2 Crónicas 3
1 Y comenzó Salomón a edificar la casa de Jehová en Jerusalem en el monte Moria, que había sido mostrado a David su padre, en el lugar que David había aparejado en la era de Ornán Jebuseo.
And Solomon began to build the house of the Lord in Jerusalem on mount Moriah, where He had appeared unto David his father, on the place that David had prepared in the threshing-floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
2 Y comenzó a edificar en el mes segundo, a los dos del mes, en el cuarto año de su reino.
And he began to build on the second day of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.
3 Estas son las medidas de que Salomón fundó el edificio de la casa de Dios. La primera medida fue la longitud de sesenta codos: y la anchura de veinte codos.
Now in this manner was the foundation laid of the house of God [at its] building [by] Solomon: The length by cubits after the first measure was sixty cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.
4 El portal que estaba en la delantera de la longitud era de veinte codos delante de la anchura de la casa: su altura era de ciento y veinte: y cubrióla de dentro de oro puro.
And the porch that was in the front of the length was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the height was a hundred and twenty: and he overlaid it within with pure gold.
5 Mas la casa mayor cubrió de madera de haya, la cual cubrió de buen oro, y sobre ella hizo subir palmas y cadenas.
And the great house he ceiled with fir-wood, which he overlaid with pure gold, and he wrought thereon palm-trees and chains.
6 Y cubrió la casa de piedras preciosas por excelencia: y el oro era oro de Parvaim.
And he overlaid the house with costly stones for ornament: and the gold was gold of Parvayim.
7 Así cubrió la casa, vigas, umbrales, sus paredes, y sus puertas de oro: y esculpió querubines por las paredes.
And he covered the house, the beams, the sills, and its walls, and its doors, with gold: and he engraved cherubim on the walls.
8 E hizo la casa del lugar santísimo, su longitud de veinte codos en la frontera de la anchura de la casa, y su anchura de veinte codos: y cubrióla de buen oro con seiscientos talentos.
And he made the most holy house, its length being in front of the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and its breadth twenty cubits: and he covered it with fine gold, [amounting] to six hundred talents.
9 Y el peso de los clavos tuvo cincuenta siclos de oro: asimismo cubrió de oro las salas.
And the weight of the nails [amounted] to fifty shekels of gold. And the upper chambers he covered with gold.
10 E hizo dentro del lugar santísimo dos querubines de hechura de niños, los cuales cubrieron de oro.
And he made in the most holy house two cherubim of sculpture work, and they overlaid them with gold.
11 La longitud de las alas de los querubines era de veinte codos; porque la una ala era de cinco codos, la cual llegaba hasta la pared de la casa; y la otra ala de cinco codos, la cual llegaba al ala del otro querubín.
And regarding the wings of the cherubim their length was twenty cubits; the wing of the one amounting to five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing of five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.
12 De la misma manera la una ala del otro querubín era de cinco codos, la cual llegaba hasta la pared de la casa; y la otra ala era de cinco codos, que tocaba al ala del otro querubín.
And the wing of the other cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house; and the other wing of five cubits was joined closely to the wing of the other cherub.
13 Así las alas de estos querubines estaban extendidas por veinte codos: y ellos estaban en pie, los rostros hacia la casa.
The wings of these cherubim [as they were] spread out were twenty cubits: and they were standing on their feet, and their faces were inward.
14 Hizo también un velo de cárdeno, púrpura, carmesí, y lino, e hizo subir en él querubines.
And he made the vail of blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and wrought thereon cherubim.
15 Delante de la casa hizo dos columnas de longitud de treinta y cinco codos, y el capitel que estaba en la cabeza, de cinco codos.
And he made before the house two pillars of thirty and five cubits in length, and the capital that was on the top of each of them was five cubits.
16 Hizo también unas cadenas en el oratorio, y púsolas sobre los capiteles de las columnas: e hizo cien granadas, las cuales puso en las cadenas.
And he made chains in the debir; and [others which] he placed on the top of the pillars; and he made a hundred pomegranates, and placed them on the chains.
17 Y asentó las columnas delante del templo: la una a la mano derecha, y la otra a la izquierda; y a la de la mano derecha llamó Jaquín, y a la de la izquierda Boaz.
And he set up the pillars in front of the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and he called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Bo'az.
