Zacarías 12

1 La respuesta de la Palabra de Yavé en lo relacionado con Israel: Yavé, Quien extiende el cielo, pone el cimiento de la tierra y forma el espíritu del hombre dentro de él, dice:

The oracle of the word of Yahweh, on Israel, —Declareth Yahweh—Stretching out the heavens, and founding the earth, and fashioning the spirit of man within him:

2 Ciertamente Yo convierto a Jerusalén en copa que hará temblar a todos los pueblos de alrededor. Cuando esté sitiada Jerusalén, también estará contra Judá.

Lo! I am making Jerusalem a bowl of reeling to all the peoples, round about, —Moreover also, on Judah, shall it be in the siege against Jerusalem;

3 Aquel día Yo pondré a Jerusalén como piedra pesada a todos los pueblos. Todos los que se la carguen serán despedazados. Y todas las naciones de la tierra se juntarán contra ella.

And it shall come to pass, in that day, that I will make Jerusalem a lifting-stone, to all the peoples, all who seek to lift her, shall, cut themselves in pieces, —though all the nations of the earth, gather themselves together against her.

4 Aquel día, dice Yavé, golpearé con pánico todo caballo y a todo jinete con locura. Pero abriré mis ojos con favor sobre la Casa de Judá y heriré con ceguera todo caballo de las naciones oponentes.

In that day, Declareth Yahweh, I will smite every horse with terror, and his rider with madness, —and, over the house of Judah, will I keep opening mine eyes, and, every horse of the peoples, will I smite with blindness.

5 Entonces los jefes de Judá dirán en su corazón: Los habitantes de Jerusalén son un fuerte apoyo para nosotros por medio de Yavé de las huestes, su ʼElohim.

Then will the chiefs of Judah say in their hearts, —A strength unto me, [would be] the inhabitants of Jerusalem, in Yahweh of hosts, their God.

6 Aquel día pondré a los jefes de Judá como brasero encendido entre la leña y como antorcha de fuego entre los conjuntos de espigas, pues devorarán a derecha y a izquierda a todos los pueblos vecinos. Los de Jerusalén vivirán otra vez con seguridad en Jerusalén, su lugar.

In that day, will I make the chiefs of Judah like a pan of fire among sticks, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf, so shall they devour, on the right hand and on the left, all the peoples round about; so shall Jerusalem yet, be inhabited, in her own place, as Jerusalem.

7 Pero Yavé salvará primero las tiendas de Judá para que la altivez de la casa de David y de los habitantes de Jerusalén no se exalte sobre Judá.

But Yahweh will save the tents of Judah first, —lest the honour of the house of David, and the honour of the inhabitant of Jerusalem, should be magnified over Judah.

8 Aquel día Yavé defenderá al habitante de Jerusalén. El que de ellos sea débil será como David, y la casa de David será como ʼElohim, como el Ángel de Yavé delante de ellos.

In that day, will Yahweh, throw a covering, around the inhabitant of Jerusalem, so shall the tottering among them, in that day, become like David, —and the house of David—like God, like the messenger of Yahweh, before them.

9 Aquel día me propondré destruir a todas las naciones que lleguen contra Jerusalén.

And it shall come to pass, in that day, —That I will seek to destroy all the nations, that come against Jerusalem.

10 Derramaré Espíritu de gracia y de súplica sobre la casa de David y sobre los habitantes de Jerusalén. Mirarán a Mí, a Quien traspasaron. Llorarán como se llora por Hijo Unigénito, y se afligirán por Él como el que se aflige por el primogénito.

But I will pour out upon the house of David and upon the inhabitant of Jerusalem, the spirit of favour, and of supplications, and they will look unto me, whom they have pierced, —and will wail over him, as one waileth over an only son, and will make bitter outcry over him, as one maketh bitter outcry over a firstborn.

11 Aquel día habrá gran llanto en Jerusalén, como el llanto de Hadad-rimón en la llanura de Meguido.

In that day, will the wailing, be great, in Jerusalem, as the wailing of Hadadrimmon, in the valley of Megiddon;

12 La tierra lamentará, cada familia aparte. La familia de la casa de David por separado, y sus esposas aparte. La familia de la casa de Natán por separado, y sus esposas aparte.

So shall the land, wail, family by family, apart, —the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart, the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;

13 La familia de la casa de Leví por separado, y sus esposas aparte. La familia de Simei por separado, y sus esposas aparte.

The family of the house of Levi, apart, and their wives apart, the family of Shimei, apart, —and their wives apart:

14 Todas las otras familias, cada familia por separado, y sus esposas aparte.

All the families that remain, family by family, apart, —and their wives, apart.
