4 Noé, Sem, Cam, y Jafet.
Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
5 Los hijos de Jafet fueron Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javán, Tubal, Mosoc, y Tiras.
The sons of Japheth: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
6 Los hijos de Gomer fueron Ascenez, Rifat, y Togorma.
And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, and Diphath, and Togarmah.
7 Los hijos de Javán: Elisa, Társis, Cetim, y Dodanim.
And the sons of Javan: Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Rodanim.
8 Los hijos de Cam: Cus, Mizraim, Fut, y Canaán.
The sons of Ham: Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
9 Los hijos de Cus: Saba, Hevila, Sabata, Regma, y Sabataca. Y los hijos de Regma: Saba y Dadán.
And the sons of Cush: Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raama, and Sabteca. And the sons of Raama: Sheba, and Dedan.
10 Cus engendró a Nimrod: este comenzó a ser poderoso en la tierra.
And Cush begot Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
11 Mizraim engendró a Ludim, Anamim, Laabim, Neftuim,
And Mizraim begot Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
12 Fetrusim, y Casluim: de estos salieron los Filisteos, y los Caftoreos.
and Pathrusim, and Casluhim — from whence came the Philistines — and Caphtorim.
13 Canaán engendró a Sidón su primogénito;
And Canaan begot Zidon his first-born, and Heth;
14 Y al Jetteo, y al Jebuseo, y al Amorreo, y al Gergeseo;
and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite;
15 Y al Heveo, y al Araceo, y al Sineo;
and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite;
16 Al Aradeo, y al Samareo, y al Hamateo.
and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.
17 Los hijos de Sem fueron Elam, Assur, Arfajad, Lud, Aram, Hus, Hul, Geter, y Mosoc.
The Sons of Shem: Elam, and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.
18 Arfajad engendró a Sale, y Sale engendró a Heber.
And Arpachshad begot Shelah, and Shelah begot Eber.
19 Y a Heber nacieron dos hijos: el nombre del uno fue Faleg, por cuanto en sus días fue dividida la tierra, y el nombre de su hermano fue Jectán.
And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.
20 Y Jectán engendró a Elmodad, Salef, Asarmot, Jare,
And Joktan begot Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah;
21 Adoram, Uzal, Decla,
and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah;
22 Hebal, Abimael, Saba,
and Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba;
23 Ofir, Hevila, y Jobab: todos hijos de Jectán.
and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.
24 Sem, Arfajad, Sale,
Shem, Arpachshad, Shelah;
25 Heber, Faleg, Ragau,
Eber, Peleg, Reu;
26 Serug, Nacor, Tare,
Serug, Nahor, Terah;
27 Y Abram, el cual es Abraham.
Abram — the same is Abraham.
28 Los hijos de Abraham fueron Isaac e Ismael.
The sons of Abraham: Isaac, and Ishmael.
29 Y estas son sus descendencias: el primogénito de Ismael fue Nabajot: después de él Cedar, Adbeel, Mabsam,
These are their generations: the first-born of Ishmael, Nebaioth; then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
30 Masma, Duma, Massa, Hadad, Tema, Jetur, Nafis, y Cedma. Estos son los hijos de Ismael.
Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,
31 Y Cetura concubina de Abraham parió a Zamram, Jecsán, Madán, Madián, Jesboc, y a Sue.
Jetur, Naphish, and Kedem. These are the sons of Ishmael.
32 Los hijos de Jecsán fueron Sabá y Dadán.
And the sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: she bore Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan: Sheba, and Dedan.
33 Los hijos de Madián: Efa, Efer, Jenoc, Abida, y Eldaa. Todos estos fueron hijos de Cetura.
And the sons of Midian: Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the sons of Keturah.
34 Y Abraham engendró a Isaac: y los hijos de Isaac fueron Esaú e Israel.
And Abraham begot Isaac. The sons of Isaac: Esau, and Israel.
35 Los hijos de Esaú fueron Elifaz, Rahuel, Jehús, Jelom, y Coré.
The sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jalam and Korah.
36 Los hijos de Elifaz, Temán, Omar, Sefi, Gatam, Cenes, Temna, y Amalec.
The sons of Eliphaz: Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
37 Los hijos de Rahuel fueron Nahat, Zare, Samma, y Meza.
The sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
38 Los hijos de Seir fueron Lotán, Sobal, Sebeón, Ana, Disón, Eser, y Disán.
And the sons of Seir: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
39 Los hijos de Lotán: Hori, y Homam. Y Temna, fue hermana de Lotán.
And the sons of Lotan: Hori, and Homam; and Timna was Lotan's sister.
40 Los hijos de Sobal fueron Alván, Manahat, Ebal, Sefí y Onán. Los hijos de Sebeón, Aia y Ana.
The sons of Shobal: Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sons of Zibeon: Aiah, and Anah.
41 Disón fue hijo de Ana. Los hijos de Disón fueron Hamram, Esebán, Jetrán, y Carán.
The sons of Anah: Dishon. And the sons of Dishon: Hamran, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
42 Los hijos de Ezer: Balaam, Zaván, y Acán. Los hijos de Disán: Hus y Aram.
The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zaavan, Jaakan. The sons of Dishan: Uz, and Aran.
43 Y estos son los reyes que reinaron en la tierra de Edom, antes que reinase rey sobre los hijos de Israel. Bela, hijo de Beor: y el nombre de su ciudad fue Denaba.
Now these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before their reigned any king over the children of Israel: Bela the son of Beor; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
44 Y muerto Bela, reinó en su lugar Jobab, hijo de Zaré de Bosra.
And Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
45 Y muerto Jobab, reinó en su lugar Husam, de la tierra de los Temanos.
And Jobab died, and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.
46 Muerto Husam, reinó en su lugar Adad, hijo de Badad: este hirió a Madián en la campaña de Moab: y el nombre de su ciudad fue Avit.
And Husham died, and Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Avith.
47 Muerto Adad, reinó en su lugar Semla de Maresca.
And Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.
48 Muerto también Semla, reinó en su lugar Saul de Rohobot que está junto al río.
And Samlah died, and Shaul of Rehoboth by the River reigned in his stead.
49 Y muerto Saul, reinó en su lugar Balanán, hijo de Acobor.
And Shaul died, and Baal-hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.
50 Y muerto Balanán, reinó en su lugar Adar, el nombre de su ciudad fue Fau: y el nombre de su mujer fue Meetabel, hija de Matred, e hija de Mezaab.
And Baal-hanan died, and Hadad reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Pai; and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.
51 Muerto Adar, sucedieron los duques en Edom: el duque Tamna, el duque Alva, el duque Jetet;
And Hadad died. And the chiefs of Edom were: the chief of Timna, the chief of Alvah, the chief of Jetheth;
52 El duque Oolibama, el duque Ela, el duque Finón;
the chief of Oholibamah, the chief of Elah, the chief of Pinon;
53 El duque Cenez, el duque Temán, el duque Mabsar;
the chief of Kenaz, the chief of Teman, the chief of Mibzar;
54 El duque Magdiel, el duque Hiram. Estos fueron los duques de Edom.
the chief of Magdiel, the chief of Iram. These are the chiefs of Edom.
