan. Amén.
The children of thy elect sister salute thee.
