Romanos 8
1 Ahora, pues, ningún juicio hay para los que están en Cristo Jesús,
There is, then, now no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit;
2 porque la Ley del Espíritu de vida en Cristo Jesús nos libró de la ley del pecado y de la muerte.
for the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus set me free from the law of sin and of death;
3 Lo imposible para la Ley por cuanto era débil por causa de la carne, Dios [lo resolvió] al enviar a su propio Hijo en semejanza de cuerpo pecaminoso [como ofrenda] por el pecado. Así pronunció sentencia en el cuerpo contra el pecado,
for what the Law was not able to do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, His own Son having sent in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh,
4 para que la exigencia de la Ley se cumpliera en nosotros, los que andamos según el espíritu, no según la naturaleza humana.
that the righteousness of the Law may be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
5 Porque los que viven según [la] naturaleza humana piensan en las cosas corporales, pero los que viven según [el] Espíritu, en las cosas del Espíritu.
For those who are according to the flesh, mind the things of the flesh; and those according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit;
6 Pues la aspiración de la naturaleza humana es muerte, pero la aspiración del espíritu es vida y paz.
for the mind of the flesh [is] death, and the mind of the Spirit—life and peace;
7 Los designios de [la] naturaleza humana son enemistad contra Dios, pues no se someten a [la] Ley de Dios, ni tampoco pueden.
because the mind of the flesh [is] enmity to God, for to the Law of God it does not subject itself,
8 Así que los que viven según [la] naturaleza humana no pueden agradar a Dios.
for neither is it able; and those who are in the flesh are not able to please God.
9 Pero ustedes no viven según [la] naturaleza humana, sino por [el] Espíritu, si en verdad [el] Espíritu de Dios mora en ustedes. Si alguno no tiene [el ]Espíritu de Cristo, no es de Él.
And you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you; and if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ—this one is not His;
10 Pero si Cristo está en ustedes, el cuerpo en verdad está muerto por causa del pecado, pero el espíritu vive por causa de [la] justicia.
and if Christ [is] in you, the body, indeed, [is] dead because of sin, and the Spirit [is] life because of righteousness,
11 Si el Espíritu del que resucitó a Jesús de entre [los] muertos vive en ustedes, el que resucitó a Cristo de entre [los] muertos vivificará también sus cuerpos mortales por medio de su Espíritu que mora en ustedes.
and if the Spirit of Him who raised up Jesus out of the dead dwells in you, He who raised up the Christ out of the dead will also quicken your dying bodies, through His Spirit dwelling in you.
12 Así que, hermanos, no somos deudores a la naturaleza humana para que vivamos según ella.
So, then, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh;
13 Porque si viven según [la] naturaleza humana, morirán. Pero si por [el] Espíritu hacen morir las prácticas de la naturaleza humana, vivirán.
for if according to the flesh you live, you are about to die; and if, by the Spirit, the deeds of the body you put to death, you will live;
14 Pues todos los que son guiados por [el ]Espíritu de Dios son hijos de Dios.
for as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God;
15 Porque no recibieron un espíritu de esclavitud que los guíe otra vez al temor, sino recibieron [el] Espíritu de adopción, por Quien clamamos: ¡Abba! (¡Padre!)
for you did not receive a spirit of bondage again for fear, but you received [the] Spirit of adoption in which we cry, “Abba! Father!”
16 El Espíritu mismo da testimonio a nuestro espíritu de que somos hijos de Dios.
[This] One—the Spirit—testifies with our spirit, that we are children of God;
17 Si hijos, también herederos: herederos de Dios y coherederos con Cristo, si sufrimos con Él, para que también seamos glorificados con Él.
and if children, also heirs, heirs, indeed, of God, and heirs together of Christ—if, indeed, we suffer together, that we may also be glorified together.
18 Considero que los sufrimientos actuales no merecen [compararse con] la gloria que se nos manifestará.
For I reckon that the sufferings of the present time [are] not worthy [to be compared] with the glory about to be revealed in us;
19 La creación espera con ardiente anhelo la manifestación de los hijos de Dios.
for the earnest looking out of the creation expects the revelation of the sons of God;
20 Pues la creación fue sometida a vanidad, no por su propia voluntad, sino porque [Dios la ]sujetó, con la esperanza
for to vanity was the creation made subject—not of its will, but because of Him who subjected [it]—in hope,
21 de que también la misma creación sea liberada de la esclavitud a la corrupción hacia la libertad gloriosa de los hijos de Dios.
that also the creation itself will be set free from the servitude of the corruption to the liberty of the glory of the children of God;
22 Porque sabemos que toda la creación gime y sufre dolores de parto hasta ahora.
for we have known that all the creation groans together, and travails in pain together until now.
23 No solo [ella], sino también nosotros mismos, quienes tenemos la primicia del Espíritu, también gemimos al esperar ansiosamente la [adopción], la redención de nuestro cuerpo.
And not only [so], but also we ourselves, having the first-fruit of the Spirit, we also ourselves groan in ourselves, expecting adoption—the redemption of our body;
24 Porque en esperanza fuimos salvos, pero la [esperanza] que se ve no es esperanza, porque ¿qué espera el que ve?
for in hope we were saved, and hope beheld is not hope; for what anyone beholds, why does he also hope for [it]?
25 Pero si esperamos lo que no vemos, pacientemente esperamos con anhelo.
And if what we do not behold we hope for, through continuance we expect [it].
26 De igual manera el Espíritu nos ayuda en nuestra debilidad, porque no sabemos pedir lo que conviene, pero el mismo Espíritu intercede por nosotros con gemidos inexpresables.
And in like manner also, the Spirit helps our weaknesses; for what we may pray for, as it is necessary, we have not known, but [this] One—the Spirit—makes intercession for us with unutterable groanings,
27 El que escudriña los corazones sabe cuál es la aspiración del Espíritu, porque intercede por [los] santos según Dios.
and He who is searching the hearts has known what [is] the mind of the Spirit, because according to God He intercedes for holy ones.
28 Sabemos que a los que aman a Dios, todas las cosas ayudan para lo bueno, a los que son llamados según [su] propósito.
And we have known that to those loving God all things work together for good, to those who are called according to purpose;
29 Porque a los que de antemano conoció, también predestinó para que sean conformados a la Imagen de su Hijo, a fin de que Él sea el Primogénito entre muchos hermanos.
because whom He foreknew, He also foreordained, conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be firstborn among many brothers;
30 A los que predestinó también llamó. A los que llamó también declaró justos. Y a los que declaró justos también glorificó.
and whom He foreordained, these also He called; and whom He called, these also He declared righteous; and whom He declared righteous, these also He glorified.
31 ¿Qué diremos con respecto a esto? Si Dios está a favor de nosotros, ¿quién contra nosotros?
What, then, will we say to these things? If God [is] for us, who [is] against us?
32 El que no nos negó a su propio Hijo, sino lo entregó por todos nosotros, ¿cómo no nos dará abundantemente todas las cosas con Él?
He who indeed did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him grant to us all things?
33 ¿Quién presentará cargos contra [los] escogidos de Dios? Dios es el que justifica.
Who will lay a charge against the chosen ones of God? God [is] He that is declaring righteous;
34 ¿Quién es el que pronunciará sentencia? Cristo murió, y aun más, fue resucitado. También está a [la] mano derecha de Dios e intercede por nosotros.
who [is] he that is condemning? Christ [is] He that died, indeed, rather also, was raised up; who is also on the right hand of God—who also interceded for us.
35 ¿Qué nos separará del amor de Cristo? ¿Tribulación, angustia, persecución, hambruna, desnudez, peligro o espada?
Who will separate us from the love of the Christ? Tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 Como está escrito: Por causa de Ti estamos muertos todo el tiempo. Fuimos estimados como ovejas de matadero.
According as it has been written: “For Your sake we are put to death all the day long; we were reckoned as sheep of slaughter.”
37 Pero en todas estas cosas ganamos la más gloriosa victoria por medio de Aquel que nos amó.
But in all these we more than conquer, through Him who loved us;
38 Porque estoy convencido de que ni [la ]muerte, ni [la ]vida, ni ángeles, ni gobernantes, ni lo presente, ni lo que viene, ni poderes,
for I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor messengers, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present,
39 ni lo alto, ni lo profundo, ni otra criatura podrá separarnos del amor de Dios, que es en Cristo Jesús, nuestro Señor.
nor things about to be, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God that [is] in Christ Jesus our Lord.
