Zacarías 5
1 Volví a levantar la vista, y al mirar, vi un rollo que volaba.
And I again lifted up my eyes, and looked, and behold there was a flying roll[-book].
2 Y me preguntó: ¿Qué ves? Respondí: Veo un rollo que vuela, de nueve metros de largo y cuatro y medio de ancho.
And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll, its length is twenty cubits, and its breadth ten cubits.
3 Entonces me dijo: Esta es la maldición que sale por toda la superficie de la tierra. Ciertamente de ahora en adelante, según lo escrito en un lado, todo el que roba será echado fuera, y el que jura, según lo escrito en el otro lado, será echado fuera.
Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of all the earth; for every one that stealeth as it is on this side shall be in an equal degree entirely destroyed, as also every one that sweareth [falsely] as it is on that side shall be likewise entirely destroyed.
4 Yo [lo] hice salir, dice Yavé de las huestes, y entrará en la casa del ladrón, y en la casa del que jura falsamente por mi Nombre. Pasará la noche dentro de esa casa hasta que su madera y sus piedras se consuman.
I bring it forth, saith the Lord of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with its timber and its stones.
5 El Ángel que hablaba conmigo salió y me dijo: Levanta ahora tus ojos y mira qué es lo que sale.
Then went forth the angel that spoke with me, and said unto me, Do but lift up thy eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth.
6 Y pregunté: ¿Qué es? Y respondió: Es una caja que sale para medir 22 litros. Dijo además: Esta es la apariencia de ellos en toda la tierra.
And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an ephah that goeth forth. He said moreover, This is their appearance through all the earth.
7 Vi que una tapa de plomo fue levantada, y había una mujer sentada en medio de la caja.
And, behold, there was lifted up a heavy [cover] of lead: and there was a certain woman sitting in the midst of the ephah.
8 Y dijo: Esta es la maldad. La echó dentro de la caja y puso la tapa de plomo sobre su abertura.
And he said, This is the wickedness. And he cast her into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weighty lead cover upon the mouth thereof.
9 Luego levanté mis ojos y miré. Vi dos mujeres con alas como de cigüeña, quienes salían con el viento en sus alas. Levantaron la caja de medir entre la tierra y el cielo.
Then did I lift up my eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, having the wind in their wings, and they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven.
10 Y dije al ángel que hablaba conmigo: ¿A dónde llevan la caja de medir?
Then said I to the angel that spoke with me, Whither are these bearing away the ephah?
11 Y me respondió: A edificarle templo en tierra de Sinar, para que cuando esté listo sea puesta allí en su lugar.
And he said unto me, To build for it a house in the land of Shin'ar: and when this is erected, then will the other be set there upon its own base.
